A new study out of Norway is exactly what was needed to shut down the climate alarmists. Its findings show that man has not set fire to his home planet. Right from the top, in the abstract not 10 lines into the study, the authors get to the point. “Using theoretical arguments and statistical tests we find,” the researchers say, “that the effect of man-made CO2 emissions does not appear to be strong enough to cause systematic changes in the temperature fluctuations during the last 200 years.” In other words, our words, the greenhouse effect is so weak

FINALLY! In the last few months more and more are coming out and saying it. I've been saying it for years. A few have said over the years that they don't believe in anthropological global warming but they still believe the climate is getting warmer. I have always considered that a cop out. I don't believe the climate is getting warmer. The global warming "scientists" have been caught in lies over and over about temperatures. They throw out all the data that doesn't support their preconceptions. When the temperature declines they conspire to "hide the decline". And the NYT refuses to cover the story because the emails that revealed that conspiracy were obtained in a manner that they considered illegal and they "don't report on illegally acquired information". Except for Trump's tax returns and his other private documents. And an illegal recording of Newt's phone call. I could go on. BTW, I am an advocate for Transient Radiated Mobile Psuedo Wide Network. And I'm looking for an acronym. Any suggestions?

History: Ecclesiastics 1 - there is nothing new under the sun. Disasters have happened before and will occur again Observation - there are more people to witness events, communicate events and technology to detect events which would have gone un-noticed or un-reported century ago Wealth- People have more to lose in a disaster than ever before. We are living during the best times people have ever experienced because of the cheap energy we derive from "fossil fuels".

I pray for two things to happen. First that a critical mass of people finally realize that they have been had, duped, hoodwinked. Second, that they reflect on the larger issue of how they fell for it, and the implications for other beliefs they hold closely that were significantly a result of believing things from the same people who perpetrated the global warming fraud.

The article backs up what I've contended for years: that man has the ability to negatively impact his local environment but not the entire global climate. Yet it also acknowledged that this report is so inconvenient to the the libtards and their radical leftist agenda that they will simply ignore it and continue preaching their extremist zealotry. So the battle continues.

Now the long road to victory may be exposed. We have endured the tyranny of the "green" environmentalists run amok. The next step should be to expose the high cost and absence of benefits from the regulations they have placed on every aspect of our lives. This could be a much better world if we had never allowed the corruption of science with federal grants to advance the climate change narrative. Look at the abominable complexity this has added to your automobiles. None of that comes without high cost. Our economy could be much stronger without those regulations. We have been paying a high cost for allowing this travesty for year over year for over half a century.

This has been known for decades. Its called Beer's law. This states that the absorption of light is logarythmically dependant on concentration. As concentration doubles transmittance decreases by half. CO2 absorbs ir energy, but the magor effect occurs below 100 ppm. At 400 ppm a doubling of CO2 to 800 ppm would result in less tha a 2% increase in heat reflection. Its like putting a piece of cardboard over a window. The first piece decreases the light by a huge amount but adding a second piece blocks only a little more putting a third, fourth or fifth piece over the window will have almost no effect at all. The models know this so they add "forcings" , secondary effects that multiply the CO2 effect. And its funny that every one of those forcings is positive, they all add to warming. To believe the models you have to believe that a climate that has been incredibly stable ( plus or minus 6 or7 degrees C, think about it) for at least 1 billion years has no negative feedback to prevent runaway warming or cooling. Absolutely ridiculous, the fact that the planet has never suffured runaway warming in a billion years is, in itself, proof the models cannot be correct.

Guess you can't hide the truth for too long. Always wondered what they were thinking in Russia, India and China since it seemed they didn't follow the same path as the Western countries. It's as if they were too stupid to see the predictions from the models, or they knew something that the rest of us weren't being told. And, considering China and India produce massive numbers of engineers, I figured they weren't too stupid.

Madness: It’s Pointless And Dangerous

This weekend, hundreds of millions of Americans will dutifully set their clocks back one hour, convincing themselves that they’ve “gained” an hour – despite spending at least part of it resetting all their timepieces. Americans should instead refuse to play along. Few government mandates combine such utter pointlessness and serious public health harms than the twice-a-year switch on and off Daylight Saving Time. It’s time to end the madness. First, despite its label, “Daylight Saving Time” does not save daylight. It doesn’t even save energy. Two studies looked at energy use before and after changes in DST laws.

Whether it’s the Russia-Ukraine war, or the Israeli-Hamas war, NATO remains a big part of U.S. decision-making. Indeed, the U.S.-led postwar alliance has lasted 75 years, and it’s fair to say that nearly everything the U.S. does overseas involves NATO, directly or indirectly. But increasingly, average Americans are uneasy about the alliance, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. A significant number of Americans, though not yet a majority, feel the burdens of the U.S.’ NATO leadership as unfairly distributed, according to the online I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,378 adults taken from Sept. 27-29 The first question was

It’s been quite clear for more than two decades that some people in the West just have to have global warming. They want it. They need it. It’s their oxygen. It is to these close-minded, irrational, sometimes neurotic and too-often grifting people that we dedicate this editorial. Barack Obama owns a pair of coastal mansions that will be underwater within years if some of the warming alarmists’ forecasts are correct.

Friday afternoon, the Treasury Department reported that, despite a growing economy and low unemployment, the federal deficit shot up by $320 billion in fiscal year 2023. That’s unusual. But what’s really bizarre is why the deficit exploded. According to the report, overall spending actually dropped by 2% compared with 2022 as the COVID-19 spending splurge abated. What drove up the deficit this year was a sudden and completely unexpected 9% drop in tax revenues. Not only did revenues come up hundreds of billions lower than last year, but they were well below what everybody expected them to be.

Look around at what’s happening with wind energy: “California’s Central Coast residents work to stop — or at least slow down — offshore wind.” California believes that by 2045 it can operate its electrical grid without contributions from fossil fuels and nuclear energy. To get there, one-fourth of the power must be generated by offshore wind. This CalMatters report,

Hong Kong, not long ago a fishing village, a “barren island” with no natural resources, became an economic powerhouse with one of the world’s highest standards of living. Meanwhile, the Gaza Strip has been described as a hellhole. There’s a reason the two are so different: The former chose to pursue prosperity while peacefully coexisting for a half century next to a territory-acquisitive communist regime, the latter chose to consume itself with hatred toward its neighbor. Modern Hong Kong began to take shape in the 1950s. It now has one of the highest concentrations of wealth in the world. But it wasn’t always a paradise teeming with human capital.

This is the same ‘deal’ that Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran have offered Israel for decades. It’s the same deal that the other Arab nations offered between 1947 and roughly 1979, too. For the last sixteen years, Israel has hoped that withdrawal from Gaza might moderate those enemies similarly as Egypt and Jordan moderated
