Republicans in the U.S. Senate are responding to the efforts by the left to remove Trump from state ballots. Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina is introducing a bill that would restrict federal funds for states that do this. It’s a good plan and every member of the GOP should get behind it. Even Senator Susan Collins of Maine, who is not known for being particularly conservative, has spoken out against what is happening in her state. This is what our Congress does all day. Introduce bills that they know have no chance of becoming law, but allows them to look like they are doing something. Senator Collins should take Maine's SOS to the little girls room for a chat, high school style.

minus, of course, the RINO's in the Senate who would have the most corrupt WH occupant in the office - rather than their own candidate with a track record of proving that he is the ONLY one to get the job done and done well

What is wrong with these people? This bill presumes that the States have a constitutional right to remove candidates from a federal election and they do not. Is this supposed to impress Republican voters? It’s disgusting. Let the Supreme Court do its job and let’s move on.

No doubt once the wimpy Republicans get the leftist and socialist Democrats to help them pass this bogus piece of legislation through Congress that Biden will then sign the bill into law! Guess again.

President Joe Biden is ending his third term without his family dogs, both German Shepherds — Major and Commander — in the White House with him. That is because his dogs have bitten people more than one dozen times since moving in, prompting officials to formally kick them out after dealing with it for months on end. Biden adopted Major as a puppy from the Humane Association in 2018. Major was one of several litter mates who was exposed to an unknown toxic substance, making them sick, which forced hospitalization. However, they ultimately recovered, and Biden adopted one of them. Originally, Major was praised for being the first rescue dog

Joe Biden is not a man who likes to face reality or to be challenged. We saw that again when he was asked about the economy and got snippy with a reporter, scolding him to "Start reporting it the right way." (X Video) As I noted, the translation for that is that you guys are supposed to be pumping out my talking points, the way I want them reported, not questioning me. However, inflation, debt, and high interest rates aren't good for the American people, and snippy comments aren't going to change that. There are not only those issues with the economy but his polls are in the basement,

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley flubbed the name of a local college basketball star in Iowa on Saturday, in another embarrassing gaffe on the campaign trail. Speaking at the Iowa Athletic Club in Coralville, Haley accidentally referred to Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark as 'Kaitlan Collins', the name of the rising-star CNN anchor. Former President Donald Trump is pointing to his record when appealing to voters as he vies first for the Republican nomination and, ultimately, the presidential election — the main event. While he is looking to build on what he established during his first four years, Trump has also recognized that America now has additional challenges that must be addressed should he win back the White House in 2024. Here are some of the key campaign promises Trump has publicly made thus far. 1. End Woke Gender Ideology While it did not stand as an issue as pressing as the current day during his first term, Trump has promised to tackle the “left-wing gender insanity”

Both states have moved to exclude Trump over his role in the January 6, 2021, attack by his supporters on the Capitol. The states have accepted legal challenges to Trump's nomination that cite Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which says office holders cannot 'have engaged in insurrection or rebellion'. Trump has privately expressed concerns that the Supreme Court, to which he appointed three conservative justices while president, may side with Colorado and Maine so as not to appear 'political',

Sam Bankman-Fried, who was convicted last month of stealing from customers of his now-bankrupt FTX cryptocurrency exchange, will not face a second trial on separate charges in the case, including campaign finance violations. In a letter filed on Friday night in federal court in Manhattan, prosecutors said the 'strong public interest' in a prompt resolution of their case against the 31-year-old former billionaire outweighed the benefits of a second trial. Prosecutors said that interest 'weighs particularly heavily here,' given that Bankman-Fried's scheduled March 28 sentencing will likely include orders of forfeiture and restitution for victims of his crimes.

The 45th president of the United States, Donald John Trump, is a particular kind of president, out of all the previous presidents in modern history, and a specific kind of threat to established political organizations. He is not a threat per se to voters, or to Americans, but rather to the current political party system. But there is a fascinating reason why this is so, and I’d like to suggest that it stems from the most powerful element of America itself, including its founding: individualism. That may seem like an obvious statement, but if you map out all the elements of the current U.S. political economy, they are made,

Tensions are increasing between President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to a new report at Axios, a frustrated Biden hung up on Netanyahu after a dispute about how to handle tax revenues the Israeli government collects for the Palestinian Authority. I wrote earlier this week about a report that Biden allegedly talked Netanyahu out of a "preemptive strike" on Hezbollah that Israel was reportedly planning in the wake of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel by Hamas. That report comes at a time when Biden needs to be seen as more of a competent leader, and Netanyahu shot it down. Now we learn

For Republicans, it could be a very happy new year indeed. The 2024 elections hold the potential for a trifecta: winning unified control of the federal government, including all its elected branches, for the first time in eight years. “Could” is the operative word, however. Republicans have an opportunity, but they must capitalize on it to bring their electoral dreams to fruition. The fact that it takes more than good poll numbers and flawed opponents to win in a polarized political climate can itself be summed up in one of the most futile phrases of the past few years: the “red wave.” Just two years ago, Republicans looked to have a chance
