Democrats, who were once optimistic about the candidacy of Vice President Kamala Harris, are now feeling extremely nervous about the party’s decision to push President Joe Biden to step aside. Harris won exactly zero Democrat primary votes before her coronation and held one of the lowest approval ratings as a vice president in U.S. history. Only after the establishment media began writing about Harris in a positive way did her standing among the electorate appear to rise.Everything is deadlocked and the composition of the electorate is unknowable, and there are so many things that are unprecedented,” said Jamal Simmons, a Democrat strategist who served as Harris’s communications director until last year.

Democratic strategist James Carville said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that he was “scared to death” about the election and that the Harris-Walz campaign needed to be “much more aggressive.”
Carville said, “The only thing I feel is the election is coming November 5, and I’m scared to death.”

Disneyland in California is hiking its ticket prices for its high-demand days on the tail of reports that Disney’s parks are seeing looming financial loss.
The Anaheim-based park will keep its entry-level ticket price of $104 a person, but tickets based on demand will rise between $7 and $12, which is up to a 6.5 percent increase, according to CNBC.
The park’s Magic Key annual pass is also going up, increasing between six percent and 20 percent — or between 100 and 125 dollars — depending on the pass.

An alleged intruder was shot twice with a shotgun by an El Cerrito, California, resident Tuesday mid-morning and survived to receive treatment for his injuries.
Contra Costa News identified the alleged intruder as 56-year-old William Nidever. He was “airlifted to a trauma center for treatment of his injuries.”
NBC Bay Area described Nidever as “a transient” and pointed out that the resident believed Nidever had a gun.
El Cerrito police noted, “The resident realized that Mr. Nidever was an unknown intruder and thought Mr. Nidever was armed with a weapon. …The resident feared for his life and shot at Mr. Nidever twice with a shotgun.”
