The Boston People's Reparations Commission has demanded the city invest $15 billion in slavery reparations for the Black Bostonian community.
Over 200 members of the community gathered at a Commission meeting at the Bolling Building in Nubian Square on Saturday.
They discussed what reparations mean to them and reiterated their demand for $15billion to be invested 'monetarily and through public policy that will be in effect for Black Bostonians for generations'.Head of the Commission Reverend Kevin Peterson told WCVB even though the group is asking for $15billion, it is 'not enough' as 'every life is incalculable.'

You get what you pay for, and if you are going to play along with the victimhood and fake race baiting, you should lose every dollar to the mob. The slavers are long dead. Meanwhile, a lot of non-whites are committing heinous crimes right now. If anyone is owed money start with the Polar Bear victims and then every other victim of urban folks crimes.

I would support paying any slaves still living. Everyone individual who thinks the whites owe them for the ancestors slavery, should go out and get jobs, and stop looking for quick bucks.

Any church that goes along with this extortion should cease to exist. The loving tithes that were made over the decades will be wasted. Why would anyone give to such a wasteful congregation? The church, which has been probably heading in this direction like other Main Line congregations, should be converted into an apartment building or a museum.

It was the New England states that pressured Lincoln to issue the Emancipation Proclamation, plus the New England states assembled the first black regiments for the Union army. I guess these idiots never heard of the 54th Mass. Regiment.

"Local white churches"? What does that mean? Does it mean that "non-whites" are excluded? Or what?
And where are the "local white churches" getting the money?

Can we be exempt if we had a white relative who fought for the North during the Civil War?

Insanity. We own them NOTHING, nothing whatsoever. In fact, for the massive crime wave that they have inflicted on the rest of us, a tiny 1/8th minority doing 60-80% of violent crime, they should be paying US.

Show me one, just one, only one person still alive, who could now be affected by the national disgrace of Slavery. Native Americans, Scots and Irish descendants have suffered too, but never as much as the Jews since recorded history.

It doesn't hurt to ask, somebody is always stupid enough to go along with it. "White churches" have caused us a lot of problems lately, like mass illegal immigration, so they can pay if they like. I will not be donating.

The State of Massachusetts abolished slavery in 1783. That's the same year the Revolutionary War ended with a treaty signed in Paris between the Americans, the French, and the British.

I believe I read that the Mayor of Boston had a Christmas dinner last year - 2023 - where only people of color were invited to the dinner. No white people allowed. (I think that is called racism - - against whites.) Just how many white people were killed to free the slaves in the Civil War? Of course, History, is another subject that is no longer taught in the public schools. Read also that scores of children graduate from our inner-city schools without skills in reading, writing and math.
Parents whose children graduate from public schools without learning those three basic skills should seek reparations from their educational systems and their teachers' unions. Always go the source of the problem. The reparations should be paid by those who shirk their responsibilities, not by people who struggle to live, and have never met a slave.
I hope none of the churches who are discussing offering $50 million for 'reparations' are not those who have had to close because they can no longer afford upkeep on them.

People still don't get it. Every sick liberal blames America while slavery was practiced all over the world long before America was even founded. Another fallacy is that blacks were sold into slavery. The fact is, they were slaves before they were sold. The sad fact is, blacks have regressed under the rule of democrats. Look at every democratic run city and you will find that over 60% of black students are failing out of high school. They were getting a better education over 50 years ago. Sad fact is, most of those cities are run by black elected officials who can't even take care of their own and have failed miserably. Got it.

They didn't have slaves in Boston. Blacks are there because they want to be. Knock it off. What's wrong with the state to even listen to them.

If $15 billion is not enough, and nothing is ever going to be enough, then these people should get nothing. The level of dissatisfaction would be the same. I think I first heard this idea from D'Nesh D'Souza.
No one should be held responsible for the sins of their ancestors.
