Looks like the Democrats and the media are already trying to spin evidence that's been coming out in the Hunter Biden probe. I wrote earlier about how Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) dropped some reality on a reporter trying to say that Americans didn't see the "evidence" against Joe Biden. There's some new information being reported concerning the transcript out of testimony of FBI Agent Thomas Sobocinski regarding the probe into Hunter Biden. That information is not good for the Democrats and the Bidens. House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jerry Nadler (D-NY), citing The Washington Post, was already trying to spin

A union representing nearly 150,000 autoworkers launched a strike early Friday morning against the Big 3 U.S. automakers -- General Motors, Ford and Stellantis.
The United Auto Workers, or UAW, and the car manufacturers failed to reach a contract agreement before a deadline set by the union for Thursday at 11:59 p.m. ET. Less than two hours before the deadline, UAW president Shawn Fain announced the plants where union members would strike if a tentative agreement wasn't reached in time. By midnight Friday, that amounted to approximately 12,700 union workers, including ones at GM in Wentzville, Missouri; Stellantis in Toledo, Ohio; and Ford’s Wayne, Michigan plant.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed a bill Wednesday that officially ends the state’s ban on official travel to conservative states that had enacted laws that Democrats claim are anti-LGBTQ. The ban had been a total failure.

Florida governor Ron DeSantis is recommending state residents under the age of 65 avoid new Covid-19 booster shots created by Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna, bucking recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
On Tuesday, the CDC advised Americans six months and older who have not gotten a Covid-19 booster shot within the previous two months to get one as a precautionary measure to protect against a new subvariant of the Omicron virus strain, XBB.1.5.

Atlanta, GA—Georgia Governor Brian Kemp officially declared a state of emergency today due to high inflation and poor economic conditions in the state stemming from bad economic policies coming out of Washington, D.C. In his declaration, Kemp said he is temporarily suspending the state’s excise tax on motor and locomotive fuel. The suspension of the tax took effect at midnight this morning and will go through October 12th, 2023. This move will save everyone buying gas in Georgia approximately 29 cents per gallon. Kemp has suspended the state's gas tax before, and that suspension lasted for 10 months when it was in effect from March to December of 2022.
Ukraine has struck Russian naval targets and port infrastructure in the Crimean city of Sevastopol, in what appeared to be the biggest attack of the war on the home of the Russian navy’s Black Sea fleet.

Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday on federal gun charges out of Special Counsel David Weiss' investigation.
Biden was charged with making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm; making a false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer; and one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.

President Biden, who has never taught a single semester-long course at the University of Pennsylvania, mused on Thursday about when he used to “teach political theory” at the Ivy League school.
“Our democracy is under attack, and we got to fight for it,” Biden, 80, said during a speech at Maryland’s Prince George’s Community College.

CNN's Abby Phillip grilled Chicago Teachers Union President Stacy Davis Gates Tuesday night for sending her son to a private Catholic school while lobbying against school vouchers for needy families.
Phillip pointed out to the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) leader that she has compared private schools to the “segregation academies” of the civil rights-era south. She then asked Davis Gates why she would send her own son to a private school if she holds such a negative opinion of them.
“I didn’t speak out against private schools. I spoke out against school choice. School choice and private schools are two different entities,” Davis Gates said.
