Israel has agreed to delay its impending ground invasion of Gaza until the U.S. can establish air defenses to protect U.S. troops throughout the region.
The Pentagon has requested that Israel hold off until they can deploy nearly a dozen air-defense systems to the region, the Wall Street Journal first reported. The missile deployments, which are expected to be completed in the coming days, are intended to shield U.S. troops serving in Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates from enemy rockets and missiles. While the status of humanitarian aid available to Gazans and the release of hostages are still national concerns

Trouble. The Israelites are wondering why they have to listen to America when fighting their war. Well, here's why. They've been doing okay so far, right? Good grief!

BS. The US is buying time to negotiate the price we have to pay terrorists for return of our citizens held hostage and for an interim period of quiet before the same terrorists do the same thing again. When did status-quo stability become the highest moral good on the decision tree?

Only positive I can see from the delay is that it gives the anti-terror units time to search basements and tunnels for hostages before a massive invasion. Small unit search would seem more effective than exposing tens of thousands of Israeli troops to Hamas snipers and mines. Israeli drones are surely watching specific buildings for unusual foot/vehicle traffic.
Drawbacks to appeasing Biden include:
A. Moves focus away from the atrocities of October 7th. Media coverage of a November assault will make little mention for the reason of the assault.
B. Gives Hamas more time to set boobytraps and barriers. And to replenish ammunition.
C. Also increases risk to the 200 hostages who need food, medical care and relief from Hamas torture.
D. The 300,00 reservists pulled away from their jobs are not working at those jobs.

I don’t trust the current administration one bit. They’ll delay deployment in hopes of stalling the Israelis and in the meantime Hamas will be reinforcing their terrorism apparatus.

Bibi, never let the spoken intentions of this gang at the White House interfere with your good, solid reasoning, in other words: don't put the phone down until the equipment is on your soil
the Chicoms don't want you to succeed and neither does Soviet Russia and, really, neither does the bidenista gang at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave

Biden bucking for the Nobel Peace Price? After all, he’ll get, what, a million dollars. Would he sacrifice Israel for his own boost in the polls? He’d sacrifice anything to win(?) again.

Why are there no defensive air defense systems in place now to protect US troops? I bet it has something to do with Biden and the Democrats having removed those systems that certainly were deployed during the Iraq war?

"The Pentagon has requested that Israel hold off until they can deploy nearly a dozen air-defense systems to the region,"
Next, The HairSniffer will slow-walk getting the systems into place. Supply-chain problems and parts shortages, ya know.
Anything to please The HairSniffer's advisors, who are in the pay of Iran.

Why are war strategies being played out in the media? Everyone knows they cannot be trusted with the truth. Furthermore, Bibi, please take it from an American, never trust Joseph Biden, ever. He is not your friend and is only loyal to the one who pays him the most. He uses the death of his son to enrich himself politically because that’s the kind of guy he is. He would think nothing about betraying you or your plans. Tell him nothing. He is not trustworthy.

This is a mistake. Biden Admin can draw out the action giving time for Hamas to entrench and rearm, and for Iran and Hezbollah to get into position.

Biden and Blinken said Israel is not getting the munitions or the money, unless they delay the ground invasion. It was not a request.

It should not be lost on anybody that Israel is ready and able to wipe out Hamas and we are not able to defend ourselves. We have depleted our arms and given it to Ukraine (and the Taliban in Afghanistan). We have a woke military that cares more about catering to transsexuals than doing their jobs. Biden is a world laughing stock and we are sitting ducks. Israel should not listen to anything the Biden Administration says. Go for it.

FTA: “ The missile deployments, which are expected to be completed in the coming days, are intended to shield U.S. troops serving in Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates from enemy rockets and missiles.” IOW, they are to defend those who wish Israel harm. Please don’t listen to the fossilized skin suit squatting in the People’s House, Bibi. His masters will guarantee the destruction of your country.

The request for delays reminds me of Iraq when we talked and talked about sending troops, but did nothing, thereby giving them plenty of time to relocate the WMD to Syria.
