NASA is on high alert for a “city-killer” asteroid that’s headed toward Earth — cuz they don’t wanna miss a thing. The asteroid, called 2024 YR4, now has a 1.5% probability of hitting earth in 2032, according to NASA — and international agencies are feverishly working together to track the space rock and looking at how to blow it to smithereens if necessary. “No one is panicking, but it’s definitely what we’re talking about in the hallways of NASA,” says a project manager at Kennedy Space Center. “We know we have enough time to act, but now’s the time to start planning. You can’t half-*** this at the last minute.”

The U.N. General Assembly voted overwhelmingly Friday to support a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict and urge Israel to commit to a Palestinian state, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vehemently opposes.
The 193-member world body approved a nonbinding resolution endorsing the “New York Declaration,” which sets out a phased plan to end the nearly 80-year conflict. The vote was 142-10 with 12 abstentions.
Hours before the vote, Netanyahu said “there will be no Palestinian state.” He spoke at the signing of an agreement to expand settlements that will divide the West Bank, which the Palestinians insist must be part of their state, saying, “This place belongs to us.”

Such optional demand response programs are already available to large commercial users, but House Bill 427, introduced in late August by state Rep. Roy Klopfenstein, R-Haviland, would allow utilities to develop them for residential consumers. “This legislation is a crucial step in our state’s comprehensive plan to ensure all Ohioans have access to reliable, affordable and readily available energy,” The programs wouldn’t be mandatory. A current Secret Service agent believes that Charlie Kirk deserved the assassin’s bullet that took his life.

The suspect alleged to have assassinated Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk has been identified and is in custody, according to the FBI.
Utah Gov. Spencer Cox participated in a press briefing with FBI Director Kash Patel on Friday. “Ladies and gentlemen, we got him,” Cox declared.
The governor explained that “a family member of Tyler Robinson reached out to a family friend who contacted the Washignton County Sheriff’s office with information that Robinson had confessed to them or implied that he had committed the incident.”
Cox further explained that Robinson arrived on the Utah Valley University campus, where the shooting occurred at about 8:29 a.m., in a grey Dodge Challenger.
Office Depot is facing backlash and even boycott calls after a Michigan store allegedly refused to print a poster of slain conservative commentator Charlie Kirk for a vigil, with a GOP official blasting the company online and calling the move censorship.
Matthew DePerno, an attorney and Republican activist, said the Kalamazoo County Republican Party ordered the poster at 2:24 p.m. Friday from the Office Depot in Portage, MI, for a vigil honoring Kirk scheduled for that evening.
But around 5:30 p.m., DePerno said a store print supervisor named “Beryl” called and told organizers the order would not be completed because the poster was “propaganda.”
