New Yorkers aren’t letting Whoopi Goldberg’s sourpuss act spoil their favorite spot for sweet treats, after she put a local bakery on blast on national TV, alleging they refused to serve her because of her lefty political beliefs. “I think it’s ridiculous. Why would she come all the way to Staten Island for her cupcake? To make an issue? They’ve been here forever,” Deborah Bernaz, 68, said of the comic’s claims against the beloved 145-year-old Holtermann’s Bakery on Staten Island. “I don’t think it has anything to do with politics. They’re a little Staten Island bakery. I think it’s bulls–t what she’s saying. Leave politics out of the bakery,”

Comments:

They should sue her butt for this. Glad to see locals and non-locals actively supporting this bakery!!

I’m so glad to see the support the bakery owner got. More bad publicity for The View and the elitist entitled behavior of the ignorant shrews who have already repulsed millions of people. Goldberg thought nothing of trying to destroy this small business for not deferring to her Lordship in the way that she expected. The blowback on this colossal blunder is beautiful to behold.

There is a difference between "working" and being "working class". Elon Musk "works" but he isn't "working class" and neither are Whoopi or any of The View hosts. Of course, since she is a Leftist, she gets to make up labels that suit her needs. Now if the bakery refused to serve her because she was obnoxious, I would believe that, but she wouldn't get any sympathy for that. Whoopi is taking a cheap shot because she is a lousy person and she is picking on people to burn off her "mad".

While obvious examples of white versus black racism in public are (quite properly) condemned by everyone who is a decent human being, the Joy Reid or Al Sharpton type of black versus white racism has been ignored or winked at, especially in the left-dominated Legacy Media. I believe that time is coming to an end, as it should. When I was 18, standing up for a fellow competitor with darker skin than mine being taunted by two klansmen in street clothes, I risked being killed in front of a lot of people. Today, I would do exactly the same because my friends are still dear to me. No one should be hated for his outer covering. It's the inside that matters. God looks on the inside. So should we.

A bizarre attack on the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence in Washington DC earlier this year was like “an emotional buzzsaw,” as she pushed for the perpetrators to get the “maximum possible sentence,” according to America’s archivist. Despite commanding an $824 billion 2024 budget — funded entirely by hardworking American taxpayers — the Pentagon remains unable to account for vast sums of money. The Pentagon began its first-ever agency-wide financial audit in 2017. This marked the beginning of a process that had been sought, promised, and delayed for years. Since undertaking this initial audit, the Pentagon has consistently failed to pass its subsequent audits, the first of which failed in 2018. Out of the 28 entities audited this year, only 9 received clean opinions, while 15 received disclaimers —
