Of Course Public Offices Are for Sale

Joe Biden's corruption is outdone only by the mainstream media's commitment to hide it from the public. Why propagandists posing as journalists would feel the need to continue covering for China Joe and his quid-pro-quo mafia family is a mystery (although reporters are so addicted to censoring truth and spreading disinformation that they probably don't know how to behave differently). To be sure, the public has known about the Biden Crime Family's notorious racketeering activities for decades. When a lifetime politician supposedly living on a "public servant's" salary becomes filthy rich, no thinking person has difficulty understanding that corruption is somehow involved.

The sad fact is that there are dozens of politicians who are only in office to feather their own nest and the gullible ignorant voters return them to office decade after decade.

Many years ago I had a friend employed by a company that worked for the navy. The company put up buildings, installed and repaired infrastructure and was generally useful at a base north of Los Angeles. A new base commander began to make demands, expensive demands that the company could not cover. Base commander was a real SOB. What to do? The company owner packed $5k (real money back then) into a briefcase and went to an appointment with his representative in the capitol building in D.C. He put the briefcase next to the rep's desk, explained the situation and then departed leaving the case behind. Two weeks later the problem was solved with money advancd early out of sequence, and gratifying to the company owner, a bunch of negative junk was dumped into the base commander's personnel package. Supposedly he was never the same after that. So, yes, politicians are for sale.i

It appears so easy to get rich in office that I ask has any DC politician left DC without having become wealthy?

Hunter Biden sued the IRS after whistleblowers revealed he did not pay taxes on millions of dollars in international money schemes and was given a sweetheart deal from far left investigators. The whistleblowers released the shocking truth to the American public. So Hunter Biden is suing them. Hunter claims the whistleblowers embarrassed him when they reported the truth on his illicit business dealings. Business Insider reported: Hunter Biden, US President Joe Biden’s son, has filed a lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)

Jann Wenner is a giant of rock music history, even though he never fronted a band, composed a hit song, or produced a gold record. As the co-founder of Rolling Stone magazine, Wenner became a tastemaking publisher; for years, anybody who was anybody in popular music got a mention in Rolling Stone. Wenner’s clout also allowed him to co-found the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Wenner is also a devoted man of the left. Rolling Stone’s coverage has always been unabashedly left-wing, and its co-founding publisher earned his bona fides protesting in Berkley’s Free Speech Movement and working for hippie rags like Ramparts.

Senators Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas), Roger Wicker (R-Mississippi), Susan Collins (R-Maine), and Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) have penned a letter to Joe Biden, urging him to send MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) to Ukraine. The senators argue that not doing so will “only prolong the war” between Ukraine and Russia. The senators’ proposal is misguided and perilous for the United States and global stability. The senators’ letter comes on the heels of the Senate Armed Services Committee’s unanimous approval for the Department of Defense to send long-range missiles to Ukraine.

Disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok said there needs to be a special unit to protect FBI agents from Americans. It’s a number we’ve never had before,” she told lawmakers. Peter Strzok took it to another level and said the FBI needs an entire unit to protect agents from American citizens. The FBI recently formed a unit to investigate threats against prosecutors and FBI agents involved in the Hunter Biden probe. “We have stood up an entire threat unit to address threats that the FBI employee facilities are receiving,” executive director for human resources for the FBI Jennifer Moore told the House Judiciary Committee. Moore said threats to the FBI are “unprecedented.”

Amid the sea of blue city chaos in Oakland, it's come to this: What began as another enclave of folks seeking a low-cost alternative to high San Francisco Bay area housing prices, has turned the Oakland estuary into a pirate's nest. Rogue live-aboards have been stealing from infrequently visited boats docked in the marina, surrounding businesses, homes, and each other. The situation has become such that the United States Coast Guard has been called in to police the matter. The Coast Guard will bring sea and air power to the table. The pirates stand little chance. Oakland Mayor Thao says, "There has to be justice." Get ready for something comical or tragic.

Having previously read and his manifesto some years ago, I have been revisiting the Unabomber's treatise on technology and its toxic effects on society and individual psychology. (I feel compelled -- not out of moral obligation, because I believe any rational person is capable of separating the message from the messenger but because of rampant targeting by the state of so-called "domestic terrorists," a category to which I have surely been relegated on some government list somewhere – to caution that I do not endorse mailing bombs or any variety of offensive violence in any form.) Here he is taking a magnifying glass and a razor-sharp scalpel to leftist psychology.

As Spencer wrote on Thursday, the looming gun charges that were part of that aborted sweetheart plea deal for Hunter returned in the form of new indictments, courtesy of Special Counsel David Weiss. Don’t be fooled. Hunter isn’t going to face any legal reckoning or jail time. It’s another legal shield supplied by Weiss, who’s been talking out of both sides of his mouth throughout this fiasco. Yes, he tried to charge Hunter, but he also allowed some of the more serious tax violations to atrophy, thanks to the statute of limitations. He was a driving force behind the original sweetheart deal that got wrecked

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) isn’t high on Kamala Harris as vice president, and her recent remarks might have revealed how most Democrats feel about the other half of the 2024 ticket. The California liberal and former House Speaker even went so far as to insinuate that her true feelings wouldn’t matter, as the office of the VP doesn’t do much. Technically, that is true, as most times, we don’t have to worry about the VP since the president usually can do the job. Biden cannot—and it’s a bit alarming thinking about Harris in charge and control of the nuclear arsenal (via Fox News):

Ho hum. The debacle in Albuquerque is both boring and amusing. On September 8, New Mexico Governor Lujan Grisham announced a “public health emergency” 30-day ban on carrying firearms in the City of Albuquerque with the threat she would extend it further if she so chooses. Why boring? Because the outcome of this silly move was determined from the git-go. Why amusing? Many of us smile, snicker, and yawn. It’s amusing because the follow-up to the Governor’s declaration developed according to the established pattern. The Chief of Police of Albuquerque, the Sheriff of Bernalillo County, and the Attorney General of the State of New Mexico have all announced

A U.S. fighter jet’s stealth abilities appear to be working too well, with authorities forced to ask the public for help finding an F-35 that went missing somewhere over South Carolina when the pilot ejected because of a “mishap.” Joint Base Charleston, an air base in North Charleston, said it was working with Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort to "locate an F-35 that was involved in a mishap" Sunday afternoon. Biden's lawsuit seeks for the court to declare that the IRS "willfully, knowingly, and/or by gross negligence, unlawfully disclosed Mr. Biden's confidential tax information." In addition, Biden is demanding $1,000 in damages for "each and every unauthorized disclosure of his tax returns,"

The assumption was that he was the unfortunate victim of a careless driver who fled the scene. By August 31, the media had access to the video recorded in real time by the passenger in the vehicle. It is chilling. The driver and his companion, both males, had apparently stolen the Hyundai

The nightmare started in July of 1980 at the GOP convention in Detroit. After negotiations with former President Gerald Ford for a coequal ticket failed, the party’s nominee, Ronald Reagan, turned to his vanquished competitor to unite the party. He chose George H.W. Bush as his running-mate; the rest is history. Reagan was a principled conservative, an excellent communicator, and a generation leader. His two terms were highly successful, and he left office with high approval ratings and eight years of impressive accomplishments. He was so popular that his bland and uninspiring Vice President was elected in 1988 as a third Reagan term. Yet, Bush was nothing like Ronald Reagan.
