Radical anti-Israel activists told Columbia students, “There is nothing wrong with being a fighter in Hamas” — weeks before the campus exploded in pro-Palestinian protests.
In a two-hour tirade to the hardest core of anti-Israeli activists at Columbia and its sister college, Barnard, Charlotte Kates, international coordinator of Samidoun, the Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, said, “These are the people who are on the front lines defending Palestine and fighting for its liberation.”
Kates — who was referring to a terrorist organization responsible for the mass murder of hundreds of Israelis on October 7 — and her husband, Khaled Barakat,

President Biden, in his latest gaffe on the campaign trail, on Tuesday questioned the number of times former President Donald Trump needed to prove that “we” can’t be trusted.
“Folks, in a sense, I don’t know why we’re surprised by Trump,” Biden said during a stop in Florida. “How many times does he have to prove we can’t be trusted?”
The 81-year-old was slamming his Republican opponent for the repeal of women’s reproductive and health care rights across the country in the wake of the overturning of Roe v. Wade when he slipped on his words.

With news about the White House's collusion with prosecutors in the slew of trials thrown at President Trump as he campaigns for re-election, it's natural to think that Joe Biden and his mentor, Barack Obama, are mainly interested in knocking him out of the race before anyone can get a chance to vote for him.
Obama, after all, got his start in politics by doing just that. No one can say that Obama doesn't know the Chicago Way.
But while this activity is natural for Obama, Joe Biden looks more like a sitting duck, an unwitting boob, a goose, slowly being fattened for the Christmas dinner.

We're going to broaden the definition of "campus protesters" today. In yesterday's Briefing, I was mostly referring to the student mobs who have been making all of the anti-Israel noise and trouble on campuses all over America. We can't forget the adults in Academia who are paid handsomely to indoctrinate the kids and saddle them with such crippling ignorance, however. What we're seeing is the product of decades of pumping impressionable minds full of, to borrow a leftist word, misinformation.
Or lies, for those of us who don't always need to be polysyllabic.

The Supreme Court made its presence felt in a big way.
Democrats are going to hate the latest decision.
And this massive Supreme Court ruling will have Donald Trump jumping for joy. Even cases that don’t appear to involve Donald Trump end up involving Donald Trump.
The Supreme Court acted on behalf of sanity and the safety of children by allowing an Idaho law banning transgender surgeries for minor children to go into effect.
Back in December, a lower court issued a stay blocking the law, but the Supreme Court overruled that decision.

The U.S. Justice Department announced a $138.7 million settlement Tuesday with more than 100 people who accused the FBI of grossly mishandling allegations of sexual assault against Larry Nassar in 2015 and 2016, a critical time gap that allowed the sports doctor to continue to prey on victims before his arrest.
When combined with other settlements, $1 billion now has been set aside by various organizations to compensate hundreds of women who said Nassar assaulted them under the guise of treatment for sports injuries.

This is more than a little interesting and aligns with my own research and discussions. House Speaker Mike Johnson was lobbied by former CIA Director Mike Pompeo and current officials from the CIA, DNI and Intelligence Community.
This effort and his son starting at the Naval Academy is what changed Johnson’s mind about allowing the U.S. intelligence community to have his full support in the IC war against the American people. The speaker’s embrace of Ukraine aid represents a remarkable evolution for Johnson, who voted against funding for the country as a rank-and-file member. But almost immediately after securing the speaker’s gavel,

President Joe Biden is pressing on with his scheduled trip to Syracuse, New York, despite pushback from law enforcement who are grieving the loss of fellow officers in the line of duty.
Biden is set to travel to the city on Thursday to promote the CHIPS and Science Act and announce a grant delivered by the legislation, according to CNY Central News. The president opted not to delay the trip following the loss Syracuse Police Officer Michael Jensen and Onondaga County Lt. Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Hoosock in the line of duty on April 14 during a shootout.

The head of Israel’s military intelligence directorate resigned on Monday over the failures surrounding Hamas’ unprecedented Oct. 7 attack, the military said, becoming the first senior figure to step down over his role in the deadliest assault in Israel’s history.
Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva’s resignation sets the stage for what’s expected to be more fallout from Israel’s top security brass over Hamas’ attack, when militants blasted through Israel’s border defenses, rampaged through Israeli communities unchallenged for hours and killed 1,200 people, most civilians, while taking roughly 250 hostages into Gaza.

It’s a picture-perfect Autumn Sunday Morning, the kind that makes Rio de Janeiro one of the most celebrated cities in the world, the ‘Cidade Maravilhosa’ (City of Wonders).
On a day like that, it’s no wonder that people would flock to the beach.
But today, many people are not going to the famed Copacabana to be lazing on a Sunday morning; instead, they are gathering in yet another MASS demonstration against the socialist tyranny, in defense of democracy and in support of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.

Joe Biden already turned over the Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan to Taliban terrorists in September 2021.
Biden abandoned Afghanistan’s Bagram Airfield after nearly 20 years in July by shutting off the electricity and slipping away in the night without notifying the base’s Afghan commander, who discovered the Americans’ secret departure more than two hours after they left.
The Taliban quickly took control of Bagram Air Base, which is only 30 miles north of Kabul, on August 15th and released thousands of terrorists held at its prison. The Americans and Afghans left the Taliban military equipment, uniforms, rations and even sports drinks.

I’m old enough to remember the 1968 DNC convention in Chicago, and smart enough to see that Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is no Richard J. Daley. So, as food prices rise with no end in sight, I advise you to stock up on popcorn before the August 19 convention in Chicago this year. As for the Democrats, I cannot imagine a scenario where there is anything but downsides for picking this site, this year. In case you forgot, the 1968 convention began with ominous foreboding. True, the mayor had done everything he could to prettify the city, including screening the stockyards with redwood fences,
