House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) released security footage from the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riots to the public on Friday.
Johnson took to X, formerly Twitter, and shared a link to a House website containing five pages of videos with roughly 20 videos per page.
“Today, I am keeping my promise to the American people and making all the January 6th tapes available to ALL Americans,” Johnson tweeted moments before releasing the CCTV tapes.
“To restore America’s trust and faith in their Government we must have transparency. This is another step towards keeping the promises I made when I was elected to be your Speaker,” he wrote in another post.

The process of auto-beatification among the educated in the West seems more prevalent than ever. Possessed, as they believe, of knowledge, wisdom, and generosity, they believe also that they are the conscience of society who therefore ought rightly play a directing role in it. They have what Thomas Sowell, the great American economist and social theorist, calls “the vision of the anointed,” derogation from which would be a sign of moral and intellectual weakness. For them, all desiderata are reconcilable, and the world can be made not only just, but fair. Perhaps not coincidentally, the cost of all this will be borne by others.

As Netflix launches its final season of “The Crown,” focusing on Princess Diana, her boyfriend Dodi Fayed, and his billionaire father, Mohamed Al-Fayed, many viewers will be retold the story of Diana’s shocking death through TV news flashes. Personally, I remember getting the news in a phone call from the White House.
When Diana and Dodi were killed in Paris, I was working at the American Embassy there. A career FBI agent, I was assigned to Paris as the legal attaché, meaning I was the U.S. government’s official liaison with French law enforcement. Later, my private work as a consultant would draw me more deeply into the investigation of the tragedy.

New York Appellate Division Associate Justice David Friedman temporarily lifted a gag order on former President Donald Trump from the bench on Nov. 16 while the former president appeals the order.
"Considering the constitutional and statutory rights at issue an interim stay is granted," the justice wrote.
The gag order was originally issued by New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, who's presiding over a civil bench trial regarding alleged fraud by The Trump Organization. This week, the defense filed a motion to declare a mistrial.

President Joe Biden used one of his earliest email aliases to discuss official White House business with his son and may have used it to covertly advance the Biden family business.
Biden previously issued repeated denials of ever discussing business with his son, but mounting evidence shows he met and spoke with Hunter’s foreign business partners numerous times, and also corresponded with Hunter via pseudonyms. The Biden White House has refused to explain why Joe used non-government emails to clue Hunter Biden in on official vice president business.

A federal appeals court in New Orleans gave the Biden administration 37 days to move forward with the sale of oil and gas leases in the Gulf of Mexico, dismissing challenges from environmental groups in a ruling on Tuesday.
The decision comes after a series of legal battles, primarily citing concerns over endangered whale species.
The three-judge panel of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the attempts by environmental groups to block the leases, which had been delayed due to legal challenges related to whale protections.

In May 2021, L. Gordon Crovitz, a media executive turned start-up investor, pitched Twitter executives on a powerful censorship tool.
In an exchange that came to light in the “Twitter Files” revelations about media censorship, Crovitz, former publisher of the Wall Street Journal, touted his product, NewsGuard, as a “Vaccine Against Misinformation.” His written pitch highlighted a “separate product” — beyond an extension already on the Microsoft Edge browser — “for internal use by content-moderation teams.” Crovitz promised an out-of-the-box tool that would use artificial intelligence powered by NewsGuard algorithms to rapidly screen content based on hashtags and search terms the company associated with dangerous content.

The nature of our problem.
Former FBI Director James Comey openly admitted to Congress on March 20, 2017, how the FBI, FBI Counterintelligence Division, Main Justice & DOJ-National Security Division, together with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the CIA, had been conducting independent investigations of Donald Trump for approximately a year without informing Congress [Gang of Eight]. When asked why, Comey winced, then justified the lack of informing Go8 oversight by saying, “um, because of the sensitivity of the matter?”
Stupidly, Congress never pressed James Comey on that issue.

LONDON — With his country mired in economic doldrums and his party trailing in the polls as an election nears, U.K. leader Rishi Sunak rolled the dice and shook up his government on Monday, appointing former Prime Minister David Cameron to the post of foreign secretary.
The move — called bold by Sunak’s supporters and desperate by his critics — came in a Cabinet overhaul that saw Sunak jettison his powerful but controversial interior minister, Home Secretary Suella Braverman, in a bid to reset his faltering government.

Today, November 13th, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene will hold a hearing on injuries caused by the COVID-19 vaccines with special witnesses.
(snip)Today I will be testifying at Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Congressional House Hearing on injuries caused by the COVID-19 Vaccines. MTG has been a true hero in this fight against mandates, masks, lockdowns and fighting for justice for those injured. She has been on our side for years.
I am proud to stand by her in this endeavor. She is one of the few members of Congress willing to stand up and fight.

CLAREMONT, N.H.—Former U.S. president and 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump earned new key endorsements at a packed New Hampshire rally on Nov. 11, as his supporters spoke about feeling abandoned by the national Republican Party leadership.
Among them was Rayla Campbell, the first black woman to win a Republican primary in Massachusetts for Secretary of State. She ultimately lost her bid to a Democrat incumbent and said she got "zero" support from national Republican leaders for her campaign.
"One hundred percent I feel ignored," Mrs. Campbell, who was at the rally to represent Black Voices for Trump, told The Epoch Times. "They aren't interested in grassroots candidates or rising candidates."
