Bishop Strickland reminds Catholics before
election that abortion is ‘pre-eminent’ issue

Original Article

If you remain unsure about the pre-eminent issue of life, as one shepherd, I implore you to finally face the truth that life is sacred from conception to natural death. Abortion is the violent murder of unborn children. No exceptions. As Catholics in this nation, we must stand for life, even if bishops aren’t strong or even contradict this truth. Our nation depends on it. The silence of the shepherds will not be pardoned, nor will the complicity of the sheep.

Comments:

Quotations: Pope Benedict: “Not all moral issues have the same moral weight as abortion and euthanasia. There may be legitimate diversity of opinion even among Catholics about waging war and applying the death penalty, but not... with regard to abortion and euthanasia.” Mother Teresa: “The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between.” Pastor Martin Luther: “You are not only responsible for what you say, but also for what you do not say.” Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer: “Silence in the face of evil is evil itself.”

Bishop, freedom is the issue. You can live in a communist state, where the people decide nothing, as under the Democrat Party. Or you can live in a constitutional republic, where the people decide, as under Trump. That is the issue in this election.

Bishop Strickland, allow me to re-align your priorities. Restoring the United State of America, as founded, is our main priority. Advocating for the unborn who want to live is imbedded within this priority.

As a Catholic I am pro-life but as an American if we lose this election we lose this country. Abortion or the end of it is not my priority position. The fact is abortion, or the ending of it is already lost. Abortion has been around a long time and like prostitution it will be around forever. If we outlawed it completely some women would go back to their coat hangers, and none of us want that. What we need is sensible abortion laws. Abortion up until birth is outright murder religion or no religion.

Jesus made it very clear what would happen to those who harmed innocent children. There will be an accounting one day over these millions of murders of the unborn.

Are Elected Republicans Ready To Respond
To Potential Post-Election Chaos?

One of the best ways to know what Democrats are up to is to simply check how they’re smearing their opponents. [Snip] Republican electeds better have an intelligent plan for post-election chaos...If any agitation occurs among any group that isn’t obviously allied with Democrats, it will certainly be pinned on Republicans and their voters and used to justify increasing the deployment of counterterrorism tools against half of Americans. [Snip] Leftist activists say that even Trump declaring victory on election night--a long-established American tradition only broken in 2020--constitutes an incitement to violence and could be “disinformation.”

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò just released his first feature-length book in which he “turns the table on Jorge Mario Bergoglio” and shares his side of his “excommunication” by the Vatican earlier the year. [Snip] A synopsis provided by the publisher for J’Accuse states that in the book His Excellency “presents a breathtaking examination of the Catholic Church’s fall from grace since Vatican II. [Snip] It continues, “The Vatican sought to silence Archbishop Viganò because of his strong denunciation of Bergoglio’s embrace of a New World Order ideology that His Excellency Archbishop Viganò has condemned as Satanic.”

County judge strikes down Ohio abortion

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The most far-reaching of Ohio’s laws restricting abortion was struck down on Thursday by a county judge who said last year’s voter-approved amendment enshrining reproductive rights renders the so-called heartbeat law unconstitutional. Enforcement of the 2019 law banning most abortions once cardiac activity is detected--as early as six weeks into pregnancy, before many women know they’re pregnant--had been paused pending the challenge before Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Christian Jenkins. [Snip] Yost’s office said it was reviewing the order and would decide within 30 days whether to appeal. “This is a very long, complicated decision covering many issues,

Viganò, who is a long-time supporter of Trump’s political candidacy, argued in his Tuesday letter that a vote for Trump “means firmly distancing ourselves from an anti-Catholic, anti-Christian, and anti-human vision of society” while at the same time noting “serious problems” with the former president’s declared positions on both abortion and “assisted procreation [IVF],” which he said “a Catholic cannot agree with.” [Snip] For a Catholic,...voting for Kamala Harris is morally inadmissible and constitutes a very grave sin. Nor is it morally possible to abstain, because in this war declaring oneself neutral means allying oneself with the enemy.

President Donald Trump said abortion exceptions are “very important” and he will “look at” the possibility of exempting religious organizations from his proposed in-vitro fertilization (IVF) insurance mandate during an interview last night with Raymond Arroyo. [Snip] The EWTN host asked Trump about claims he is now “pro-choice,” i.e., pro-abortion. [Snip] “No, no. I am like Ronald Reagan before me,” Trump said. “The exceptions are very important to me, and that’s the life of the mother, rape, and incest.” [Snip] ...“everybody” of all political stripes and “all legal scholars” wanted Roe v. Wade reversed, and the issue of abortion sent back to the states.

Ohio may no longer be a presidential battleground state but it does have one of the hottest U.S. Senate races in the country. U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, is seeking reelection against Republican Bernie Moreno, a Westlake businessman. [Snip] Democrats and the independents who caucus with them hold a 51 to 49 seat advantage in the Senate, but Republicans are expected to pick up one seat in West Virginia. That would create a 50-50 tie if all other seats remain in the hands of the party that now holds them, giving the majority to the party that wins the White House since the vice president breaks ties.
