Mass Deportations Would Lower Housing Prices

Original Article

Housing prices are out of control. As any economist will tell you, there are two ways to bring the price of a good down: increase the supply or reduce the demand. Building houses—increasing the supply—is a complex and relatively difficult business. It requires time, labor, materials, and expertise. It is also environmentally taxing. Building lots of houses in quick succession can easily lead to urban sprawl, congestion, and unaesthetic cookie-cutter suburbs stretched out to the horizon. Residents of Dallas-Fort Worth know exactly what I’m talking about. But there is, of course, another way to reduce the cost of housing in America—we could reduce demand.

Couple of things. If all these illegal aliens, migrants, newcomers whatever you call them, are able to cross the Rio Grande and shazaam, buy a house, then why are we spending billions to bus and fly them all around and rent out hundreds of entire hotels with food and services? Sounds like they got enough loot to take care of themselves. And, aren't we all complaining that housing is getting unaffordable. Gosh, some folks would complain if you hanged them with a new rope.

What makes you think mass deportations are going to happen? Those illegals are here to stay. Washington has absolutely no intention of fixing this. Trump will fix it? Washington will block him. They have done it before.

It's in the best interest of the United States and the American people to deport anyone who came here illegally. No need to apologize or feel sad. We were treated badly by this administration, from name calling and character assassination aimed at Trump supporters from the White House, to Biden's irresponsible importing of ten million impoverished and ungrateful foreign nationals. We are under no obligation to accept Biden's unvetted "guests" as OUR guests. We have no duty to live with that burden. No doubt the thinking among the corruptocrats was that it's "easier to ask for forgiveness than ask permission." But I'm guessing they were wrong. Ten million ungrateful illegal aliens with a massive sense of entitlement, and the loss of American lives because of imported criminal behavior was irresponsible and deserves no "forgiveness." Politicians behind this travesty deserves shame, and banishment from their offices. They let us down. On purpose. The politicians should be begging US to forgive THEM, but they don't deserve it. They made a mess for all of us. Kick them to the curb, vote in some trustworthy patriots in November, and let's fumigate both houses of Congress. Let's give ourselves something to look forward to....for a change.

In the very long term yes. But the Biden spike hasn't effectively become a practical part of the current demand. The demand they represent now is for hotel space, abandoned business properties that citizens have been taxed out of, tents, parks. Sending them all home today won't move the needle in any appreciable way because the effect they would eventually have hasn't been felt yet. Just a quick first thought reaction.

President Joe Biden said Wednesday that his "Uncle Brosie" may have been eaten by cannibals on the Australian island of New Guinea during World War II. Biden made the comments to the press around 12:05 p.m. Wednesday at Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport in Avoca, Pennsylvania, before departing for Pittsburgh to speak to union steelworkers and make an election pitch that includes tripling tariffs on Chinese steel and aluminum to protect American producers. On Tuesday, the president visited Scranton and pitched a new tax plan he said would benefit middle-class American families. He later visited his childhood home before speaking at the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local Union 445.

Joe Biden is out in Pennsylvania saying that Trump got rich the old-fashioned way: he inherited it. At least that is an honest way to get rich. Trump inherited money, and he took a massive amount of risk and created a huge number of jobs. Biden, on the other hand, got rich the same way a lot of politicians get rich. He used his powerful position in government and took his son around the world on government-paid transportation, collecting kickbacks from a number of adversaries, including Russia, Ukraine, and China. The only thing the Biden family had to sell was access to Joe.

Two friends of mine comment on the Obama/Biden administration’s bizarre partiality toward Iran. In the New York Post, Glenn Reynolds writes: Post-[Iran’s] attack [on Israel]— going further yet beyond parody — the Biden administration’s chief effort has been aimed at demanding Israel not retaliate. That’s right. Israel has had more than a thousand of its citizens raped, tortured, murdered and kidnapped, it’s been subjected to a massive missile attack, and it’s being told to exercise “restraint.” What other country in the world faces this sort of attack and is then told to exercise restraint? The Biden administration even organized G7 leaders to demand that Israel not respond. Is this ineptitude, or is it corruption?

There is nothing beneath the man. There is nothing he won't say or do to retain power. As we reported, while Joe Biden released a written statement on the attack by Iran on Israel with more than 200 missiles and drones, he hadn't made an official public statement on it before now. A lot has come out that is concerning about it, including the reports that Biden had a heads up from Iran that it was coming that he went on vacation anyway and also told them to act "within certain limits." They used slow-moving drones so that Israel and the U.S. could respond and interdict most of the attack. So it sounds like it was basically a show and a collaboration with Iran.

No, the nation will not survive if there isn't a reckoning for politicians overtly working against Americans. History is full of stories of oppressed people rising and overcoming the tyrants who have wronged them. Sometimes the stories end with the two sides peacefully agreeing to make changes. Other times it has ended in a one-way walk up the stairs to a guillotine. Romania's despotic communist leader, Nicolae Ceausescu, had his brains relocated to a brick wall after Romanians had enough of his tyranny.
