Eight people are going on trial in Paris on terrorism charges Monday over the beheading of teacher Samuel Paty, who was killed by an Islamic extremist after showing caricatures of Islam’s prophet to his middle school students for a lesson on freedom of expression. Paty’s shocking death left an imprint on France, and several schools are now named after him. Paty was killed outside his school near Paris on Oct. 16, 2020, by an 18-year-old Russian of Chechen origin, who was shot to death by police.

Did Soros have anything to do with who the prosecutors are? If the answer is 'yes' the guilty won't be punished.

I would not like seeing cartoon caricatures of Jesus Christ. People make fun of him all the time. I don’t like it. However, people have a right to do it. That doesn’t mean they should die for expressing a point of view. I would say that Jesus died to give us grace.

It is good to watch and remember these things. Chechnya exports an especially brutal and psychotic group of Muslims but we have plenty of murderous ones also, here in the U.S.

I understand that French trials are different than us trials. Apparently, the facts of the case are established before the trial…the trial exists to determine consequences.

So, it's OK for Muslims to terrorize Jews in France but don't dare to say anything about the Muslims. Time for Europe to clean house like Orban is doing.

Every picture of a bearded Arab could be considered a caricature of mohammed. Every bearded rag-head walking the streets of the far east, and named mohammed, is a caricature of mohammed.

Same as No. 2. I don't like to see Jesus and Christianity mocked but many on the left have done it for years. Our Constitution allows it and it should be allowed. I wouldn't even consider attacking them or their property but I also have the right to criticize Islam. The difference is if I mock the "Prophet" , I am likely to actually be physically harmed or at least have my my property vandalized. I also realize that there a few on the right who can get violent but it's a tiny number compared to what the left regularly does. I never see Harri/Waltz signs pulled up or vandalized but it's common to see it happen to Trump signs. Put a Trump sticker on your car and there is a real chance of it getting keyed or worse. You can also find numerous clips of leftists going berserk when they see a MAGA cap nor have I seen anybody trying to murder a Republican candidate. It's the left that has a real propensity for violence when they see something that they don't agree with.

We were just in France. Lots of people are hoping Trump wins, maybe not in Paris but we spend little time there and prefer the smaller cities and countryside. The US is the Western power and now she is weak. Biden is a laughing stock. And Kamala is just seen as an extension of Biden. I mean people literally make fun of demented Biden over there. It is embarrassing. We spent 2 hours with a cab driver driving between cities as our train was not coming thanks to flooding. My husband speaks French and he and Freddy our cabbie had a long long talk about what the real average everyday French people want... they want a strong US with a strong leader who likes a prosperous West and peace! Freddy was so happy we were voting for Trump. He wishes France could elect their own President Trump. France has seen a huge influx in freeloading illegals and drugs/drug dealers... and the violence and poverty both bring. There was a nasty drug related mass shooting in Poitiers just a few days ago. Children injured. That is not something you saw in France 15 years ago. People all over the world are WORN OUT! MAGA must win!!

NEW: Missouri Sues DOJ Over Poll Monitors 10 replies

It's a contest between federal might and a state's right as we head into the waning hours of the 2024 election. The Department of Justice announced that it would be sending lawyers out to 86 polling locations in 27 states to monitor them on Tuesday. But some of those states are pushing back, including Missouri, which filed suit against the DOJ on Monday challenging the feds' right to have monitors in place. Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft on Monday filed a lawsuit against the Justice Department in an attempt to prevent federal officials from monitoring polling locations in St. Louis on Election Day.

It's hard to believe that we're just a few hours away from it officially being Election Day, but yes, we've finally made it to that point. In North Carolina, there has been a distinct buzz in the air on the Republican/conservative side since early voting started on October 17th, with GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's push for Republicans to take advantage of early voting spurring early vote numbers for the party not seen in previous election cycles. The difference was pronounced enough that it caused a full-blown panic for the Harris-Walz campaign, which was aware from past elections that early voting has typically been the strong suit for Democrats, not Republicans.

A Japanese nuclear reactor that restarted last week for the first time in more than 13 years after it had survived a massive 2011 earthquake and tsunami that badly damaged the nearby Fukushima nuclear plant was shut down again Monday due to an equipment problem, its operator said. The No. 2 reactor at the Onagawa nuclear power plant on Japan’s northern coast was put back online on Oct. 29 and had been expected to start generating power in early November. But it had to be shut down again five days after its restart due to a glitch that occurred Sunday in a device related to neutron data inside the reactor,

Any discussion among conservatives about the possibility of Kamala Harris winning the election quickly turns to voter fraud or polling problems like the under-sampling of Trump supporters. Those are both valid discussions but not the essence of the problem here. If a person goes to a surgeon needing both a cancerous tumor removed and a knee replacement, the patient doesn't opt for the knee replacement in the hope that the cancer will go away. Yes, things will be a lot better, but that tumor keeps on growing. At this point in American history, voter fraud is the bad knee and public education indoctrination is the cancer.

We have no doubt that, in the years to come, the media will describe the Biden-Harris administration as “scandal-free.” But that’s only because for the past four years they’ve vigorously ignored any and all scandals. Case in point is the $15 billion giveaway that Biden-Harris snuck through this summer without a single hearing, vote, or advance notice, in an attempt to buy seniors’ votes. Followed up by a campaign email to these same seniors on behalf of Kamala Harris, also paid for by taxpayers. Is any of this legal? Who cares, if it helps Harris win in November? At least, that’s how the mainstream press is treating this scandal. Here’s the background.

Some 8,000 North Korean soldiers are now in Russia near Ukraine’s border and are preparing to help the Kremlin fight against Ukrainian troops in the coming days, the Biden administration said Thursday. The new figure is a dramatic increase from a day earlier, when Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin would only say “some” of the troops had moved toward Ukraine’s border in the Kursk region, where Moscow’s forces have struggled to push back a Ukrainian incursion. That also would mean most of the North Korean troops that the U.S. and its allies say have been sent to Russia are now on the Russia-Ukraine border.

It is not my intention to provide black pills. However, we discuss events through the prism of what exists, what we can see and track, rather than what we pretend might be in place. Thus, today CTH fires a signal flare drawing attention away from precinct voting polling places, and toward tabulation centers. There is some alarming evidence beginning to surface pointing toward a shift in the USA election process, specifically the fundamentally changed process that now exists behind absentee balloting.
