Senate Republicans have once again enabled RINO Mitch McConnell, gifting him the chairmanships of the Senate Rules Committee and the powerful Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense for the 119th Congress.
Despite concerns over McConnell’s mental acuity, his new roles position him to obstruct President Trump’s conservative agenda from within.
McConnell will now chair both the Senate Rules Committee and the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense—roles that could give him significant influence over key legislative priorities.
RINO McConnell wasted no time declaring his intentions.

Former FBI Director Andrew McCabe said the bureau would be endangered if Kash Patel, a former aide to President-elect Trump, is nominated and confirmed to lead the agency.
“No part of the FBI’s mission is safe with Kash Patel in any position of leadership in the FBI, and certainly not in the Deputy Director’s job,” McCabe told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Thursday evening, adding that “The scope of authority is enormous.” “If you enter into that position with nothing more than a desire to disrupt and destroy the organization, there is a lot of damage someone like Kash Patel could do,” he said.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston has declared his willingness to defy federal law and face jail time to protect illegal immigrants—including those with criminal records—from President-elect Donald Trump’s promised deportation efforts.
Johnston, who is doubling down on his sanctuary city agenda, openly encouraged protests and even civil disobedience, framing his resistance as a moral crusade.
During a recent interview with Denverite, Johnston unveiled his audacious plan to transform Denver into what he called a “fortress of resistance” against federal immigration efforts.
His strategy includes mobilizing Denver police officers and thousands of residents to form human barricades to block federal authorities from carrying out deportations.

A draft text released Friday from the environmental negotiators at the U.N.’s COP29 climate alarmism summit would demand that wealthy nations commit to gifting poorer countries $250 billion a year between now and 2035.
Climate activists responded to the proposed contribution with outrage, claiming the sum is “paltry” and “a joke.”
COP29 — formally the Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) — is the 19th edition of the U.N.’s official assembly to discuss how to globally address the alleged climate crisis. It is currently taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan, and scheduled to conclude on Friday, though the disagreements over the provisions in the outcome text

A California judge has permanently stripped Texas father Jeffrey Younger of all parental rights to his twin sons, James and Jude, granting Younger’s ex-wife, Anne Georgulas, the authority to chemically and surgically transition their 12-year-old son, James, against his father’s wishes.(Photo) Younger, whose ex-wife, a pediatrician, began transitioning their son to a girl at just two and a half years old, has fought tooth and nail to protect his child. Despite video evidence supporting his concerns, courts in Texas and California have systematically stripped him of his parental rights.

Former President Clinton suggested Democrats need to find a better way to relate to people, as the party searches for answers amid Republicans securing control of the House, Senate and White House.
“Politics is the only business in which you can prove your authenticity by not knowing anything. You know, and I think that’s a problem, and we’ll pay for it unless we get over it, but that’s a problem for the Democrats too. We have to learn to talk to people in ways that they can relate to that explains that,” Clinton said in an interview airing this weekend on MSNBC’s “The Saturday Show with Jonathan Capehart.”

One of the most racist, anti-conservative talking liberal heads is at it again with the hateful rhetoric aimed at Trump supporters.
MSNBC’s Joy Reid claimed on Friday that people have a legitimate fear of MAGA supporters and do not feel “safe” around them in a doomsday video message. Reid told her fellow liberals they had a right to be scared of President-elect Donald Trump's cabinet choices. “He's put together a cabinet of horrors! People are afraid; they're not just mad because they lost an election,” she said.
Without giving a reason, Reid warned the small amount of viewers she had left that Republicans were going to “control everything.”

The nomination of former Florida AG Pam Bondi for the position of U.S. Attorney General is a big mistake; not for the corrupt background of Bondi that we presume President Trump is not aware of, but rather for the background of Pam Bondi the Deep Swamp is almost certainly aware of.
Within the background story of state AG corruption and unlawful activity, Pam Bondi is very easily leveraged, blackmailed and controlled.
I presume at this writing that President Donald Trump is completely unaware of what Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi did during her time in office.

Former President Bill Clinton bemoaned the presence of “zillions of new websites” in a Thursday interview with MSNBC host Jonathan Capehart, saying Democrats were “not even being heard” during the 2024 presidential campaign.
Former President Donald Trump secured the 270 electoral votes necessary to win the presidency early Nov. 6, while Republicans picked up four seats in the Senate and are projected to hold the House of Representatives. Clinton said Democrats were “not even being heard” in rural areas, saying he “tried to help.”“Politics is the only business in which you can prove your authenticity by not knowing anything. You know?

As North Carolina Hurricane Helene victims continue to struggle, FEMA reportedly refuses to deploy empty RV trailers to help them.
According to an unnamed N.C. lawmaker, FEMA has multiple empty RV trailers sitting in the N.C. town of Hickory — trailers that critics say could be used to provide housing to those who’ve lost their homes. [Tweet, video]
“Don’t use my name, but a constituent called me yesterday asking about all the FEMA housing units and trailers that are staged in Hickory,” the lawmaker wrote in a private message to Cassie Clark, an N.C. influencer.
“They’ve been there for a few weeks. I asked FEMA what they were

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) suggested in a recent interview that the DOJ staff is worried it will become a “law firm” for President-elect Trump during his second stint in the White House. His claim came shortly after Trump tapped former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi to lead the DOJ following former Rep. Matt Gaetz’s (R-Fla.) withdrawal from consideration. “So, she’s really presiding over the bureaucracy,” Raskin, the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, told MSNBC’s “Alex Wagner Tonight” in an interview Thursday. “That is where she will be the key transmission belt between Donald Trump’s orders and then making the bureaucracy move.”

President Joe Biden, a “devout” Catholic, awarded the highest civilian honor a person can receive to a woman who has the blood of more than four million unborn babies on her hands. The former president of Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards, was given the presidential medal of freedom for her “absolute courage” and “fearless[ness],” who Biden says has “carved an inspiring legacy.” Richards, the daughter of late Democrat Texas governor Ann Richards, spent 12 years working as Planned Parenthood’s chief.
