A new Fox News poll shows former President Trump in the lead against Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris by 1-point in the 2024 matchup.
Surveying 1,105 registered voters between August 9-12 with a sampling error of ±3 percentage points, the poll showed Trump ahead of Harris by one-point – 50 percent to 49 percent. She also trailed him by one-point last month – 49 percent to 48 percent. Per Fox News:
Between those two surveys, there was an assassination attempt on Trump, the Republican National Convention was held, Ohio Sen. JD Vance was chosen as Trump’s running mate, Biden dropped out and endorsed Harris, she was certified as the Democratic presidential nominee

Girlfriend doesn’t need any help, heaven knows. She’s enough of a disaster all on her own, but I’ve noticed something the last day or two that seems to indicate a purposeful strategy afoot on the order of Team Biden to kneecap Mizzzzz Harris. In order to see it we have to see both sides; first, Kamala’s: So, girlfriend doesn’t want to be burdened by what has been. She’d like to cast off her Biden yoke and be her own big girl, like this disaster never happened.
Ok.
But the Biden people appear to be clinging ever so tightly to Mizz Thang.

Proud Boys showed up at the park, some armed with shields and Antifa also showed up for a counter-protest dressed in black and ready for a fight. The situation quickly devolved into a riot and police had to clear the park. During that riot, Alizza Azar was filmed running toward a woman and spraying her with bear spray

Columbia University president Minouche Shafik has resigned from the elite institution, according to a report.
Shafik is stepping away after just one year at the helm, which was marked by constant — and sometimes destructive — anti-Israel protests, the Free Beacon reported.
The embattled president had been facing mounting calls to resign for months over her handling of the protests, which broke out following Hamas’ Oct. 7 invasion of Israel. She was accused of “gross negligence” while testifying before Congress after refusing to say whether the phrase “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” should be considered antisemitic.

The Secret Service is an agency besieged right now. What happened on July 13 that allowed former President Donald Trump to be shot in Butler, Pennsylvania? How was it that the rooftop overlooking the rally site was left unprotected? Congress wants answers. The American people deserve answers. And this agency has followed a protocol where these crucial questions remain on the table. Thomas Matthew Crooks nearly assassinated Donald Trump that day. And we have received numerous updates—all bad—about the total breakdown of the security situation at the rally.

Throughout her political career, Vice President Kamala Harris has taken time during speeches and public events to define events or issues that most people are already familiar with.
It's a strange phenomenon that's now following Harris as she hits the 2024 presidential campaign trail in the place of Joe Biden, who spectacularly dropped out of the race last month.
Harris has a unique style of dumbing down her answers to the point they become more confusing to the general public and often throwing in an awkward laugh.

If you're watching the polls, you've likely seen that Kamala Harris has been ahead in nearly all of them for the past week or so. We expected Kamala to have a "honeymoon period" upon becoming the presumptive nominee for her party, so in many ways, it wasn't exactly a surprise to see that polls tightened.
However, if you're on Team Kamala, you were probably hoping for a larger lead in the polls than the 1.1-point advantage she currently has in the RealClearPolitics average. A new poll conducted by J.L. Partners for DailyMail.com suggests that the honeymoon is ending.
According to the poll, which surveyed 1,001 likely voters, Trump still

Vice President Kamala Harris’s effort to steer voter attention away from her radical policy positions — with the help of media allies — is working to keep even sizable majorities of Democrats and independent voters are in the dark about what she supports.
The results of a new survey of her top 10 most controversial stands shows that her new supporters in her bid for president are unclear and mostly wrong about her.
From a pool of 1,200 Democrats and independents, 71%-86% said that they “either had not heard of Harris’s position or were unsure,” according to the survey for the Media Research Center, the center-right media watchdog.

First, the agency released the document after Joe Biden announced he would not seek reelection, underscoring concerns among Republicans that the Biden administration covered up Hunter’s foreign business dealings that enriched the Biden family while Joe Biden was vice president.

Is anyone awake at Google? Kamala Harris’ team has been tinkering with the search results, editing ads from major publications to make it seem like major outlets are supporting the vice president’s campaign. It’s another example of bias we’re used to, though not deployed in such a brazen and craven way. This event serves as another reminder that the Democrat media complex exists, and it’s working to stifle the will of the people. The other question is if this operation was confident in the vice president’s abilities, why are they tilting the scales like this? In a move critics say is designed to shield the Biden-Harris administration from election fallout, the administration has leveraged taxpayer funds to mask upcoming increases in Medicare premiums. Under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which was intended to cap out-of-pocket drug costs for Medicare beneficiaries, insurers are poised to significantly hike monthly premiums, with average bids for Part D plans expected to triple by 2025.
In response to potential voter backlash, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rolled out a three-year "demonstration project" to subsidize these premiums, aiming to keep them artificially low.

In his 17-month stint as UF president, Ben Sasse more than tripled his office’s spending, directing millions in university funds into secretive consulting contracts and high-paying positions for his GOP allies.
Sasse ballooned spending under the president’s office to $17.3 million in his first year in office — up from $5.6 million in former UF President Kent Fuchs’ last year, according to publicly available administrative budget data.
A majority of the spending surge was driven by lucrative contracts with big-name consulting firms and high-salaried, remote positions for Sasse’s former U.S. Senate staff and Republican officials.

The best definition of ‘valor’ I have come across is ‘strength of mind in regard to danger, that quality which enables a man to encounter danger with firmness and courage.’ Reading of vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz and his stolen valor made me think of my father’s service during WWII and, to a lesser extent, my own some thirty years later.
My dad, like a great number of young men, was drafted into the military in early 1942. Was spending the next three and a half years in the jungles of the Pacific fighting the Japanese the way he would have preferred to spend that time?

With Kamala Harris becoming a rock star by inviting rock stars to open her act, it’s clear she’s focused on generating excitement through pure fluff. But whereas Harris captures headlines with showmanship, Donald Trump has an opportunity to resonate deeply with a far more substantial and often overlooked voting bloc: those who have paid into the Social Security system. If Trump zeroes in on this group, he can unlock a political goldmine that could propel him back into the White House.
In what even the New York Times admits could be a game-changer, Trump has proposed ending income taxes on Social Security benefits.

The journey from the Ukrainian city of Sumy to the Russian border is short. In about three-quarters of an hour it is possible to arrive at a smashed-up Ukrainian border post and stare over two simple lines of fencing into Russian fields to the right. Except the territory The Sudzha crossing is now 5 miles or so from the current frontline inside Russia’s Kursk oblast. For now at least, it remains very much in Ukrainian hands a full week into the border incursion; on a brief visit what could be heard were the pops of outgoing artillery, not the crumps of incoming shells.

Maybe it’s a tie for first, but can we discuss these traitors who claim to be Reagan Republicans or conservative Republicans and then try and justify their support for Kamala Harris?

Remember when the Politico story first hit about the stupid leaking from inside the Trump campaign and I said, “they got nothing.”
Politico sat on the story for 19-days while they talked to the leaker and reviewed the information they were sharing. That’s how you know there was nothing in the leaked files from the “Trump insider.” Because if there was anything damaging, it would be 24/7 publishing with hundreds of stories about it.
However, with nothing of value coming from the DHS leak to Politico, the Associated Press now spins the story to proclaim the magnanimity of the media for not reporting on “hacked” documents. Too Funny!

“Make no mistake, violent crime was up under Donald Trump,” Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz warned in his first speech as Kamala Harris’ running mate.
“If you look this up at home,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg claimed last month, “you will know that crime went down under Biden and crime went up under Trump. Why would America want to go back to the higher crime we experienced under Donald Trump?”
But the opposite is true: Between 2016 and 2020, violent crime fell by 17% under Trump — and soared by 43% under Biden between 2020 and 2022.
Of course, news outlets routinely assert that Americans are mistaken in believing that violent crime is rising.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign team has been silently editing news headlines in Google search results to make it seem like major news outlets are on her side, according to a report.
The altered headlines — all paired with a “Paid for by Harris for President” banner — were changed without the news outlets’ knowledge, Axios reported Tuesday.
Nearly a dozen publishers were swept up in the faux headline campaign, including major companies like The Guardian, Reuters, CBS News, The Associated Press and PBS.

Tampon Tim, Low-T(estosterone) Tim, call him what you want, is the face of a big, fat, middle-aged, sweaty-palmed, pervert groomer. (snip) But, according to a new opinion column by Francis Wilkinson and published by Bloomberg on Friday, Walz is a “manly man” defined by traditional “masculinity,” and it is these characteristics that are “terrifying” to the MAGA voters:
Tim Walz’s Masculinity Is Terrifying to Republicans
Kamala Harris’ running mate has traditional ‘manly man’ traits. He’s also not frightened of women, afraid of Black people or terrified of the future.

Any liberal Democrat whose resume includes football coach, military veteran and sharp-shooting hunter is a challenge to MAGA mythology, "

Rep. Ilhan Omar has secured victory in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District.
The Associated Press has declared Ilhan Omar the winner of the Democrat primary.
Ilhan Omar saw an increase of 9,841 votes compared to the previous election. (Snip) WATCH: (X Video) According to her opponent, Don Samuels, “In her 6-year tenure, only two bills she’s written and sponsored have become law – both renamed post offices. She can’t run on her achievements, so she has to use fear to win.”

LOS ANGELES, California — Anti-Israel radicals blocked L.A.’s 405 freeway, the country’s busiest, on Tuesday morning to demand an end to U.S. support for Israel, as Israel battles Hamas terrorists who still hold 115 innocent hostages.
The Los Angeles Daily News reported:
A group of protesters calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war and an end to U.S. military support of Israel marched onto the southbound 405 Freeway in West Los Angeles Tuesday, halting traffic and creating a miles-long backup at the tail end of the morning rush hour.
The protesters, organized in part by the group IfNotNow Los Angeles, walked onto the freeway
