During a portion of an interview with ABC News Senior Investigative Correspondent Aaron Katersky aired on Tuesday’s broadcast of ABC’s “World News Tonight,” New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) responded to concerns that the fraud verdict against 2024 Republican presidential nominee former President Donald Trump will force businesses out of the state by stating that “tourism is up and Wall Street is doing just fine.”
After playing a clip of James saying that if Trump can’t pay the judgment, they’ll request the seizure of his assets, Katersky said, “Trump was held liable for exaggerating his wealth and inflating the value of his real estate

This crap story perpetuates the lie of fraud. There was none. Banks ALWAYS do their own appraisals. All the loans that the banks approved were paid back with interest. No crime, no victim.
When you have the MSM running cover for you , you can knowingly lie and lie and lie. James should be sued for slander and the media for libel.

I never knew exaggerating your wealth and inflating the value of your real estate was against the law.
Careful they don't lock up every person with a house for sale.

The county appraisal districts for ever hike up the real estate prices to get the maximum tax advantage! Do I really get the price, the county says it is worth, when I sell my house? Absolutely not!
Time for the DA's to go after the county appriasers too

Wasn't the only bank who testified on behalf of the State of NY Deutsche Bank?
Who stated they did their own appraisals and still provided the loans to Trump Organization at the interest rate they both agreed upon?
Then, the Trump Organization repaid those loans, with interest, on-time and some ahead of time?
That Deutsche Bank was willing to do more business, hoped to do more business, with the Trump Organization.

Didn't the "judge" claim Mar-A-Lago was only worth $18 million. If I thought I could buy it for that, I would do everything I could to buy it. As it is, empty lots near by, half the size, are going for more than twice $18 million.

The natives Indians sold Manhattan for $25 worth of trinkets. Was it worth more than that? Trump would have said a lot more - and both sides would have benefitted.

Banks have independent people to evaluate property value before they approve loans....duh...I have yet to see a bank give a loan based on the customers opinion...

this lowly civil servant has socked away many millions. laura loomer reports she managed to buy even
more expensive real estate w/ a $700k dark money loan from anti trumpers ---named french, iirc
--it's on loomer's substack.
the ag claims that all is well in her realm are not supported by the long lines of businesses departing ny
-and taking $1T with them. ls she lying ? or just unable to do the math?

Cripes. I'm glad that I didn't negotiate my last mortgage loan interest rate, my last new car loan, or my kiddo's college tuition in Ms James' jurisdictions.
I obviously committed serious frauds if I had.

Letitia's Loony Loom; this bat guano crazy lady is a Weaver of Tall Tales. She got the wool from a sheep, she wove it into yarn, she strung it on her loom and let the shuttle fly. Out of Whole Cloth did this B.G.C.L., a figment of George Soros' nasty imagination, just flew into the wool gathering business. Disney just called, Tinkerbell died and they need someone now to spread all that fairy dust. Let me add, I hope that which she fears shall come upon her with a quickness. Liar is more honest name for wool gatherer.

Trump's book was titled: "The Art of the Deal".
New York state's slogan of "open for business" is now dead.
It has become "The Art of the Steal"

Cracks appearing after the Trump decision? Leticia James wouldn't lie to us.
Maybe she has a secret lover on the state's payroll too.
