The controversial transgender "Satanist" designer behind some of the Pride products that were removed from Target stores slammed the big-box retailer this week for setting a "dangerous precedent." Target initially partnered with U.K.-based brand Abprallen to sell merchandise with pro-LGBTQ messages to celebrate Pride month. However, some consumers were enraged by Target’s over-the-top Pride displays, with particular animosity geared toward the products for children. Then it was revealed that Abprallen's designer Erik Carnell appeared to be an outspoken Satanist whose brand features occult imagery and messages like "Satan respects pronouns" on brand apparel.

The dishonest, ginned–up campaign to smear originalists on the Supreme Court has always been predicated on half-truths and innuendo. But Slate’s Mark Joseph Stern is now accusing Samuel Alito of “violating” completely imaginary SCOTUS ethic “rules” in a case involving Phillips 66.
According to Stern, even when originalist justices properly disclose all their investments and then recuse themselves, they’re still corrupt. Why? “The justice did not explain his reason for recusing, one of Roberts’ promised “practices.” To obtain that information, you must dig through his financial disclosures, which reveal that he holds up to $50,000 of stock in Phillips 66, one of the parties.

Spectators are salivating at the opportunity for former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to savage each other at the Republican National Committee’s first sanctioned 2024 debate in August. Others are hoping former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will make himself into a human grenade on stage as he did with Sen. Marco Rubio in 2016.
But what if these high-profile matchups don’t happen? The RNC unveiled its qualifying criteria for the Aug. 23 debate on Friday. While it’s too early to know exactly which candidates may or may not make the stage, the various party-loyalty requirements and polling and fundraising thresholds

Polls see Germany's center-left coalition government in free fall while the far-right populist AfD is reaping the benefits. It currently polls on par with Chancellor Olaf Scholz's Social Democrats. Never before have voters in Germany been this unhappy with the current coalition government: Only one in five says they are doing a good job. The center-left Social Democrats (SPD), the Greens, and the neoliberal Free Democrats (FDP) are plummeting in the polls, after only one and a half years in office.
This is according to pollster infratest-dimap who surveyed 1300 eligible voters on May 30 and 31, 2023, and published the results in its monthly "Deutschlandtrend."

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R., Calif.) notched a victory for himself and for Republicans with Wednesday's passage of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023. The bill will raise the debt ceiling through 2025, claw back pandemic and IRS spending, improve welfare programs, speed up permitting, reinstate student loan payments, and cut non-defense discretionary spending. The bill also has an enforcement mechanism: If Congress fails to pass the required appropriations bills by January 1, overall discretionary spending will be cut by 1 percent. The legislation doesn't restore fiscal sanity to the federal budget—only changes to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid would do that—but it is a step in the right direction.

The individual behind the information that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national is a "highly credible" FBI confidential human source who has been used by the bureau in multiple investigative matters dating back to the Obama administration, Fox News Digital has learned. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley were approached by a whistleblower alleging that the FBI was in possession of a document—an FD-1023 form, dated June 30, 2020—which explicitly detailed information provided by a confidential human source alleging Biden, while serving as vice president, was involved in a $5 million criminal bribery

A new project dubbed The Facebook Receipts aims to put a harsh spotlight on the social media juggernaut’s staggering ability to influence legislation and regulation in Washington, D.C., through high-powered lobbyists. "The Facebook Receipts shows that data is power, that bringing together already open-sourced information, and the material that we've uncovered, reflects that Facebook's influence is strong in D.C., but it also goes to show that as their lobbying dollars increase, so is the energy in Congress to do something about this issue," Zamaan Qureshi told Fox News Digital.

Twitter users scorched National Security Council spokesman John Kirby for his speechless response to a question on President Biden being seen as "corrupt" by a majority of Americans. While discussing foreign-policy related issues, Kirby appeared to be taken aback after New York Post reporter Steven Nelson remarked that 53% of Americans, including approximately one fourth of Democrats, now believe that Biden was involved in "an illegal influence peddling scheme" with his son Hunter during his tenure as vice president.
"So, what do you say to the majority of Americans who believe that the president is himself corrupt?" Nelson asked.
"Wow," Kirby initially responded

With the exception of Russia and Belarus, all of the European states are members of the European Political Community (EPC), which is meeting in Moldova on Thursday to discuss solidarity with Ukraine. On Thursday, 47 heads of state and government are meeting at Mimi Castle, a winery southeast of the Moldovan capital Chisinau, for what promises to be an exciting day for Moldova, the second poorest country in Europe and one of the most recent to receive EU candidate status. The second European Political Community (EPC) summit since its founding last year poses one of the largest logistical challenges the small nation wedged between Romania and Ukraine has ever encountered.

Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Blake Treinen is the latest player on the team who does not agree with them set to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence during their Pride Night on June 16. Treinen, who is currently on the 60-day IL as he continues to recover from shoulder surgery, joined All-Star starter Clayton Kershaw as members of the organization who disapproved of the decision to add the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence back to their Pride Night event after previously removing the group.
Treinen released a lengthy statement on the matter through his friend, Sean Feucht, via Twitter.

Here’s a novel concept: The FBI is not above the law. In theory, of course, it’s true, as in no American is above the law. But is it really true in the sense that its leaders can be brought to justice if they break the law? That’ll be the day. Ever hear of Jim Comey, Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok? They were J. Edgar Hoover without the charm, spied on a presidential campaign without sufficient evidence, lied to the courts and never paid a price. In fact, each got a lot richer thanks to the big shots who monetize the Hate Donald Trump fan clubs in cable TV and publishing

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is furious at Twitter after a parody account of the congresswoman began to go viral, claiming CEO Elon Musk is behind its recent traffic.
"FYI there’s a fake account on here impersonating me and going viral," AOC wrote in a post Tuesday.
"The Twitter CEO has engaged it, boosting visibility," she said, suggesting Musk is helping push the account across the platform. "It is releasing false policy statements and gaining spread. I am assessing with my team how to move forward. In the meantime, be careful of what you see.”
