Former President Donald Trump got to command a stage all to himself at a prime time Fox News town hall in Iowa, where he was cheered by Iowa supporters but was still forced to state flat out that he was not 'going to be a dictator.'
Trump made the comment when co-host Bret Baier asked him about his recent that there would be 'bedlam' in the country if his criminal prosecutions continue.
That brought a long explanation from Trump about his comments to fellow Fox host Sean Hannity. Trump had told Hannity he woudl be a 'dictator for one day,' in comments that drew backlash.

retribution requires a loyal bureaucracy which he will not have. it will take several conservative administrations to make DC great again

Michelle Obama and the other Socialists are worried that he will treat them like Biden has treated Republicans who support Pres. Trump. Maybe he should release all political prisoners and replace them with Communist Democrats who have lied about him all these years.

The people who are asking if PRESIDENT Trump will go after those that are accusing him of "insurrection, lying about his taxes, bank loans, etc., saying its reciprocation, must know that all the accusations are lies.
Why would the even care if they were not lying. Must be worried that PRESIDENT Trump will tell the truth!

I could not survive as President. Make a joke and everybody hypes the joke as if it were absolute truth spoken from on high. Trump loves to poke the bear. The bear has been trying to destroy Trump since he ran in 16 and won. More BS and lies have been spread about this man than would fill a library.

For the first month or so we're going to need a dictator -- and a greatly expanded Gitmo.

President Trump will need some loyal hatchet-men to go into each department and chop out all the deadwood. And shutdown various unnecessary departments completely. After all, we're broke! Shouldn't take more than 3 months. Just ignore the congressional screaming and tell 'em to stay in their lane.

Trump should announce all inauguration activity will be held in Florida, so his voters won’t have to risk assault and arrest in D.C. Even the swearing in.

Biden won't be the Democrat final nominee. The Deep State will either force him to retire or kill him. Right now he serves as a focus for all the anxiety and worry of the left. They can blame everything on him. Once he's suddenly replaced by Barry Obama's husband, there will be relief, jubilation, and renewed enthusiasm among Democrats.

The only people calling Trump a dictator are biased critics that will never accept him and don't want anyone else to accept him. If anything, this is a prelude to refuse to acknowledge Trump as President and use that at a basis to ignore anything he does. Our enemies would love to claim our government is illegitimate.

Never accept the premise of the left or GOPe. Ever. You don’t need to deny a charge of dictator, Mr. President, especially to those who engineered and/or supported the 2020 election coup.

He can't be any worse than Biden's mandate to buy EVs. What about Bidin's giving out exemptions for student loan payments? SCOTUS said he couldn't do that but he has ignored that decision. Is that considered dictatorship? The third leg of government, SCOTUS, was put into place to prevent such activity.
