First, the whole NATO apparatus and mainstream media landscape went into full meltdown mode with Donald Trump’s suggestion that the US would only help alliance countries that obey the minimum of 2% GDP investment in defense.
And then Europe’s greatest power, Germany, immediately announced that it was fulfilling the spending level, as you can read in TRUMP’S TOUGH TALK WORKS: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz Now Vows To Meet NATO’s Agreed Minimum and Spend More Than 2% of GDP on Defense.
Now, it is reported at once that Germany means to spend MORE than 2% of its gross domestic product on defense,

Obviously Trump’s tough talk was meant to get the cheap skate NATO countries to pay up and not for Russia to attack any NATO country. You can bet that once those NATO countries find out that Trump won the November election that they will all be scampering to pay their dues.

I'll never forget nor forgive the condescension they showed Trump when he went to Europe to talk to the European leaders about paying their fair share.

You know what the countries who pay their way are? Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania. All former Soviet bloc countries.
Canada, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Turkey, Chechia, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bulgaria are all a bunch of leeches willing to let everyone else do the heavy lifting.

In a bid to ‘deter Russia in the coming years’, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated,
Gee, what might today be like if They had chosen to "Deter" Russia, by toughening up, for the entire last decade or more?

Combat readiness in the Bundeswehr is hovering around 33%. Combat readiness of the Luftwaffe is a pathetic 25%. Spend your money well.
That's what was so funny about the Leopard II tanks Germany sent to Ukraine. Did they actually function?

Trump actually uses his words quite well. The left has a hissy fit every time, but, as in this instance, they got a desired result. The dunce left still can’t figure him out. And yet they are (supposedly) so smart!

The Germans fear the legitimate President. Biden’s War will not end well for the European Union.
