Joe Biden was in Hanoi on Sunday, meeting with Vietnam's Communist Party leader, General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng. After the meeting, he made some remarks and took a few questions from the press. We probably don't even have to say anymore that it didn't go well, you can just assume that there are going to be big embarrassing issues. Biden started in confusion about whether it was evening there (it was). (X) I think he was trying to make a joke about "Good Morning, Vietnam," which was a famous Robin Williams movie, not a "famous song." And maybe that's not the best movie to bring up when you're in Vietnam.

When last we left the very unhinged Keith Olbermann, he was being schooled by New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers after Olbermann mocked Rodgers and his season-ending (maybe) injury and blamed it on Rodgers not getting the clot shot. Well, the permanently outraged Olbermann is now big mad about Elon Musk. Ironically, he took to X/Twitter to make his anger known, releasing a video likening Musk and Donald Trump — it wouldn't be an Olbermann rant without a Trump mention! — to Nazis and calling on the federal government to ban the social media platform.
After Biden's creepy and shameful interaction with Mexico's president, it was time for a break before heading to the actual APEC meeting scheduled for the day. That break went a little too long, though, as world leaders were left twiddling their thumbs for half an hour, wondering when things would kick off. The two are in California for the APEC conference, where a bunch of nations test the waters to see how much advantage they can take of the United States. Things didn't take long to get weird. Biden opened by telling Mexico's president that he's "so captivating" while worrying that Jill Biden might have eyes for another man. The Biden administration keeps talking about the urgent need for Israel to have a post-war plan for Gaza. What that really means is that it wants the PLO to take over Gaza. Netanyahu has opposed that for now. The Palestinian Authority is run by Fatah, the body behind the PLO, and is just another Islamic terrorist group. And parts of it claimed to have taken part in the Oct 7 massacres. But none of that is stopping the Biden administration from its obsession.
The thinking is that if the Palestinian Authority takes over Gaza, it can force negotiations on a Two-State Solution and finally bring peace by empowering terrorists.
One of the most annoying things about a lot of Joe Biden's speeches or remarks is that they are campaign speeches, trying to make him look better. So he's using our taxpayer dollars and the time he's in office to promote himself for 2024.
Even at the APEC Summit, where he's supposed to be talking about what he's done to benefit the country in terms of those relationships with other countries, he mostly repeated a lot of the same falsehoods about "Bidenomics" to promote himself for election.

On Sunday Oct 1st, a Tesla Model S [sic] was attempting to back a jet ski into the water at the Polk Street boat ramp, when it lost traction and slid into the inter-coastal [sic]. The salt water reacted with the the [sic] vehicle’s electronics causing them to short, sparking a fire that burned underwater for an extended period of time.
