Beware of those who might feign sympathy or pity on you because they want power over you.
Martin Luther King Jr., in his famous speech, had a vision that was, for a long time, woven into the American psyche: “I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.” However, the evolution of the relationship between the sons has been marked by complexity and adversity.
Since its establishment in January 1828,

The Democrat Party has had one primary strategy since its inception. That is to exploit black people. First it was slavery, then it was Jim Crow and finally under LBJ was to make them wards of the state so that they would always vote Democrat.

The black dream has failed for one simple reason, the absence of two dedicated parents to raise their children with the proper morals, education and ambition to want to lead a good life. The government didn't fail them, we the people did not fail them and slavery did not fail them. Their miserable lives are on them.

It is a challenge to sanity when we recognize how many Americans willingly accept the chains that bind them to desperate lives. Markovski's treatise here should be read with Monihan's prescient work of generations ago. It is interesting that everything bad the Democrat segregationists claimed would happen to integrated schools has happened to our city schools.
The Lyndon Johnson quote is too consistent with his character not to have been said by him.

The Democrat Party has learned the same lesson as all socialist movements in history. Nietzsche identified this as slave morality, although it had nothing to do with human chattel. The power of the majority (master morality) is in their culture, values, and reliance on individual self-determination. Ironically, this is what used to be called free market liberalism. The power of the "oppressed" minority is in their resentment for, and rejection of, all the sources of the "oppressor" majorities power. They use pity, resentment, and egalitarianism to undermine the natural distribution of power and wealth based on merit. This is why so many leftists hate Israel as well. The modern and successful state of Israel is heresy to those groups who resent and disparage success and self-reliance.

While the majority of "voting" blacks vote democrat, it's not true to believe that most of them are suffering. The voting blacks do more damage to the nonvoting, poor blacks than they do to themselves. Most black people I know do well no matter which party owns the White House. Yes, you will hear successful blacks tout the plantation mantras, but they claim to speak for the other blacks, not themselves. Most black people I know have multiple degrees, high ranking positions, and they have the good paying jobs/businesses, homes, and lifestyles to prove it. And, they're not living paycheck to paycheck; they are heavily invested and have plenty of money in the bank. They pay their children's tuition; no student loans for them. Now, do dems tear up the cities and states that they run? Yes, they do, and they don't have to be black to do that. And, their horrible policies affect everyone, while some are able to weather through while others are not. Across the board.
I agree with the majority of the article, but I'm hesitant to give MLK too much credit. I only use him to counter arguments from the left, but I find myself identifying more with Malcolm X than MLK when it comes to politics. MX recognized the real white devil, the white liberal, and he was open and honest about it. You won't get much of that about MX with Spike Lee, but it's true. When I was in college, I had a marxist prof who turned me on to a lot of marxist literature. It was all about the struggle and the revolt of the masses which always ended up with a tyrant at the head and a lot of useful idiots realizing they were duped as they were being hunted and killed. He tried to be balanced; he shared with me "Soul on Fire" and "Soul on Ice." MLK may have not been left enough, so they had to take him out to make way for others, like Jesse Jackson, who would sell out black people, appreciate, and maintain their position on the plantation. This is why I call them field hands. I'm rambling, but the dem plantation thing is not that deep. The left demonizes the right as evil and racist, and many blacks vote against their own best interests believing the lies of their biggest enemies the dems. It has to be spiritual, and that's where it gets deep.

The word 'tamed' in the headline is very evocative.

Let me approach this from a different direction: Democrats didn't do themselves any "favors" with black Americans after doing all they have at making Hispanics the single largest minority in the nation, far ahead of blacks, who had held that position for around 200 years. Before the height of slavery, that title was held by the indigenous peoples, aka, "Native Americans."

Like some beast of burden---ox, horse, mule---the Black American is deemed by the Commiecrats as useful only for the work he can perform. In this case, providing muscle to pull the wagon the elites ride in, on the road to communism. If a member of the team shows a tendency to stray from the planned straight road, he feels the sting of the whip upon his ear. Wearing the harness of dependency, but also the blinders of lying media, he never sees any other path. With prominent exceptions, to be fair.

Controlling blacks started with the promise of 40 acres and a mule by the democrats in 1885 and followed blacks to the northern cities onto city plantations where they were controlled...remember biden's words..."if you don't vote for me...you ain't black"....
