Bill Barr: SCOTUS Will ‘Slap’ Down
Colorado Disqualification Decision

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 12/21/2023 7:30:01 AM

Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that the Colorado Supreme Court decision disqualifying former President Donald Trump from the state’s 2024 ballot would be overturned by the Supreme Court. Barr said, “As you know, I strongly oppose Donald Trump for the Republican nomination. I think this case is legally wrong and untenable. I think this kind of action of stretching the law and taking hyper-aggressive missions to knock Trump out of the race they are counterproductive. They backfire, as you know. He feeds on grievance just like a fire feeds on oxygen. This will end up as a grievance that helps him.”

Disclosure: I have never been the Attorney General of the United States, and I hold no law degree. But I can and have read the Constitution of the United States quite a few times and can predict with a high degree of certainty that the Supreme Court will overturn this unconstitutional ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court. The obvious misuse of "law" to promote a political ideology is blatantly obvious. Ironically, the left is attempting to attach Trump to Hitler, yet the left wants to criminalize their political opponents--just like Hitler, Stalin, and other socialists have done. . .

Common sense and decency dictates that the four idiot judges in Colorado be overridden but going to the US Supreme Court just passes the ball off to another group that consists of some biased and unqualified judges who have already made a wrong decision in 2020 not to allow lawsuits against an obviously stolen election to stand in an attempt to avoid conflict. Never put your faith in any government body to do the right thing. In our case, the power of the people may be called upon to do the right thing.

Dan Bongino made a great point - SCOTUS may indeed put a stop to it....for now. What happens when the makeup of the court changes and they do this again? Or what is they DON'T put a stop to it? Unless and until they do, RED STATES need to start bringing suits to get Biden of the baitot for the same reason they used against Trump, because with Biden its actually true that he has "given aid and comfort to our enemies". Republicans have to start fighting back and using their tactics against them, instead of waiting on someone to "fix it". It's much like the difference between the kid who is bullied running to get a teacher or a principal every time he's picked on, as opposed to finally turning around and cleaning the clock of the bully. And then, once you do that, .you've got a put your foot on the neck of that bully and keep it there. Republicans have got to quit cowering in the corner and crying.

Regardless of whether you like Barr or not, the Colorado Court's actions are unconstitutional. Actions allowed in the 14th Amendment are reserved for Federal Congress (House and Senate) as defined in Section 5 of the 14th Amendment. State courts and legislatures have no powers granted to them in the 14th Amendment.

There were also scintillating whispers shared by two sources, reported by Politico, that Trump has been quizzing his inner circle on whether to pick a running mate whose name could

Hanson reminds readers that Kamala Harris supported the riots of 2020 and that Chuck Schumer threatened two justices on the U.S. Supreme Court and asks if those acts qualify as forms of insurrection. He also wonders if the left realizes where all of this is taking the country. Hanson writes at American Greatness:

John Bel Edwards, the only Democrat governor in the South, will leave office on January 8, after serving the maximum of two four-year terms. The 57-year-old lawyer has made reducing Louisiana's prison population a priority. Per capita, Louisiana locks up more people than any other democracy on earth, with 1,094 people per 100,000 behind bars, according to the Prison Policy Initiative. President Joe Biden ends 2023 with his polling numbers still in the doldrums — worse than any other president at the same stage of their first term — as he prepares for an election next year with voters still worrying about the state of the economy. And that is despite his overall approval rating ticking up slightly. The latest tracking number from Gallup, published Friday, puts Biden's job approval rating at 39 percent, up two points from lows in October and November. That is worse than the last seven presidents in history as they came to the end of their third year in power. Barack Obama was at 43 percent and
