Donald Trump could be set to launch one of the biggest crackdowns on unhealthy eating in American history.
Despite being the biggest fast food lover to ever be elected president, a doctor tipped to play a key advisory role in the incoming administration claims that won't stop him attempting to change US diets for the better.
Dr Aseem Malhotra is a British cardiologist who has appeared on podcasts with Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson and has close ties to Robert F Kennedy Junior.

People got sick and died long before fast food. I voted but not for anyone to tell me what to eat. So back off.

There's nothing wrong with burgers and pizzas. Learn how to make your own and they will taste better and be better for you.

I like fast foods. But I do not eat fast foods every day! And neither does PRESIDENT Trump!
My hope is that KENNEDY And whom ever is picked to work on the nations health, stops before it starts, putting that bio weapon in our food supply.
Also get that fluoride out of our water. Let’s get back to common sense when it comes to our health.
But on Jan 20, I will be eating McDonalds. With my glass of bubbly to celebrate!

A lie right out in the first paragraph. Apparently Conner wasn't 't alive when Clinton was hogging down other peoples fast food on a routine basis while out jogging.
And let's follow the science. Show the studies that link fast food, high calorie diets to immorality?
And last, I will never ever listen or take the advise from a 'former UK goobernment adviser'. If you want it wrong, listen to a goobernment advisor.

From the article: "He wants to ban burgers, pizzas and other high calorie food from schools and hospitals and impose a 'fat tax' on the unhealthiest snacks, such as candy and ice cream."
Did you read a different paragraph than me? It is saying that it won't be offered in schools or hospitals. It is not a mandate or regulation. It is talking about places like schools and hospitals where choices could be healthier. . .

Fast food is a target because of RCO.
Never heard of it?
Normal. They don't want you to know.
Frequently Reheated Cooking Oils might as well be arsenic.
The large consumption of RCO has been associated with a number of malignancies,
including lung, colorectal, breast, and prostate cancers.
Just the fumes are dangerous.

Provide information to people, but do NOT force dietary changes by laws. That is just more big government 'helping me' and I've already had enough big government help.
He apparently is aware of the deaths of young people due to the mRNA shots, and if he makes that well known, that it a good thing.

I am all for the MAGA agenda, but I have some concerns. I worry that missteps by DJT and Co. may cause the ship of freedom and change to scuttle. Now that we have a mandate, let's not cut off our noses to spite our faces.

My lord, #6, hospital food is generally dreadful. Most people aren’t in the hospital because they can’t handle eating a Big Mac, yet they’re captive to bland if not disgusting meals. Unless the patient has a medical contraindication, bring on the comfort food!

Cut down on heart disease? I used to have severely clogged arteries. I had two choices: I could let surgeons cut me open or I could take an oral chelation supplement. Guess which choice I made? On the other hand, I had two friends who opted for the surgery. One was 67 and the other 38. Both of them died two years after their surgeries. I'm still alive 11 years after I cleaned out my arteries. The story here is that mainstream medicine is often not the best choice.

Re #13, I recently spent 20 days in the hospital, and their food was absolutely aweful. My wife had spent 21 days in a different hospital, same town, last year, with excellent food.
I then moved to a skilled nursing facility for two and a half months. 95% of their food was as good as the Golden Corral type of cafeteria sort of place, IMO, pretty decent food, others with more delicate tastes may just retch at the thought. I disagree greatly with the "hospital food all sucks" folks, which usually means little or no contact with actual hospital food.
It depends VERY MUCH on which hospital. Overland Park Regional......guys, you really, REALLY need a new cook.

We don't need any former British politicians trying to impose the One World model on us. A tax on fast food would seem to favor more expensive restaurants, most of which sell equally unhealthful food.
So, food containing more than five ingredients is over-processed? That is arbitrary. Any good home cook will prepare healthful dishes from all over the world containing more than five ingredients: lentil soup, minestrone, caldo verde, briami, chicken & dumplings.
Don't tell us what to do. Get the information out there and we will decide.
