Taxpayers have to front nearly half a trillion dollars each year because the Biden administration is not stopping migrants at the southern border, Republicans said in a report on Monday.
The cost of providing education, healthcare, law enforcement and other expenditure resulting from millions of extra migrants adds up to as much as $451 billion a year, says the House study.
The 49-page report comes as House Republicans push to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for allegedly failing to constrain the record numbers of migrants arriving at the US-Mexico border.

We’re paying nearly half a trillion dollars accommodating invaders per year. Yet if Trump wins next year and follows through with massive deportations politicians from both parties will screech that we don’t have the money to do so.

Democrats really, really, really, want those votes. If it means wiping out the middle class that's ok.

Forget impeachment.
Mayorkas should be put in Leavenworth for the rest of his life.

Impeachment for any of Bidens boys is a waste of time. The democrats won't allow it and the republicans haven't got the intestinal fortitude for it

Is there a path for a tax revolt? Or a way to demand they dismantle some pet project of theirs to pay for it. Joe said this would not cost us. It would be net positive. We knew it would not. We said 'build the wall'. Joe said 'come one, come all', We are lemmings headed for the sea without a leader to change course.

Amazing. We didn't have what, $10 billion to finish the wall, but we have almost $500 billion to pay for these invading freeloaders every year?

Don’t be silly, believing Republicans will unite and actually do something to secure our border and stop the financial bleeding is folly. As we know now they couldn’t even stand together to impeach Mayorkus. We also know that it wouldn’t have made it through the Senate but what it would have done is draw attention to the perfidy of this unholy administration hell bent on destroying this country. We can’t even unite to make a statement of outrage as this administration continues to allow, encourage, and facilitate the largest invasion in our history. God help us because those in leadership will not. They are eager to turn this country into a Mad Max nightmare where it will be every man for himself and these foolish republicans refuse to face that reality.

Here's an idea. No money for welfare. Food stamps. Housing. Medical care if you're not a citizen.
Prove citizenship to get into schools. Triage style medical care for illegals. We get to you when we get to you.
No phones, no debit cards. ANY crime we send you to .... Tierra Del Fuego. Unless it's a truly violent one and then a very secure prison and labor gangs.
See what happens.

This fanatical spending seems so unfair to US taxpayers. I just found out that a medicine my husband needs is over $3,000 per dose, and most likely we will get little or no financial help. We have both worked since teenagers and just retired a couple of years ago at 65. I'm at a loss . . .

Like #3 said. The corrupt government lifter democrats really want the votes from their illegal alien parasites. Yet none of my and other taxpayer money for my fellow veterans who are wounded. It's a damn shame but that's the installed Brandon regime for you.

Add this $451 billion to the $1 trillion required to service the national debt and we have $1.5 trillion all the way down the rabbit hole.

That's half a trillion wasted on third world invaders, a whole trillion wasted on paying interest on the growing national debt and at least a trillion spent on attempting to change the world's climate. Pretty soon we will get into wasting some real money. None of these boondoggles is going to get cheaper anytime soon. I remember having this discussion in the early 1990s when the national debt was approaching 3 trillion, now it's over 30 trillion. It's not wrong to wish for the good old days.

I'm sure God has a special place for Obama...for all the destruction to our southern border he has caused...his attempt at thinning out the white population won't work...WE here in flyover country will deal with it....

During the Bush administration the left said migrants cost the taxpayer 94 billion. With 2 million plus flowing through the southern border the price for taxpayers' is certain to increase. This may be a low estimate on cost to America. One example is the shop lifting incidents in the Democrat run cities that set the prosecution for shop lifting at about
the cost under the Bush administration for migrants in the country was listed at 90 billion. I figure this is a low estimate as there is 2+ million in the country that flowed across the southern border. That's a low estimate as we don't really know how many 'got aways' there really are.

The real cost will be double that, easily.
And eventually ensure the total destruction of the nation.

It’s going to cost true taxpayers a lot more if the migrants (illegal aliens) are granted a Democrat designed “path to citizenship” amnesty and become future leftist and socialist Democrat supporters and voters by the tens of millions, making it possible for the leftist and socialist Democrats to stay in political power permanently and implement Obama’s dream of transforming America, you can bet your boots on that!

How come we don't pay healthcare and accommodations to legal immigrants??? I guess they get punished because they have to provide for it for themselves. What a country we have become!
