UK, France and Ukraine agree to work on
ceasefire plan for Russia’s war in Ukraine

LONDON — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived at a London summit of European leaders to discuss the war in his country, two days after talks broke down in dramatic fashion at the White House with U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump blasted Zelenskyy for not being grateful enough for U.S. support. Zelenskyy arrived after several of his peers, including French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, NATO’s Secretary General

Comments:

A ceasefire plan by the Frenchies is apparently good, good, good. But a ceasefire plan by Trump is playing into Putin's hands?

Cease fire? If you call getting the big one dropped on you a cease fire after advocating a cease fire then you’ve got a cease fire.

The Trump administration had a deal negotiated in good faith with Zelensky that hopefully would have led to a lasting peace. Zelensky reneged on the deal and tried to strong arm the President of the United States in front of the entire world. I don’t think we should participate in any deal negotiated between him and the Europeans. He is like a child trying to play both parents against each other each other.

This is a teachable moment. No agreement, law or treaty is worth the paper that it written on without the means and will to enforce it. The Europeans won't put themselves on the line unless or until the US leads the way. I find it hilarious that the Europeans have discovered that they must increase their defense spending, because the US won't bleed for Ukraine.

They agreed to work on a ceasefire to PRESENT to the US; don't miss that part. Little dict ran crying to Europe after he got spanked in his play military leader suit (think Gaddafi, Castro) by President Trump and VP Vance. You know when I used to hear about the one world government, I always assumed their takeover and rule would be well orchestrated and executed. What I've seen from leftists the last 30 years or so has convinced me otherwise. Leftists don't get enough practice at being good at building and running things; they have a lot of practice in destroying things, though. Therefore, the OWG takeover of the world will be a hot mess; a lot of people will be imprisoned, tortured, and will die, but it will still be a hot mess run by a bunch of incompetent people whose best skillset is their evil. No wonder God will only allow it for a short space of time.

First of all I had to fumigate my computer opening an AP article. But, talk about a set up. What we see here, is once again the US and global deep state are trying to destroy Trump and his administration. This was all worked out in advance and Zelensky did as he was told to publicly blow up the peace plan. We know this by the articles confirming Obama's minions were involved in urging Zelensky to turn down the deal ensuring that Trump and the US under no circumstances can get this enormous win of peace. AND now Starmer and these deep state creeps are going ahead and setting up a "peace" plan which they expect the US to continue funding and putting troops on the ground? How stupid do they think Trump is? Now, NOW!, Trump should bring the EU and Zelensky to their knees. Pull out every single dime of funding for Europe and the Ukraine. Let them all fight it out on their own. Enough with the Ukraine quagmire. It ain't and it has never been our fight!

If this turns into a numbers game, all of Western and Eastern Europe has more people than Russia. Let's see if Europe can deter Russia on their own. The US has done more than its share. It's way pass time for Europe to step up to the plate and shoulder the burden. Maybe someday Russia will get it through its thick skull that the rest of the world will not tolerate Russian aggression. They do this stuff because others let them get away with it.

No peace deal that includes Zelensky is worth doing. Zelensky has proven he does not bargain in good faith. He would make promises to draw in the US and then play backdoor games to rabble rouse and draw Russia back into active conflict. Then he would demand that the US engage to defend Ukraine and we are in WWIII. Oh, and Europe would be OK with war because it would weaken Trump and the US, which has been their strategy all along. They can't compete with the US fairly so they are trying to pull the US into things that drain us. If Europe wants to start a war, let THEM fight it. NATO alliances that are triggered because Europe deliberately antagonized opponents should be considered to be toxic and Europe should be warned we will not rescue them if they deliberately put themselves in harms way by propping up a non NATO country. Trump needs to tell tell them this in BOLD language. If Ukraine is the trigger, you will fight without the US. Starmer has said "and providing a “U.S. backstop,” to prevent Putin from breaking promises.“That’s the package. All three parts need to be in place". Under no circumstances should Trump allow the US to be pulled into such an agreement. And if Trump will not engage, neither will Europe. That leaves Zelensky twisting in the wind. Stupidity and arrogance has a price.

Chris Murphy, Alexander Vindman, Susan Rice, Victoria Nuland, all Trump haters and these people would do absolutely anything to make Trump look bad and give the cease fire credit to another country. "the three of them had agreed to work on a peace plan to take to the U.S., which has discussed brokering a peace deal." I think anything they present to PDJT will be met with a version of "Not my monkeys, not my circus." Zelensky burnt that bridge pretty thoroughly. They're going to have to go directly to President Putin with their peace plan... if he'll pick up the phone to talk to any of them.

First, the question asked by CNN’s Dana Bash: Host Dana Bash said, “Do you think there’s hope of salvaging this relationship with Ukraine?” This is mind-numbingly stupid. The proper question, as even Zelensky realizes, is whether Ukraine has hope of salvaging its relationship with the United States. Anybody who watched the entire Oval Office meeting between President Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky would know that it was not an “ambush” or a “setup” by Trump, as characterized by Democrats and malign media entities. It was the opposite. If anyone came to that meeting in bad faith, it was clearly Zelensky, whose body language and attitude was negative from the start. Trump could not have been more cordial, having steered the complex negotiations with Russia and Ukraine to a first step where he believed peace was a real possibility. But Zelensky had other ideas. He contradicted, interrupted and insulted Trump, even
