A North American Aerospace Defense Command fighter craft and helicopter scrambled to intercept a civilian aircraft that had flown into restricted airspace over President Biden’s Delaware home, where he is staying this weekend. The fighter craft and MH-65 swooped in around 2:25 p.m. Saturday and escorted the craft to the ground, NORAD officials told the Delaware News Journal. The NORAD jet shot off flares in order to flag down the civilian craft’s pilot, which, while harmless, may have been visible to concerned people on the ground, the defense organization said.

President Joe Biden is just as low in the White House’s internal polls as in any of the public ones. Whenever aides stress over the numbers in their weekly political meetings, Mike Donilon — for decades, Biden’s top political adviser — is the consistent voice of the president’s innermost circle, according to people who have heard him. Biden’s numbers, Donilon says, are pretty much where they were this far out from the 2022 midterms and all the doubts sounded the same; but the president’s team pursued its own careful approach to the campaigns and then saw Democrats exceed expectations.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken contends that Hamas would gain no “greater” victory “than allowing its brutality to send us down a path of terrorism and nihilism. We must not let it.” You can hear echoes of Barack Obama’s insufferable moral equivalencies imbued in that statement. The contention is a not-so-subtle warning to Israel, who will almost surely enter Gaza and try to dismantle the Hamas terror state — which has been indirectly and directly funded not only by Iran, the European Union, and the United Nations but also by the Obama and Biden administrations. The insinuation, of course, is that Israel needs to temper its inclination to engage in “terrorism and nihilism.

Because I was a historian by trade, I wrote a lot of history. And most people tell me they really enjoy grounding my articles in history. I intend to continue doing it. I do it mainly because history is an actual record of what happened on earth in the past. We study history to learn the good and the bad, the wise and the otherwise, which works and doesn’t. History teaches us those things. However, we have not learned very well because most people don’t study history very much.

Michael Cohen once said he’d take a bullet for Donald Trump. But the drastic change between then and now was made apparent when the onetime fixer and personal attorney testified last week as a key witness in the fraud trial that could take down Trump’s business empire. Cohen’s highly anticipated testimony publicly pitted him against his former client, marking the first time the pair had come face-to-face since they became estranged. It demonstrated just how embittered each man has become.

In 2012, then-president Barack Obama announced new U.S. sanctions against foreign banks that helped Iran sell its oil. He said the sanctions would increase pressure on Iran for failing to meet its international nuclear obligations. “If the Iranian government continues its defiance, there should be no doubt that the United States and our partners will continue to impose increasing consequences.” Sanctions on Iran played well in the MSM. In 2013 in Jerusalem, Obama spoke about Israel’s security. He told Israelis, “Strong and principled diplomacy is the best way to ensure that the Iranian government forsakes nuclear weapons.

Mike Johnson might have been an obscure, four-term congressmember before Wednesday, but if Democrats have their way, he will soon be well-known by every American — as an election denier, an anti-abortion extremist and a slasher of Social Security and Medicare. Johnson hadn’t officially been elected speaker before the Democratic opposition research machinery went full tilt. Democrats have spent the last few days sifting through old shows from Johnson’s time as a podcast host and previously authored editorials in his local newspaper.

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres gave a speech at the UN General Assembly Tuesday and excused the October 7 terrorist attack carried out by Hamas on thousands of innocent Israeli citizens. At least two hundred people are being held hostage by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip and 33 Americans have been killed."The attacks by Hamas did not happen in a vacuum," Guterres said, falsely stating Gaza is under "Israeli occupation." Israel left Gaza in 2005. In 2007, the people of Gaza elected Hamas as their government, who turned the 25 mile strip into a terrorism hell hole

The Biden administration's proposed menthol cigarette ban could become a thorn in the president's side during the 2024 elections, political operatives planning to run ads attacking him have told Fox News Digital. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) initially proposed rules prohibiting menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars in April 2022 to "prevent children from becoming the next generation of smokers" and to "help adult smokers quit." After missing its August deadline, the agency said it remains a top issue, and they are nearing the end of the process. "Finalizing these two product standards remains a top priority for the FDA," Brian King, the director of the FDA's Center for Tobacco Products,

Israel had not even buried its dead from the horrifying jihadist pogrom that Hamas terrorists unleashed on Israeli civilians in south Israel -- beheading babies, burning them alive, torturing, raping, kidnapping, murdering -- before the European Union decided to reward the terrorists by tripling its assistance to Gaza. "The Commission will immediately increase the current humanitarian aid envelope foreseen for Gaza by 50 million euros," European Commission President Ursula van der Leyen said. "This will bring the total to over 75 million euros. We will continue our close cooperation with the UN and its agencies to ensure that this aid reaches those in need in the Gaza strip."

What is the Communist Party of China up to? Xi Jinping, who reveres Mao Zedong, is taking a page from his hero's "peasant revolution" playbook. Mao in 1949 prevailed over his enemy, Chiang Kai-shek's Nationalist government, by "encircling the cities from the countryside." Ukraine, North Africa, and Israel, as Beijing sees it, are parts of the "countryside" today. So, what is the "city"? The main enemy of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is the United States of America.

Most likely, you’ll find out if two kids get into a fight, both get suspended, regardless of whether one was a punk bully who started it and the other was simply defending himself or some little kid. This is a moral disaster, of course – violence in the defense of what is right is a moral obligation and a symbol of a greater rot within society. On Friday evening, Harvard President Claudine Gay gave a speech to Harvard Hillel that was adapted in Forward. Gay forthrightly admitted that Harvard has an anti-Semitism problem: Here in the U.S., we are witnessing a surge in anti-Jewish incidents and rhetoric across the nation — and on our own campus. The ancient specter of antisemitism, that persistent and corrosive hatred, has returned with renewed force. A recent ADL report found that incidents of antisemitism had almost tripled over the past six years nationally. Here at Harvard, I’ve heard story after story of Jewish students feeling increasingly uneasy or even threatened on campus.

The United Auto Workers (UAW) will end its strike against the Big Three as the labor union has reportedly reached a tentative agreement with General Motors (GM). The UAW had, in the last few days, reached similar deals with Ford and Stellantis. On Monday morning, reports circulated that the UAW had reached a deal with GM. According to details available, the deal mimics many components of the union’s deal with Ford, where base wages will increase 25 percent through April 2028. Likewise, the deal reinstates benefits that GM’s auto workers have not enjoyed since the Great Recession, such as cost-of-living allowances, a three-year wage progression, and an elimination of wage tiers

Police across Maine were alerted just last month to 'veiled threats' by the U.S. Army reservist who would go on to carry out the worst mass shooting in the state's history, after concerns he would 'snap and commit a mass shooting'. The revelations came as more than 1,000 people packed a cavernous church on Sunday night, with hundreds more spilling outside, to hug, sing, weep and seek comfort in the wake the state's most deadly mass shooting.

“This machine cannot be stopped,” declared Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant earlier today. At the very least, Israel will not stop the IDF, now fully unleashed in Gaza, short of total victory. Instead, Gallant offered Hamas a different deal, which sounds remarkably like Hamas’ true ‘offer’ to the Israelis. “Die or surrender” sums both up nicely, no? This is the same ‘deal’ that Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran have offered Israel for decades. It’s the same deal that the other Arab nations offered between 1947 and roughly 1979, too. For the last sixteen years, Israel has hoped that withdrawal from Gaza might moderate those enemies similarly as Egypt and Jordan moderated
