The Neocons Are Back

If the obvious impacts of America's proxy war in Ukraine are lives lost and debt accrued, a quieter impact is the neoconservatives' revival. A few weeks ago, the Biden administration conferred the deputy secretary of state position on Victoria Nuland, a policymaker in almost every 21st-century American intervention abroad and an ardent supporter of our involvement in Ukraine. Recently, William Kristol, who along with Nuland's husband Robert Kagan co-founded the Project for the New American Century, which drove the push for the Iraq invasion, launched a $2-million organization, Republicans for Ukraine, encouraging congressional Republicans to fund the proxy war

War, Inc. Fun and profit for everyone...except the poor schmuck countries the neocons decide to target. Nice country the Ukrainians had there, too bad NATO decided they wanted to tweak Putin's nose.

Never saw a war they didnt like, but never saw one they were willing to risk their own lives for either. They see themselves as intellectuals. That alone makes them about worthless.

On Friday, New Mexico’s tyrannical Democrat Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham declared gun violence a public health emergency in response to the shooting deaths of a thirteen-year-old girl on July 28, a five-year-old girl on August 14, and an eleven-year-old boy on September 6. Grisham temporarily suspended open and concealed carry laws in Bernalillo County effective immediately. This action directly infringes upon law-abiding citizens’ Constitutional right to bear arms.

A powerful earthquake in Morocco has killed more than 800 people and injured hundreds more, destroying buildings and sending residents of major cities rushing from their homes in the country’s deadliest tremor in more than six decades. The magnitude 7.2 quake struck in Morocco’s High Atlas mountains late on Friday night. The Interior Ministry said 820 people had been killed and another 672 injured, in an updated casualty toll. A local official said most deaths were in mountain areas that were hard to reach. In Marrakesh, the nearest big city to the epicenter, residents spent the night in the open, afraid to go home.

The real end goal of the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Vivek Ramaswamy campaigns is a leadership position in the Trump administration. How much criticism of Trump have we heard from these two Trump political opponents? The key for Trump and for our country to win could be a powerful coalition with RFK Jr. and his millions of Democrat and Independent supporters. With that coalition, freedom will win and evil will lose! Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was born January 17, 1954. Soon after his father was assassinated in 1968, at age 14, RFK Jr. started using marijuana and psychedelic drugs.

Once upon a time, it was very fashionable to refer to critics of "sanctuary cities" as racists or "racista." We had a big debate back in 2017 when Governor Greg Abbott signed legislation that would also allow police to inquire about the immigration status of people they lawfully detain. It was a wild debate, as I recall, and calling someone a racist was very much in fashion. What the heck, I was called a "racista" on a Spanish-speaking TV interview. What did I do to earn that? I said that local communities should respect federal laws.

The other three individuals were former Georgia Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, as well as Boris Epshteyn, a top adviser to the 45th president.

Every time the oppressive authoritarians in positions of power abuse that power to make outrageous and unconstitutional demands of the American people, the leftists hop to and beg for even more obnoxious restrictions. Politicians and bureaucrats are just people (often bad people), but to leftists, they're celebrities, (needed) father figures, and the atheist's empty-suited pantheon of false gods.

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy is facing stiff opposition to the latest spending bill and might have to risk his speakership by compromising with Democrats to get it passed, according to reports. The California Republican had a rocky road to confirmation as speaker when he suffered 14 failed votes before finally winning a majority of his caucus to take the speaker’s gavel in January. McCarthy also has faced many calls to step down during his short time heading the lower chamber of Congress. But the fight over the coming vote on the budget bill is shaping up as a particularly perilous time for the speaker, according to CNN.

For those who think the truth about the crime and slime associated with Jeffrey Epstein has been deep-sixed down the memory hole, there may be another bite at this rotten apple. Mimi Lui, an attorney representing the U.S. Virgin Islands, has filed suit in federal court against JPMorgan Chase. Lui charged that over $1 billion in suspicious transactions have been reported to the U.S. Treasury since Epstein’s death and that JPMorgan Chase ignored sex-trafficking red flags over many years, thus enabling these crimes. The case will go to trial on October 23 unless a settlement is reached.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham declared a public health emergency over "gun violence" on Thursday following the death of an 11-year-old boy. On Friday, she took the unprecedented step of "suspending" gun rights in Albuquerque, the state's largest city, with the possibility of other cities following suit. Gov. Lujan Grisham declared gun violence a public health emergency Thursday, following the murder of an 11-year-old boy on his way home from an Isotopes game Wednesday night. That case, combined with several other violent cases involving children, sparked the decision. The new public health order is effective Friday, Sept. 8. After 30 days, they will evaluate

The Ladies of the View suggested on Friday that migrants should be 'resettled elsewhere' because America is a 'massive country' while discussing their disappointment with Mayor Eric Adams's handling of the crisis faced by New York City. NYC Mayor Eric Adams warned earlier this week that the 10,000 illegal asylum seekers arriving every month will 'destroy' the city. It is a stark shift for the mayor, who promised while campaigning that NYC would remain a sanctuary city under an Adams administration, saying in 2021, 'We should protect our immigrants. Period.'

Jerrod Belcher, whose six-year-old son J.B. attends Bagley Elementary School in Jefferson County, Alabama, says the school over-reacted to a game of "cops and robbers." During the game, the children made pretend guns with their fingers and said "Bang, bang" at each other.

Oil prices are surging again, but the Biden administration's biggest weapon for bringing them down has much less ammunition. Last year, the federal government drained 180 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as oil prices soared in the aftermath of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the turmoil in energy markets that followed. Flooding the market with all that supply helped bring oil prices down — and helped cool inflation, which had shot up as well. Earlier this year, the administration took some steps to start refilling the SPR. But while it has ticked up slightly, the level remains near
