DOGE discovers $4.7 trillion in Treasury
payments were missing critical code: ‘Traceability
almost impossible’

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) announced Monday that some $4.7 trillion in payments from the Treasury Department were missing a critical tracking code which made tracing the transactions “almost impossible.” The transactions were reportedly missing the Treasury Account Symbol, or TAS, an identification code which links a Treasury payment to a budget line item, according to DOGE, which described the use of such code as a “standard financial process.” “In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible,” read an X post from DOGE.

Just STOP sending the money out. SOMEONE will notice and PROBABLY call to complain. The IRS wants to know where every penny goes especially if I make a $601 charge somewhere but, if I want to know how they spend OUR tax dollars it is a CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS.

The government is like the school systems in the U.S. The school boards and government keep throwing $$ at the bad system and the outcome is still the same....failing. The U.S. government started lowering their standards for YEARS. Someone or many need to take responsibility for this mess.

And no one on the Left thinks that the code being missing wasn't deliberate? This deserves a DEEP DIVE to find exactly who got these payments and why. We need NAMES. Payments this large probably went electronically to an account and the account should be identifiable with a court order. We don't need everyone identified to start, just enough to get an idea who got the money. If that stinks, we need to follow it to the end for all the payments. How long has this been going on? Can you image keeping your personal records like this? Or a business doing it? The government would rip us apart for tax fraud.

It gets worse with each passing day. I think hitlery's home server had a lot of helpful information. It was probably what she was building to keep evil people under her thumb. The American people are about to erupt big time over this, while the left has the nerve to start forming protests. Who's paying for the protests now? Obviously, some of our money is well stashed to fund their fight against transparency efforts.

Seems to me that every federal employee who had any part of working in a system designed to be untraceable, without these codes, should be fired with cause today. The leadership should be arrested for mishandling tax dollars and then try to get them to flip on who gave them the orders. I suspect it will all lead back to the see eye a. THAT is the agency that needs to be broken into a thousand pieces (even more than the education department).

It's no wonder the deep state bureaucracy is fighting so hard to hide their records from DOGE. I witnessed this in my employment at a defense company. Lack of proper training. The company "saved" on training - "our employees are the best and they will figure it out" Late 90s the company instituted a a new electronic business system which required certain fields to be filled before being proceeding to the next page. Poor training meant many employees didn't know what to enter so it led to jibberish.I audited a process and found a lot of 12345, abcde, a few "colorful" (like thisux) and other meaningless entries.

Start linking this type of incompetence to how it impacts people's lives. What better programs that could actually help make a difference. How it would benefit people since they don't likely need to pay as much in taxes and fees after all. Now you know why they needed to "get Trump" back in 2016 since he simply wanted to actually fix problems.

Still, it has been reduced to a near-fainting fit — and, in the case of one German official, actual tears — over the Trump administration’s tough words about its deficient military spending and its moves to begin negotiating on its own with Russia over the Ukraine war. In response, French President Emanuel Macron called an emergency summit of European leaders, which his advisers insisted wasn’t an emergency summit at all, but merely a rapidly assembled informal meeting Whatever the nomenclature, there are signs that Europe is beginning to get the memo — or, more precisely, beginning to read a memo

The United States was born not just in rebellion against a distant monarch, but in revolt against tyranny itself. The Founding Fathers put their lives, property, wealth, and honor on the line to establish a great nation based on freedom, liberty, and self-governance. They faced impossible odds: the might of the British Empire, divisions among the colonies, and the entrenched moral and political questions raised by slavery — a practice that was already embedded in the economies of Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Centuries later, many identify echoes of their struggles in Donald Trump’s battle against what he calls the “Deep State” and established global elites.

The 32-year-old grandson of President John F, Kennedy told the cost-cutting DOGE initiative to “eat s–t” after the Boston-based library shut its doors Tuesday afternoon because of staffing cuts. The library blamed the closure on President Trump’s recent executive order overhauling the federal workforce. “Hey, it’s Jack,” Schlossberg said in the clip posted online — just two weeks after he dramatically claimed he was quitting social media. “I’m OK, but our country is not.
