Kathy Hochul deploys National Guard to
conduct bag checks in NYC subway

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) and Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) are fighting back against crime in the New York City subway system by reinstating bag checks. Hochul announced Wednesday she is deploying 1,000 additional law enforcement officers to the subway, including 750 New York National Guard members and 250 members of law enforcement. Adams ordered an additional 1,000 law enforcement officials to patrol the subway in February after the city saw a 45% increase in crime in January compared to January of last year. “We know people feel unsafe,” Adams said. “We are reinstituting bag checks. There are several things we are reinstituting in the system.”

Too little, too late. It's going to be well nigh impossible to get the ferals back in their cages now. Crime and punishment...when you eliminate the punishment part, you get a complete breakdown of law and order. Now NYC is starting into what aircraft pilots call the "graveyard spiral" when a spin becomes unrecoverable. The big city Dems own this and even the low info voters are waking up. It's become a horrible scandal and an affront to decent people still hanging on in once great cities. It may be easy to say "stay and fight" but nobody wants to end up dead on the subway tracks or a downtown street. Rational people who have the means to leave are doing so and taking their tax base with them.

The thing is, what they intend to prevent is a Bernhard Goetz / Paul Kersey situation with this. If they REALLY wanted to stop the crime, they would get rid of their SOROS owned Attorney General and District attorneys, Replace them with real anti-thug prosecutors, and start arresting and prosecuting and punishing harshly, illegal aliens and homegrown thugs.

Why are military troops doing this? Anyway, if they catch someone with an canon in the Subway they will let him walk so why expend the effort. Fix the Courts and throw these criminals in jail and make them clean the streets everyday as part of their rehab. Once the word gets out that criminals will be punished perhaps the city will be more livable.

The Biden team has spoken out — rightly — against the use of TikTok and the danger that it can potentially pose. Joe Biden is now saying he will sign a bill to ban TikTok if the bill passes. They say that they are trying to discourage people from using it, but then in the next breath, they turn around and use it all over the place, while trying to push Biden's campaign among young people. So much for their principles. It's more hypocritical "rules for thee" from them. Do they not think people will look at that and wonder about the inconsistency?

After President Joe Biden said Saturday that Israel invading the Gazan city of Rafah, where many refugees from northern Gaza have relocated, would be a "red line" regarding America's support, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu replied that Israel will indeed invade Rafah because his own red line is "that October 7th doesn't happen again, never happens again." Netanyahu's remarks also come amid reports that the Biden administration is attempting regime change in Israel, and after Biden was caught in a hot mic moment after Thursday's State of the Union address saying that he was going to have a "come to Jesus" moment with "Bibi."

Sniveling former Bill Clinton henchman George Stephanopoulos’s attempt to shame Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) as a rape victim blew up in his face on ABC’s “This Week” Stephanopoulos started his interrogation Sunday by demanding to know why she endorsed President Trump after a corrupt leftist jury found him liable for defaming certified nut E.Jean Carroll (the Clinton crony said Trump was found “liable for rape”). Mace responded by going speaking briefly about her own dramatic rape experience at the age of 16 and blistered Stephanopoulos for daring to lecture her.

Texas governor Greg Abbott has turned the screw on the Biden administration by barring federal agents from one of the hottest flashpoints on the southern border. The White House was already demanding the Supreme Court allow it to rip down miles of razor wire the state government has strung across a 29-mile section of the border around Eagle Pass. Now the Texas National Guard has barred Border Patrol agents entirely from the 2.5-mile section of Shelby Park and defiantly stationed its military vehicles at the entrance to block access. 'That is not a decision that we agreed to,' Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas wrote as he reported the show of force on Facebook.
