For the first time in five years, far-left MSNBC beat both Fox News and CNN in total primetime viewers and 25-54-year-old viewers.
MSNBC, for the first time since 2018, beat Fox News and CNN in primetime among adults 25-54 and total viewers. It was the most-watched basic cable network in primetime this past week, averaging 1.52 million total viewers — its largest average primetime audience since the 2022 midterm elections. MSNBC also averaged 172,000 adults 25-54 in primetime, more than its cable news rivals and No. 8 on all of basic cable.

Losing to MSNBC is the ultimate ignominy. Fox is finished and good riddance.

Fox News deserves this and worse. Go to blazes, you dummies. You Murdoch's owned the evening news market and squandered it all away. How does it feel to have become another business school teaching example of what not to do?

I watch The Five and then maybe Jessie and that's it. 8:00, no thanks and no to Hannity and maybe a few minutes of Laura but don't watch the whole show. FOX blew it big time. I will check GG to see which guests he has on. This Hannity live audience is a no go for me. I find it distracting. But maybe that is just me. Hannity lost his appeal several years ago. I would watch Tucker and then just leave FOX on but not anymore. Losing to MSNBC is about as low as you can get and FOX deserves it for just being stupid. Hope Paul Ryan is loving the new numbers, nimrod.

I might catch a few minutes of Hannity and Laura waiting for Gutfeld to come on. But that's about it for FNC. Used to like Bongino and Hilton on the weekends.
You know, I could take all the folks that FNC canned and probably take over the ratings. Maybe not the 11 PM Gutfeld time slot.

Reminds me of the old joke -- how do you end up with a half a million dollars?
Start with a million dollars. Sounds like the new FNC business model.

Haven't watched Fox since election night when they called the election early (and gloated about it) before the polls closed. They're finished in my book.

Think about it, they took out Bongino and Tucker. How could anyone be so stupid? If I were a shareholder I would be pressing to have the board of directors, especially Paul RINO Ryan removed.

MSNBC did not gain viewers, Fox lost 1.5 million. In a sane world the board of directors would be gone. The majority stockholders in Fox are big investment firms like Black Rock. Tucker regularly attacked big investment firms for focusing on ESG rather that profit for their investors. Anyone sense a connection??

I faithfully tuned in to watch Tucker, left it on for Hannity but only as background noise while I prepared dinner, then finished off with Ingraham. Now I on occasion I watch Hannity as an exercise in penance but still like Ingraham. Last night on Hannity, with live audience, I endured a long segment featuring Lindsey Graham.
It reminded me of a tale Mark Steyn relates from the time when he appeared regularly on Tucker. Steyn often remarked that each time Lindsey Graham appeared on Hannity the Republicans lost several points of approval on surveys. Finally a Fox flack asked Steyn to knock it off.

That's funny. A few years ago, MSNBC was a punch line to every journalistic joke, now Fox is sharing the basement with Anheuser Busch, Chic-fil-A and Target. Tucker and his millions of fans beat the Murdochs at their own game.

Whoever decided to put Paul Ryan on the Board of Directors and anyone associated with that decision should be immediately, if not sooner, removed from the company now and NOT later. To me, that is when Fox started their decline.
Someone should also have the big shoulders to tell firms like Blackrock that if they don't like it you don't have to contribute to telling our company how or what to do.

Not surprised that Hannity loves the live audience format. He can't help but be the center of his own universe and his most annoying quality is continuously talking over his guests to show them how smart he is. The majority of his show consists of repeating news from the past, over and over and over again.

Tucker Carlson mentioned in his video the other day “the women who run Fox”. Hmmmm, very interesting comment. As a woman I want to go on record as saying women are not the best leaders. Of course some are, but on a whole, they suck especially the liberal woke ones. It’s all about feelings over facts. Women are excellent at managing a home and some careers are perfect for women, but having liberal women running a news organization is not one of them. Call me a misogynist, but that is the way I see it. If you have ever had a female boss, good or bad, you know there are women who should never be near the levers of power. Not all women, of course, but far too many.

I remember being a diehard CNN viewer as a young sailor stationed at Pearl Harbor coming off of the balls to four (Navy guys and gals know what that means) shipboard quarterdeck watch. Hearing James Earl Jones bellow "This is CNN" was a highlight of my morning. Then they became the Clinton News Network back when BJ and the PIAPS took over from a feckless GHWB as my Commander-in-Chief. Then in the late 90s a new news station called Fox News came online and with it came an all-out assault from so-called big three networks and CNN with the newly minted MSNBC following suit. Along with taxpayer funded NPR and PBS piling on. Still the network beat out everyone on primetime. Now with the death of Roger Alies, the firing of O'Reily, Beck, Bongino and Carlson. Plus, the aging of Murdoch handing the reigns to his idiot sons and the hiring of RINO loser Ryan Fox is getting beaten by 3rd rate MSNBC. It didn't help matters that they screwed up the 2015 Republican primary debate, 2020 Presidential debate and the following election results. Fox News is no longer long-term viewing in my house since they called AZ early for the Big Guy. I've deleted their app. and Rumble video channel off of my phone. They are dead to me and hopefully they start losing out to channels like News Nation. That would be funny.

Be advised, GG fans: heard on live interview that Chadwick Moore has been banned by FOXNEWS including GG. Moore wrote a book about Tucker. Release date is July 18. If you don’t recognize the name, simply look him up. Truly sad. Waiting for Judge Jeanne and Jesse to get walking papers one of these days. Paul Ryan is to blame IMO. For all of this.

Like #9 - these former Fox News viewers are not going to MSNBC. NewsMax must be picking them up - especially now that NewsMax has Greta VanSustern on at 6pm. I am kind of enjoying some of the shows on Real America's Voice on DISH.
If anyone saw Paul Ryan on CBS Morning News the other day, well, if he thinks Fox News is still a "conservative" news site, then he is even dumber that we thought although his bank account is much richer.

I miss Lou Dobbs a lot who was on Fox Business. He was fired because he was a big supporter of President Trump and MAGA! And because my man Louie Dobbs wouldn't back down from the pressure from upstairs, they yanked him off the air. That shows you how anti-Trump the Fox organization was years ago! This was a great loss for Fox and for me and others who loved watching Mr. Lou Dobbs. One smart man!
Moral of the story of Lou Dobbs firing and Tucker Carlson: Ideology over Popularism.
Note to the Murdocks: How stupid are you? As my mom used to say, "Are you cutting your nose off to spite your face?"

I am one who kept trying to support FOX following the disastrous election night travesty, prior to the firing of Tucker, because regardless of various disappointments, FOX was the only outlet that used to show Trump rallies, covered the OTHER side of the story on "Russia ec etc," Ukraine phone call, and the other endless assaults on Trump. I figured we were still on the good side of getting news and information, though the trouble was increasing.
We watched, and still do watch Maria Bartiromo where you could get the rest of the story on covid and the jab (or, poison poke). She probable helped Senator Johnson get re-elected. And we still watch Mark Levin, although we are not on the same page with his Ukraine support. Watched a few other shows periodically.
Furthermore, on FOX, Christians are able to express their faith openly! Seems odd to celebrate this as an exception to a rule. You could still see interviews with authors sharing an alternative view on any number of topics, but conservative authors, in particular.
You do not get this on the networks, and certainly not on the other cables.
On the women running the channel (Ldotter #19). When the Murdoch sons were taking over, I read an article about the spawn. One thing jumped out: the wives were much more on the Left side of the political spectrum. I told my husband FOX was in trouble. I have a little theory that the reason male politicians go all squishy is they go home, to their women and daughters, and they are pounced on Better be pro-choice! Better vote for child care. Better do this, do that, all the issues the vaunted Suburban Woman demands. And the men are nagged to pieces. Battered Male Spouse Syndrome in Congress.
Okay okay. That's my theory. The first one I put in my test-tube was Scott Brown, he flopped almost immediately --sure, he had that life-altering little basketball game with Baracky, under the stars, man-to-man (or wimp). But returning home to the womenfolk... he simply faced Scylla and Charybdis all by himself.
So the Murdoch matrons crack the whip. whatever. Those at the helm threw away a powerful outlet, where you could learn about or see stories the Left will NOT cover; "Fair and Balanced", though imperfect, was real and provided an important function.
FOX is now committing Incredibly stupid acts of self-cutting.

Fox News got so tired of Winning! Winning! Winning! that they turned over the chuck wagon and set fire to the provisions. Fox shot itself in both feet. Couldn't happen to a better former news outlet. The NYT is scooting over to give you a place down front on the Mourner's Bench.

Not only did we stop watching Fox - cold turkey - after the Tucker cancellation, we have now cancelled our satellite service. We'll save $140 per month and watch streaming services and Newsmax via Roku. We're DONE.
