Attorney Jenna Ellis, a frequent media presence in her false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump, pleaded guilty today in the Georgia election case.
Ellis, who was a former legal adviser to Trump, plead guilty to a single felony charge of aiding and abetting false statements and writing.
She was sentenced to five years probation, $5,000 restitution and 100 hours of community service. “I believe in and I value election integrity,” Ellis said in court. “If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post-election challenges. I look back on this whole experience with deep remorse.”

Wow. Just wow. I am out of words to express my feeling for the scum and villainy running this country. No one expresses "deep remorse" for the Russian Dossier, Censoring the Hunter Laptop story, Censoring the Wuhan Lab leak theory, etc., etc., etc. There is only remorse for trying to save the country from a very obviously stolen election.

The Establishment put the shock collar on her. It looks like they’ve effectively removed the right to counsel.

The criminals in the Georgia "legal system" massively abusing their powers for political purposes. This is a massive mscarriage of justice.
Guilty of trying to get fair elections.
Guilty of opposing the election fraud machine in Georgia.
Guilty of.....NOTHING.

The lady pled guilty to illegit criminal charges so as not to end up in prison ....and she knows it. This is all out law fare by corrupt people . She is out of money and started ragging on President Trump months ago to help get this plea. Sorry for her devolving into just another version of Cohen. I would like to know what she knows now that she didn't know then. I'm guessing the difference between prison and community service.

I listened to her for several hours describing fraud that she claimed evidence for. I would dearly like to hear "what she knows now that she didn't know then."
There really was a flood in the Fulton County voting hall?
They did not send ballot watchers home on false pretenses after all?
They didn't tape pizza boxes to the voting hall windows?
Trucks did not dump thousands of ballots in the voting hall at 3a.m?
How could you possibly get such facts wrong?
I didn't know Atty Elis before President Trump made her famous and I don't care where she goes.

If aiding and abetting false statements is a crime, the entire staff of MSNBC should be locked away on Devil's Island for 20 years.

I got no further than "Attorney Jenna Ellis, a frequent media presence in her false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump..."
Another Trump supporter made to submit to the fascism of the deep state unless she wants her to be bankrupt and have her life totally destroyed. Sickening, sickening, sickening. And the beat goes on with nary a word from republicans.

I understand the realistic posture of these defendants. The choice is to bankrupt yourself and your family and risk jail time in a court setting that would make a North Korean courtroom look fair.
Not sure what "dirt" they can bring on Pres Trump. Ms. Ellis and any member of the bar should claim attorney-client privilege at any time they are called to testify against Pres Trump.
It is in President Trump and any other defendant's best interests to delay these proceedings as long as possible to move them past the 2024 elections. It is obvious that they are nothing more than using the legal system to damage and supress political opposition.
At least Hillary Clinton is honest -- she's publicly saying that she wants her opponents in re-education camps and silenced.

No doubt, this is also an attempt to intimidate any lawyer who has the audacity to represent Donald Trump. The idea is, "You could be next!" Their ultimate goal--to deny him the right to competent counsel.

What she said is "I knew I would not get a fair trial in Georgia, and I signed onto this to keep my ass out of jail
She joins the ranks of a lot of innocent people who make deals with the devil.

This is a bit off topic but it is related. No one that I know of has asked the question, when is it legal to store ballots in suitcases? My opinion is that they must be stored in special containers that are secure and are to be opened with both parties present. I have not ever heard that it was legal to store ballots in a Samsonite suitcase underneath a skirted table. Pull them out with no republicans present and run them through the tabulators multiple times.
Democrats are using extreme law fare that they not only invented, but are experts at. They get away with it because prosecutors and judges are as as corrupt as they are. One rarely mentioned factor also is a feckless Republican Party that has zero ideas on how to combat this or expose it. Now with these guilty pleas, they will never stick their necks out to fight election fraud. Our side is absolutely gutless.

I’m hereby claiming the election was stolen from President Trump too! Come arrest me, send me to cartoon court, lock me up. All Trump supporters should bowl their courts over with honesty.

This is the General Mike Flynn treatment. "We will bankrupt you, go after your son if you don't do what we tell you to do." Jenna didn't have the money to fight the government goons! And probably she had to say what she said, to keep out of prison. These evil people will one day get the punishment for what they have done to righteous people like Jenna.

if they were dems, they could fight the charges in court, as someone would provide funding for the attorneys. Most likely the money is sourced from US Govt tax dollars funneled to non profit organizations that support all things dem. Disappointing that they are all accepting plea deals of guilt.
