US President Donald Trump confirmed on Thursday that “billions of dollars have been stolen at USAID and other agencies.”
Trump added, “This could be the biggest scandal of them all, perhaps the biggest in history. Democrats can’t hide from this one. Too big, too dirty.”
President Trump is referring to the billions of dollars allocated by USAID that never made it to people in need. other resources from USAID made it to NGOs who were organizing the invasion of America.

The Senate confirmed Russell Vought to return as head of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) after having helmed the agency during the latter half of President Trump’s first term.
All 53 Republicans backed Vought as OMB director, while every Democrat (47) opposed Trump’s nominee.
“Mr. Vought will have the chance to address two key economic issues — cutting burdensome government regulations and addressing excessive spending,” said Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) in a floor speech Wednesday. “And the history of the past four years under the Biden administration is a history of burdensome new regulations.”

On Thursday, President Donald Trump spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast, an event that has been going on since 1953, which means his Democratic predecessors, Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, also attended the event. That didn't stop Rep. Jared Huffman (D-CA) from going on his crazy rant about "MAGA Republicans" and "church and state" as he went to protest the event, posting a nearly 90-second video clip of him doing so.
The post also begins by bringing Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) into it, suggesting that this is his prayer breakfast and part of a pattern when it comes to "MAGA Republicans taking a sledgehammer

Sometimes you have to laugh. Earlier this week, Sen. Chuck Schumer threw his toys out of the stroller in a social media post. He wrote: “An unelected shadow government is conducting a hostile takeover of the federal government.”
To the extent that this histrionic claim makes any sense we must guess that Schumer was talking about the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Schumer seemed especially angry about the closure of USAID. He went on to grouse about Donald Trump and his “billionaire buddies.”
Happily for those of us who keep an eye on such things, Schumer’s rant was reposted by Alex Soros.

Border czar Tom Homan said Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “The Faulkner Focus” that he would “seek prosecution” of any mayor or governor that impeded their mass deportation operation.
Homan said, “I think the American people, they gave President Trump a mandate. It’s immigration, the border security, immigration enforcement’s number one, and we’re going to keep President Trump’s promise. I looked at the numbers this morning, ICE has already arrested just short of 12,000 people in this country, vast majority are criminals, public safety threats. That’s what we’re trying to do.”

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will work on upgrading the aviation system, and then fired back at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton after she weighed in.
“Big News – Talked to the DOGE team. They are going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system,” Duffy noted in a post on X.
Clinton chimed in, tweeting, “They have no relevant experience. Most of them aren’t old enough to rent a car. And you’re going to let them mess with airline safety that’s already deteriorated on your watch?” (Photos) Duffy fired back at Clinton, the Democrat who lost the 2016 presidential election

DOGE was throwing the Democrats into a tizzy this week after Elon Musk's team turned its attention to USAID and started uncovering a pile of waste and bad things. Dems have gotten so out of hand in response that even former Democrat representative Tim Ryan from Ohio called out Chuck Schumer and how they were responding. Even a CNN panel laughed their heads off at how inept the protest from the Democrats was. n the whirlwind of all that, Mike Benz, the Director of the Foundation for Freedom Online and a former State Department official, connected the dots to another thing that USAID was associated with -- former Wyoming GOP

Newly confirmed Attorney General Pam Bondi took swift action on Thursday, suing Illinois and Chicago to enforce immigration law.
Bondi’s suit, one of her first actions in her post, contends the state’s and city’s sanctuary city policies are unlawful and seeks to have them deemed “invalid.”
“I will restore integrity to the Justice Department, and I will fight violent crime throughout this country and throughout this world and make America safe again,” Bondi said Wednesday after being sworn in as attorney general.

President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, along with a team of young men at the Department of Government Efficiency, dealt a massive blow to the bureaucratic ‘Deep State’ last week with the temporary pause on funding to USAID. The organization has previously come under scrutiny for its lack of transparency in how it allocates its almost $50 billion in funding, with many suggesting that the organization is a “front for the CIA.”
J. Michael Waller, author of Big Intel: How the CIA and FBI Went From Cold War Heroes to Deep State Villians,” pushed back on the “front for the CIA” claim in a post on X.

When you're the Democrats, and CNN is openly laughing at you -- and not just the inimitable Scott Jennings, who jokingly begged producers to roll the montage again -- that's probably not a great sign. A collection of opposition politicians gathered in DC this week to shriek into microphones about Elon Musk's efforts to reduce government waste. Cheered on by a their usual insta-crowd, a collection of activists and bureaucrats who can always be relied upon to drop whatever they're doing (or not doing) attend such 'rallies,' they inveighed against Musk, Trump, and other assorted enemies. Some of the attacks were vituperative, personal, and slanderous like shouting

Senate Democrats on Thursday delayed Kash Patel’s committee confirmation vote for a week. The far left is doing all it can to prevent Kash Patel from becoming FBI Chief. They know the truth is going to come out from the Comey and Wray years, and it terrifies them.
Democrats were able to delay the vote due to panel rules. Voting on Patel’s nomination was on the agenda for Judiciary Committee members, but Democrats requested it be held over one week.
It is the prerogative of a member to request such a move one time. A similar move was made on Attorney General Pam Bondi’s nomination last month.

USAID materials were found among weapons used by Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon, according to a newly-released photograph.
Asher Fredman, a conservative policy analyst and peace advocate who also served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as a reservist during the recent conflict in Lebanon, posted a photo Wednesday of a USAID box he had found in a Hezbollah weapons cache: (X) The photograph, which has since gone viral, reinforces evidence published by Breitbart News in October 2024 that shows USAID materials among anti-tank missiles found by IDF soldiers after they defeated Hezbollah terrorists.
