Will Mitt Romney Back Biden?

Original Article

Mitt may be moot when it comes to representing the people of Utah in the U.S. Senate, but something tells me that he isn't quite finished yet in the political arena. At least, he probably does not think so. Advertisement During Mitt's career as a senator, I, and doubtless, countless other Utah Republicans, quietly seethed when some wonk or pundit opined that the people of Utah adored Romney. I'm sure there are some older folks in Utah, who look at his LDS background and who would vote a straight "R" ticket no matter what, who may have his back.

Comments:

Excellent!! He completely takes Pierre Dilecto apart!!

Biden will not be the nominee, so this is moot. Romney will support Newsom. In fact, he'll probably be his VP candidate.

The best that Delecto could do would be to back NO ONE. That would be dignified, professional, prudent... something like that.

Might as well. The betrayal of Trump after he helped win Mitt his Senate position ranks right up there with the traitor Benedict Arnold. Mittens has burned his bridges forever with Republicans everywhere so he might as well officially change parties altogether.

Biden will win any possible primary by default but will resign at the convention in order to pursue other activities, or from terminal stupidity. To late to run another candidate and it will be hell for the electors. Not to mention a '68 Dem convention anniversary.

Early Wednesday morning, a resident of West Miami-Dade County experienced a harrowing encounter with would-be thieves that underscores the rise in catalytic converter thefts. This is one of the most overlooked crimes that grew in frequency during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, the victim was armed and was able to fight off a pair of thieves trying to steal the catalytic converter from his vehicle. Here’s how the confrontation went down: Miami-Dade Police Det. Andre Martin said a resident was in his home when he heard power tools in the parking lot. The resident saw two people under his vehicle trying to remove the catalytic converter, so he armed himself

President Biden finally found a hole in his schedule. It's been a full 67 days since eight Americans were taken hostage by Hamas terrorists during the October 7 massacre in Israel. Since that day, Biden has taken multiple trips to his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and even squeezed in a long Thanksgiving trip to Nantucket. Unlike vacationing, finding time to meet with the hostage families was clearly not a priority for the president. He came under fire recently for not inviting the families to a White House ceremony marking the season of Hanukkah, despite a request by the families to be included in the event.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court agreed to hear the appeal brought by a man charged with obstructing an official proceeding relating to the events at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021. The plaintiff in this case, Joseph Fischer, petitioned the Supreme Court to hear his case and asked for a dismissal of the "obstructing an official proceeding" charge as it related to the certification of the election, which declared Joe Biden the winner. At the heart of the Fischer v. U.S case is 18 U.S.C. 1512(c)(2), which makes it a crime to "corruptly...otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding[...]."

Two things are true: One, former President Donald Trump's polling -- nationally, in key swing states, and in the first-voting state of Iowa -- has never been better. And two, Jack Smith, the special counsel appointed by the Biden Justice Department to prosecute Trump, is taking self-described "extraordinary" measures in a rush to put Trump on trial before the 2024 presidential election. The two things are not unrelated. And nothing could more effectively illustrate the contrast between Trump's rising political fortunes and the administration's effort to imprison him before the election. Start with the Iowa polling. The new Des Moines Register poll, considered quite reliable,

Trying to play both sides in a fight is always dangerous. This is especially true when the lines between sides are clearly delineated. Now is the time for every individual, every organization, and every country to take a stand in the war against the evil of Hamas, terrorism, and hate. Do we side with Israel, whose IDF has correctly been called “the most moral army in the history of the world” and who has for over 70 years attempted to make “land for peace” deals to bring lasting peace to the Middle East? Or do we side with Hamas, a terrorist organization that in its own charter of 1988
