American billionaires are selling stocks by the boatload - sparking fears of an impending financial disaster.
Jeff Bezos - the third-richest man behind Louis Vuitton's Bernard Arnaut and Elon Musk - unloaded $8.5billion in Amazon shares this month alone.
Mark Zuckerberg - the fourth-richest - sold about 1.4 million Meta shares worth roughly $638million. Jamie Dimon, chairman and CEO of JPMorgan, shilled $150 million this past week, in his first cash-out since taking the reins at the bank nearly two decades ago.
Within days, Apollo Global Management's Leon Black also enacted his first-ever sale, shedding $172.8million in his equity firm after 34 years. Walmart's Walton family sold $1.5billion in a week,

It's staggering to me but not to them. It's approaching the end of the quarter. Sell high, buy low. Do some tax harvesting.

Those guys are so rich that 11 billion is peanuts to them. This is possibly just more fear mongering. If I'd listened to every gloom and doom financial warning over the last 25 years I'd have put my money in the mattress and have nothing.

Selling stock by the buttload could be due to a number of reasons including buying back in if it causes a stock drop.

Scoff if you will... But they are also building massive underground bunkers for themselves in remote areas.

Maybe they’re worried Joe is going to be re-elected and get his new billionaire tax approved.

I have a close family member who sees things a long way off before they actually happen. We've been stockpiling food for months. We aren't preppers, but some things are just smart to do.

Maybe the Deep State is afraid that Dempanic 2.0 might not get the steal done. So they're planning on unleashing Black Friday 2.0.---This Time It's Digital! Or maybe just one of the several excellent scenarios posted above mine.

Pure guesswork and speculation. None of the experts have been accurate thus far with the unpredictable vegetable in the Oval.

The only possible good news here, might be that they fear Trump will be elected.

Looters. Probably the tip of the iceberg. They make the 7-11 smash and grabbers look like pikers in comparison. One has to ask why these people are so scared of Trump. What is Trump doing that makes them all go crazy sideways? These probably are the people driving all the anti-Trump sentiment.

Perhaps they’ve been getting their investment advice from Paul Krugman and they think that Trump is going to win.

And why is Zuckie constructing a billion-dollar survivalist bunker on his ranch on Kauai? And Bozo is doing something similar elsewhere.

People sometimes talk to us about SHTF. We live in the country with our own well. Have they thought of how to make an electric pump water? We'd dip out of a mud puddle and boil it if we had to. If they live on city water quick fill bathtubs and pots and pans out of water towers before they drain empty.
Water and medicines are a problem.

As for the underground bunkers referenced above,i would like to flag that for reasons we do not at this moment exactly appreciate, what our ancestors built was not bunkers but round towers with irregular slitty windows high up and with oddly low castellation if any. My theory is these are for big sandstorms and if so they were to be found from Ireland to Baku.
Also that in case of a sandstorm a bunker is your number one worst idea. #1. Worst-O.

about those bunkers again, please note there are cities drowned in sand in the Taklamakan Desert, latitude 38 and above. Please no bunkers. Not even my enemies. No bunkers. Sven Hedin was investigating those cities but he had to stop for war, and then the Chinese would not let him back, plus he had sympathized with Hitler. But... He was the expert on the lost cities of the Taklamakan. No bunkers. Sandstorms are bad and they can be very big. Forgotten now. Possibly to be remembered again soon. please prepare yoursel f a high slitty tower.

No big deal. Tax rates are likely to rise next year. And when you are immensely rich but the wealth is concentrated then diversifying is sensible; increase your security, pick up some lovely estates, private islands, etc.

They are going to dump their stock and buy back cheaper later. A lot of people will get hurt but they don't care. They will tell you to eat worms and walk to work.
