In laying the foundation for his sweeping decision against former President Donald Trump, Judge Arthur Engoron observed that “this is a venial sin, not a mortal sin.” Yet, at $355 million, one would think that Engoron had found Trump to be the source of Original Sin.
The judgment against Trump (and his family and associates) was met with a level of unrestrained celebration by many in New York that bordered on the indecent. Attorney General Letitia James declared not only that Trump would be barred from doing business in New York for three years, but that the damages would come to roughly $460 million once interest was included.

Well folks, the grades are posted. It's a solid F minus. Now this is a state I would actually help secede from the Union. Physical squalor, moral filth, perverted justice - is there anything worth saving in New York?

I wonder why Jug Engorged didn't just convict Trump of murdering someone who didn't die? No victim is needed, after all.
The Putz Jug could have ordered his immediate execution and the guvernut could have called out the national guard to seize him and execute him by firing squad. If done quickly, Trump would have waived his right to appeal posthumously and would therefore have acquiesced in the judgment.
I'm sure there's precedent from Nazi Germany.

Celtic thought on the health, wealth, and security of the ppl goes back several millennia, and has made
its way into the Grail legends. i'm no Grail expert but, iirc, in Camelot, honourable righteous ppl
must choose like-minded leaders. however, there is another, darker, theme in the Grail legends:
the questing knight suffers the agony of ''the Wasteland'' , wherein the kingdom is despoiled
by damaged, incompetent, unworthy rulers.
Camelot must send out her best knights--authentic, noble, self-made warriors--to return the Holy Grail
to the ppl. IF... the knight succeeds, he may heal the devastated land and sickly ruler.

Sorry, Jonathan. The NY legal system has been tested and found to be sorely wanting in the matter of justice.

#3, why not? Another NY 'judge' helped convict Trump of raping someone who wasn't raped. Not to mention the Bill of Attainder/Ex-post Facto shenanigans that NY state did to help that along.

If you live in NY, state or city, get out now while you still can. Move your business before they seize it on some pretext. The tax base is going to start collapsing and the state and/or city will start filing bogus lawsuits to make you stay or pay horrendous fines if you try to leave. Get out now or you will be ruined trying to leave in the future. The movie “Escape From New York” is becoming reality.

Testing? No, this was the TEST, and they flunked.
Integrity = precisely ZERO.
And no one is buying their BS. The public knows that the FRAUD is the judge, the charges and the "trial".....THEY are the fraud. Trump did no fraud whatsoever.

I disagree with Turley; the integrity of New York's legal system was obscene on its face with the filing of this case. Period. It is merely the textbook example of Lawfare. They say that one could indict a Ham Sandwich. Get over it, that is Baloney.

From what I am hearing, the NY governor is getting all kinds of calls from business owners worried that the law applies to them, but she is assuring them that the law only applies to Trump.

Here's a point. The man who was choked in the subway a short time back had been arrested 44 times, some for assault, and here he was back on the streets, harassing people. That is how INjustice works in NYC. Criminals flourish, innocents suffer.

I was born and raised in NY, and still have a large family of relatives there. In fact, I just came back from visiting there this past Saturday. Between Fake Judge Ergoran's ruling, Fake Governor Hochul's support of that fiasco, and the Congestion Toll Pricing, New York can GtH as far as I care.

There have been and still are several 'legal entities' - ie. attorneys, judges DA,s, who have been
trying for the 'brass ring' of being the 'one who brings Trump DOWN'.
This XXXXX grinning XXXX decided to go for the ring and for the time being actually got hold of it.
I don't think it will last long.
Either Mr. Trump appeals and wins or he moves his empire, including untold amounts of TAX MONEY
to another state, or BOTH, wins AND moves - either way New York LOSES, BIG TIME and it is all
because of one ego driven so called 'public servant'.

The fact that Hochul came out and made a public statement that businesses "have nothing to worry about" is a huge red flag that businesses do, indeed, have something to worry about. If I owned a business or worked for a business thinking about moving to NY there's no way I'd go. If I was a business or worked for one already in NY I'd be doing everything I could to move to Texas or Florida. Throw on top of that some of the highest taxes in the nation and exploding crime and NY - NYC in particular - may have put the final nail in the coffin of making NY the communist utopia democrats have been working towards for the last 60 years.

The legal system in NY lost its integrity around the turn of the century (1899) and it's been downhill ever since.

Testing New York legal system’s integrity? How can you test something that these deplorable judgements prove does not exist!. When judges can make crimes up based on who the defendant is, not on the facts, you know there is no justice.
