Key Democrats revealed new legislation Friday that would strip former President Donald Trump of his Secret Service agents if he is convicted and sentenced to prison. Rep. Bennie G. Thompson, the top Democrat on the House Homeland Security Committee, said it’s about making sure Mr. Trump doesn’t get special treatment for whatever crime he might be sentenced. He is worried that having to accommodate a Secret Service protective detail could lead to accommodations for a former president.

The House of Representatives overwhelmingly advanced the globalist foreign aid bill in a critical rule vote, seemingly putting the legislation on an easy glide to passage.[Snip] More Democrats (165) voted for the rule than Republicans. Still, a huge majority of GOPers voted to put America last. As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, the bill delivers $95 billion in foreign aid to Ukraine, Gaza, Israel, and Taiwan, with the bulk of it ($60.84 billion) going to the Ukraine sinkhole.

Hollywood star Michael Douglas said playing Benjamin Franklin when the Founding Father was 70 is giving him hope that 81-year-old President Joe Biden isn’t too old to serve another term.[Snip] “I was immediately struck. Like, 70 years old—in England or in America in 1800, the average lifespan was 39 years old. I think it gave me great faith in Joe Biden, and was a reminder that we can go on a lot longer than we thought,” the actor said. His comments come amid widespread concern on both sides of the political divide that Biden is too old to be president.

Joe Biden left for his beach house in Delaware on Friday, despite the threat of a potential attack on Israel by Iran hanging out in the wind. Before he left, his last public comment was to warn Iran, "Don't," then saying we would stand with Israel.[Snip] Now, it sounds like something may be up, because suddenly the word is that he's coming back to D.C. "White House says President Biden is returning to the White House from Rehoboth Beach, Del. this afternoon to consult with his national security team about events in the Middle East," Fox's Lucas Tomlinson announced.
Bloomberg's Jennifer Jacobs confirmed it, and said it was to "monitor" events.

Some things are sacred. Christmas. Easter. The Final Four. And, of course, Scrabble.[Snip] Scrabble, like Monopoly, Chess, and Poker, brings out the killer instincts in all of us. As the baddest predators on the block, we need to keep our skills and our canines sharp—as Grandma did. Gen Z, though, is filled with a bunch of socialists who believe that competition is the next worst thing to settler colonialism, so Mattel is dumbing down the game to appeal to people with the attention span of a gnat and the competitive instincts of a sloth.

Within hours of the massacre carried out by Hamas on October 7th, American-based activists took to the streets to decry Israel's response.[Snip]Meanwhile, normal people have been sitting around in disbelief, waiting for someone to enforce the rules against these entitled brats. Finally, on a sunny Friday in California, someone did. That someone is Pomona College President Gabrielle Starr. After a group of pro-Hamas protesters trespassed into an administrative building, she showed up, and she wasn't there to hand out cookies. Instead, she gave them an ultimatum. More importantly, she followed through on it.

Federal Judge Aileen Cannon issued an order Monday for lawyers to submit instructions for a trial jury in former President Donald Trump’s classified documents case – signaling that the debate over whether Trump had the authority to keep documents from his White House could remain a central issue of the case, which could help him at trial.[Snip] Cannon asked both the Justice Department and defense team to contemplate how a jury could be told to weigh the criminal law around national security records if Trump could say the PRA gave him authority to keep documents he chose. The Justice Department maintains his charges have nothing to do with the PRA and are about what happened after the presidency:

The murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley has inspired a local pizzeria owner to run for office. Sidney Anne Waters, who owns Mama Sid’s Pizza, is running for a slot on the Athens-Clarke County Commission because of Riley’s death — and the illegal immigrant who’s been arrested in connection with the brutal slaying.[Snip] “Everybody is quite concerned because we have discovered that our local government is not transparent with us… They have resolutions and agreements going that the public had no idea about,” Waters said.[Snip]“He [Mayor Girtz]personally petitioned the US State Department for us to become a refugee resettlement site. A Connecticut school choir is singing a political song about weather, and it doesn't concern climate change. Rather, the subject is social justice's most iconic figure. According to Campus Reform, New Fairfield High has been rehearsing for an important New York performance. To be belted: "Weather: Stand the Storm." The tempestuous title regards the torrential downpour of chaos that occurred in 2020, ignited by the late George Floyd's pivotal plight on May 25th in Minneapolis. The song -- which is part of a larger work -- began as a poem penned by Claudia Rankine, co-founder of the Racial Imaginary Institute.

Chinese government documents and restricted military journals show how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is using social media like TikTok and Hollywood to target vulnerable young consumers and tear at the fabric of American culture, according to Peter Schweizer’s new book: Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans.“The Chinese military and Communist Party officials have thought deeply and written extensively about waging ‘cognitive warfare’ on the United States. The CCP sees apps such as TikTok, video games, and movies as powerful weapons to wage psychological warfare against the West,” Schweizer writes.
