An academic group, Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC), obtained some alarming data. In over 200,000 cases, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) failed to file the proper paperwork with immigration courts in Houston, Texas and Miami, Florida. The illegal aliens were issued a Notice to Appear (NTA) at the border, which creates a court date. However, DHS never filed the paperwork with the court. The asylum process can't move forward without filing the proper paperwork with the court. The court date rolls around and the asylum-seeker shows up. The judge doesn't have the paperwork so the case is dismissed.

Simple solution, on several levels, of the multiple problems related to the overall Issues.
Send ALL of the Immigration Judges to the border, living in tents, working 12hrs on/8 hrs off courts running around the clock.
Mobilize additional Jag Corps if needed.
When the usual "Eventual determination" of 97% rejection of asylum claims happens immediately...and immediate deportation follows, the "Yearning Masses" will have to fall back regroup, or simply stay "Home".
Any "Newcomers" that show up at the other various dozens of immigration courts elsewhere? fly THEM to the border courts. Any "Newcomers arrested anywhere, for any reason that then needs an immigration determination? Fly THEM to the border courts.
The feather bedding Immigration judges who often hear only a couple of cases a day, or a week, or a MONTH? They can quit or get fired. Get replaced by people that will DO THE JOB.

Please tell me that the DHS isn’t doing this on purpose.

Sounds to me like they left a word out in the second sentence.
"Homeland Security (DHS) failed to" should read
"Homeland Security (DHS) DELIBERATELY failed to"

#7 Of course, it is. Just one step, but an important one, in the overall "process". It is important that the Notice to Appear is filled out and given to the illegal/migrant/newcomer for them to show if they come in contact with law enforcement once inside the country. It is literally their "Get Out of Jail Free Card". The only people who know the court date wasn't entered in the system is the issuing agent/agency. One of the main reasons I've seen cited in articles is the backlog in the Immigration Courts. They control the wait time for a court date by not adding new court cases. I guess its just the luck of the draw if an illegal/migrant/newcomer's case is actually scheduled. I imagine if one is and they don't show up, the court is relieved and moves on to the next case.
Now those that actually show up for their court date, I don't think I mind them staying. They were interested in being legally here. I imagine it was a disappointment for them to find out that they were not scheduled. So sad it was such a small percentage. The word must get around fast that the date is meaningless.

This must be the latest underhanded trick by Joey and his invasion cohorts - refuse to file the paperwork.

Any loophole, administrative backlog, or lack of Judges will be used as an excuse. I don’t know why this cabal even bothers to pretend to be doing its job. We all know the word comes down from on high to protect Joe’s open border policy. You do what you want to do and clearly Joe does not want to defend our sovereignty and has chosen an open border policy. The result American citizens will are suffering. Biden is the worst illegal President this country has ever had.

I'm betting that the IRS doesn't miss one "unpatriotic" taxpayer who still owes them a dime. They will gladly spend 47 cents to get it.

Another nail in the coffin of Sec. Mayorkas. He should be fired immediately for gross incompetence. If a business were run like this the government regulators would be shutting them down.

So who and how many get fired for not doing their jobs? More than one person was responsible for 200k - given how slow the government hires are it might be over 50k employees. Fire them all.

You didn't think our government would actually deport the illegals, did you? Illegals are being allowed free health care. Illegals are being allowed to carry guns. Illegals are being allowed to vote. Illegals are being allowed to apply for mortgages. Does this sound like our nation is actually going to deport them?

Just cancel all deportations by just ignoring the paperwork. There should be a lot of people to fire over this.

Next year, it will be ten times that, and in the next ten years, it will be a hundred times that.
And Congress will likely say "Oh well, might as well just make all twenty million of them full citizens."
