Bidenomics is failing America, infecting the land with a persistent and intensifying cynicism, despite attempts by the White House and a partisan press to impose misleading narratives on the electorate. For example, the media rushed to heap praise upon last week’s modestly constructive jobs report. The actual numbers reveal a mixed bag – not a terrible report, but certainly not a parade-worthy one, either. The 199,000 jobs added in November sits below the average for the year 2023, and far off the prior levels of 2021 and 2022. Regarding jobs added since Biden took office, the easy part is over, meaning the task of regaining the lost jobs resulting from the COVID

This administration is nothing but a big fat lie. Actually, more than a big fat lie, because there's a purpose to the lies and lies upon lies. Have we dared face the purpose, the reason for the destructive policies? Do we want to believe that evil is the root? that fellow Americans want to destroy this Republic? are thoroughly indifferent to the suffering of Americans? because like all tyrannical regimes only the power at the apex, the elites, matters. I see the rise and fall of nations throughout history, of great powers imploding from the deeds of gaseous traitors within, of great powers weakened and impotent, I see them now with a bird's eye view, before our very eyes, as those amongst us are carrying out the national self-destruction, believing that they, in their supreme but blind arrogance, can build their utopia out of the ash heap of their own making.

Bravo#1 - well said. How many Americans would happily take Trump’s economy now over “Bidenomics,” which is why The Sniffer & his regime are so desperate to somehow disqualify Trump. Few Americans today are willing to swallow TYRANNY much longer.

The House of Representatives voted in favor of a resolution calling on the presidents of Harvard and MIT to resign following last week's hearing on antisemitism. In a vote on Wednesday evening, representatives passed the resolution by a vote of 303-126. It required two-thirds to pass, or 290 votes. The bill was introduced by House Republican Conference Chair Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., Rep. Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla., Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., and Rep. Josh Gottheimer, D-N.J. "President Magill has resigned, and the other Presidents should follow suit," the resolution states.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan said Hunter Biden made a "huge change" by saying his father, President Biden, was "not financially involved" in his business dealings. Jordan's comments came shortly after Hunter Biden defied his subpoena by not appearing for a deposition before the House Oversight Committee, and instead, delivering a public statement defending himself and his family amid the House impeachment inquiry against his father. "My father was not financially involved in my business," Hunter Biden said Wednesday morning from Capitol Hill, adding the president was not involved in his dealings with Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, or his Chinese investments and others in the U.S.

Political polarization in politics is a feature of our political system today, but it wasn’t always this way. Conservatives began to dominate the GOP in 1964, and in 1968 the historic Democratic establishment began to be discredited and undermined. These gradual forces came to a head in 1972. The culminating clash has been the source of a half-century of competition and conflict. Before 1964, there was a broad centrism with liberal and conservative wings. Moderate Republicans and conservative Democrats could find a lot of common ground. Liberal Republicanism was gradually weakening, and the conservative Democrats of the South were steadily losing ground and legitimacy.

The structures that bind the nations of the world together are breaking down before our eyes. Two savage wars are raging in volatile regions, either of which might at any moment blow up to involve additional belligerents and the potential use of nuclear weapons. The UN, established to prevent such disasters, has become a plaything of dictators: Iran, one of the bloodiest regimes on earth and a proud sponsor of terrorism, has just assumed the chair of the UN’s Human Rights Council. China has greatly accelerated production of nuclear warheads — and the Chinese media has begun to issue threats about “war on a global scale.”

What Happened to Ron DeSantis? 20 replies

Ron DeSantis is running as the true-blue conservative in the race for the Republican presidential nomination. And he's learning the hard way that Republicans don't nominate true-blue conservatives. As Donald Trump leads every poll by double-digits, the Florida governor who seemed such a promising prospect just a year ago is now at risk of falling to third place. If Nikki Haley bests DeSantis in Iowa, his 2024 campaign won't be the only casualty; his hopes of ever becoming president will dim, and rivals won't fear him as they look to '28 or '32. How did DeSantis go from a 19-point reelection only a year ago to a fight for his political life today?

They just won’t stop. The same day I wrote about media exaggeration of Trump’s second term plans to “seize power,” the New York Times comes out with an end-of-days Trump Apocalypse story—“Trump Has a Master Plan for Destroying the ‘Deep State.’” Their version of Trump 2.0 reads like an A.I.-generated rewrite of Mein Kampf. Yet it’s a good question: What might Trump really do in his second term? Don’t worry, it’s all good unless you like the Deep State.

When James Comer wondered on CNN whether Special Counsel David Weiss had indicted Hunter Biden on nine tax-related charges to protect him from having to be deposed in the House Oversight Committee, Jake Tapper snarkily responded: “Yes, the classic rubric. He indicted him to protect him. I got it.” Well, yes. Indicting a person on lesser charges can often protect him from more serious ones. It happens all the time. In this case, though, “him” isn’t Hunter, it’s Joe. Weiss failed to indict Hunter for failing to register as a foreign agent or failing to pay taxes on the millions that flowed from those arrangements. Why? Probably because

Despite being in bad shape politically, President Joe Biden has not hit rock bottom yet. Unlike in 2020, Biden is going to have to campaign, and he is going to have a record to defend — his alone, not one he inherited from former President Barack Obama. And unlike in 2020 and throughout his presidency, the establishment media will have to cover him. As history has shown, exposure and coverage are not a good combination for Biden. To be sure, Biden is still working from an advantage. As usual, the establishment media have given their preferential pass to a Democrat. Without it, Biden would likely not be running

In its latest assault on institutions that fail to adhere to its ideological bent, the Biden administration just imposed the largest fine in the history of the U.S. Department of Education on Grand Canyon University (GCU) — a school whose motto is "private, Christian, and affordable." And incredibly, the penalty is 10 times bigger than that levied against schools who covered up some of the worst sex offenders in U.S. history. By any metric, Phoenix-based GCU is a success story. It has exploded from a tiny school with less than 1,000 students and few course offerings to one of the largest private schools in the country, offering degrees in every

More than 500 Harvard faculty members supported University President Claudine Gay in a letter to the school's board Sunday, following intense blowback from a congressional hearing about the rise in antisemitism on campus, where Gay failed to clearly state whether calls for the genocide of Jews violated the Ivy League school's rules. The Harvard Corporation and the Harvard Board of Overseers, the university's second-highest governing body, met Sunday amid mounting pressure from donors and lawmakers to remove Gay from her post.

Chicken Little was right about the Ivy League. The sky really is falling. The cleanup can’t begin until we hear a resounding crash and see the debris. That cleanup job should begin with firing some university presidents. The University of Pennsylvania went first. That great university, founded by Benjamin Franklin, announced that “President Liz Magill has voluntarily tendered her resignation.” Calling it “voluntary” is reminiscent of the famous old radio joke in which a robber confronts Jack Benny and demands all his money. After a long pause, the robber has to repeat his demand. Benny finally replies, “I’m thinking it over.” Penn’s PR flaks would have said,

WASHINGTON - U.S. President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that Israel is losing support over its "indiscriminate" bombing of Gaza and that Benjamin Netanyahu should change, exposing a new rift in relations with the Israeli prime minister. Biden's remarks, made to donors to his 2024 re-election campaign, were his most critical to date of Netanyahu's handling of Israel's war in Gaza. They are a stark contrast to his literal and political embrace of the Israeli leader days after Hamas militants' Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel. "Israel's security can rest on the United States, but right now it has more than the United States. It has the European Union, it has Europe,

While Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has set his sights on the Hawkeye State — and secured the endorsement of Governor Kim Reynolds — former South Carolina Governor and United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley has been focusing her efforts on New Hampshire, where the primary will take place on January 23. Nikki Haley is putting her chips on the center of the board in New Hampshire, a New England state where she has surged into a clear second place behind former President Trump.

DosSantos followed up the email 15 minutes later apologizing for the invite, clarifying that it was only meant for the city's six councilors of color. For the first time in the nearly 30-year history of the United Nations summit on climate change, all nations gathered unanimously agreed to a resolution that called for “transitioning away from fossil fuels” and committed member states to tripling existing green-energy infrastructure by 2030. The nearly 200 member countries gathered at the COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai agreed to transition away from fossil fuels “in a just, orderly and equitable manner” before entirely eliminating carbon emissions by 2050. While previous U.N. climate agreements committed member states to work toward slowing global warming, the deal announced Wednesday was the first to include an explicit commitment to do away with “fossil fuels.”
