On Presidents’ Day, Washington and Lincoln
Speak to Us from Their Graves

With the shock and awakening of Americans that the freedoms, rights, and opportunities they had taken for granted for generations have been brazenly stripped away in the last few years, primarily by the federal government and its administrative state, President’s Day 2024 takes on particular significance. It is unique among American holidays in that two of America’s greatest presidents -- George Washington and Abraham Lincoln -- speak to us from their graves. Washington was the key founder of the United States, the commander-in-chief of the Continental Army which defeated Great Britain -- the greatest military power in world. Later Washington presided over the Constitutional Convention and was unanimously elected

Where in the US Code is there a holiday called Presidents' Day? The official holiday is Washington's Birthday. Lincoln's Birthday is not a federal holiday (it is a state holiday in Illinois). That said, our freedoms are being abridged.

Folks in the Biden White House are reportedly very angry with the New York Times for actually reporting on the issue of Biden’s age. This is an administration that is simply not used to any media coverage that could be considered negative. They have no idea how to deal with this because the media has been so friendly to them. It also says a lot about how important the New York Times is to the left. Politico reported: NYT publisher: White House ‘extremely upset’ on Biden age coverage..The New York Times Publisher A.G. Sulzberger said Monday that the White House is “extremely upset” about its coverage on President Joe Biden’s age but

Newly uncovered documents reveal Joe Biden has an interesting connection to Abraham Lincoln and a personal reason to be thankful for his Presidency. Historian David J. Gerleman wrote in theWashington Post Monday that Biden’s great-great-grandfather, Moses J. Robinette, was pardoned by President Lincoln after being charged with murder following a particularly violent incident. He discovered this shocking detail after reviewing 22 pages of a court martial transcript. The charge came after a Robinette got into a brawl with fellow Union Army civilian employee John J. Alexander on March 21, 1864, in the Army of the Potomac’s winter camp in Virginia.

President Joe Biden will leave Washington for yet another visit to California's deep-pocketed political donors as he seeks to build a war chest capable of competing with Donald Trump's fundraising machine. He travels to the West Coast for the second time this month to swell campaign coffers already crammed with $130 million—the highest total ever amassed at this stage in the cycle. His first event is with a billionaire Israeli-American Hollywood mogul. Tickets reportedly cost up to $250,000, making it a tidy payday for Biden's reelection effort.

Many people can't believe that the Democrats are going to go with the debilitated Joe Biden as their candidate for 2024. But right now, that's the apparent plan, although there's all kinds of speculation about a possible plan B that might include California Gov. Gavin Newsom or Michelle Obama. Newsom certainly has been lining himself up as an available guy for the role should Biden ever step to the side.I have to hand it to one of the reporters on Tuesday who had the boldness to ask Biden about Newsom being Plan B. The fact that now they're willing to ask this shows how much trouble Biden is in.

Thirteen Republican senators are urging GOP leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to force a formal impeachment trial of President Joe Biden’s pro-migration border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas. Mayorkas was impeached on February 13 for refusing to enforce the nation’s border laws. But Democrats — and some pro-establishment GOP senators — are hinting they will ignore the House’s indictment and will not conduct Mayorkas’ trial in the Senate. The senators’ letter to McConnell said: We call on you to join our efforts to jettison this approach by Democrats to shirk their constant duty, ensure that the Senate conducts a proper trial

The incident occurred on February 15 as officers tried to detain a suspect at the Randall’s Island migrant shelter. Hostile shelter residents surrounded the five officers and began to throw bottles, backpacks, and other items at them. Some pushed forward at the officers, attempting to interfere with the arrest.

A plan by President Joe Biden, called an “extortion attempt,” would shield more criminal illegal aliens from deportation as data shows his Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has drastically cut interior immigration enforcement. Biden’s White House is threatening to cut deportations of even the most violent illegal alien convicts unless Congress approves billions in funding that passes through DHS before getting handed to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) helping facilitate illegal immigration. RJ Hauman, president of the National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE), told Breitbart News that the threat from Biden is echoed by the establishment media with claims that DHS needs the billions in funding to enforce federal immigration law.

As he is wont to do, Donald Trump caused heads to explode among the American political establishment and legacy media when he recalled an encounter he had with an unnamed president “of a big country” regarding the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). In Trump’s telling, the leader asked him, “Well sir, if we don’t pay and we’re attacked by Russia, will you protect us?” Trump answered by saying: “No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You gotta pay.” Almost immediately, an avalanche of shopworn accusations of Trump being a Putin sycophant determined to surrender Europe

President Joe Biden is polling at under 50 percent against former President Donald Trump in blue New York as his likely challenger has already made it clear that he is making a “heavy play” for traditionally blue states this election cycle. The New York survey from Siena College showed Biden leading Trump by just 12 percentage points in the Democrat-run state, leading Trump with less than a majority, 48 percent support, to the former president’s 36 percent support. Another six percent said they would not vote, six percent said they do not know or refused to answer, and four percent said they would support someone else.
