Ron DeSantis Clinches Another Win for

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to announce his 2024 candidacy tonight, coming on the heels of a new immigration enforcement measure that has some illegals leaving Florida. We must secure the border and deport people who shouldn’t be here. Joe Biden and the Democrats think otherwise, creating a humanitarian crisis at the southern border. It’s an invasion. And with Democrats occupying the White House, Republican governors are our best hope to curb the flow of illegal immigration until the next election. On July 1, new measures in the Sunshine State will greatly degrade the ability of illegal aliens to move and live among us freely.

All Red States should enact this law & drive the illegals into the Blue. This would keep costs in the black for the Red & put the Blue into the red. The Blues will thank US for helping dem virtue signal. Win/Win.

Say what you want about him, DeSantis has been good for the residents of Florida. Interesting timing to show his anti-illegal chops, coming out of the gate.

After watching the interview with Trey Gowdy Governor DeSantis has my vote. I will be contributing to his campaign in the morning. He is smart, principled, fearless and a true patriot. He also never resorts to name calling and mocking. DeSantis is the adult in room.

I agree with #3. DeSantis covered everything beautifully. I can see why Trump is worried.

I think Governor Ron is going to catch on with the electorate. I love DJT, best president of my lifetime, in a fair world he would return to Washington in glory and vanquish all the b^st^rds. But I really don't think that's in the cards. Perhaps the God Who looks out for fools, drunks and the United States of America has provided us with someone who can continue the work so nobly begun by Donald Trump.

Representative Jerry Nadler (D-NY) sure seems carefree about World War III potentially starting over Ukraine. On Thursday, a reporter caught up with the septuagenarian, who promptly spilled the beans that he would not care whatsoever if Ukraine invaded Russia, let alone if they did so with U.S.-supplied weapons. “Are you concerned that they will enter into Russian territory?” The Epoch Times’ Liam Cosgrove said of Ukraine. “I’m not concerned. I wouldn’t care if they did,” Nadler said. After the reporter explained that Russia could view this as a U.S.-backed invasion of Russia, the congressman was dismissive and even smirked about the intensification of the war.

A combination of physical therapy and neurological implants has restored a man’s control over his lower body after 12 years of paralysis. Gert-Jan Oskam was living in China in 2011 when he was in a motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed from below his hips. Now, a combination of brain and spinal implants have acted as a “digital bridge,” bypassing damaged parts of his spinal cord to help him to stand and walk, even over steep inclines. At first, he was walking with the aid of a walker. However, the treatment also seems to have induced neurological recovery — more recently, Oskam has regained the ability to walk with crutches,

Meanwhile, in St. Louis, Missouri, where Anheuser-Busch is headquartered, the company is listed as the presenting sponsor of the St. Louis Pride Parade. While the push has been on in woke Democratic circles to shove Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) out the door before her last term in office is over, there has also been a coordinated effort among Feinstein’s “allies” to make sure she doesn’t. The reasons are obvious but nevertheless intriguing even to those not predisposed to obsessing over the finer points of behind-the-scenes political machinations. The most vocal proponent on the “Feinstein must retire” side has been Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), who is rumored to be considering a future run for president but who for now seems content with being the co-chair for Rep. Barbara Lee’s (D-Calif.) 2024 Senate run.

On Tuesday, a U-Haul crashed into a barricade outside the White House grounds. Immediately, speculation that the driver was a “white supremacist” after a Nazi flag was allegedly pulled from the wreck. In fact, the flag was spread out and displayed for reporters by the FBI agents on the scene. Why did they do that? Someone will have to ask them, but the narrative became a lot more complicated after the driver was identified as Sai Varshith Kandula. Needless to say, he didn’t exactly fit the “white supremacist” profile. Now, in a move that is sure to spark much speculation, the DOJ has suddenly downgraded the charges involved.

Left-wing Hollywood killed the movie star, and now the chickens are coming home to roost. Nevertheless, even as outlets like the far-left Variety finally admit to this problem, do not expect anyone to admit to the real reasons. “Hollywood Grapples With Loss of Young Star Power,” reads the headline. The story explains the problem this way… “The hottest package at this year’s Cannes Film Festival stars a 76-year old action star and is a reboot of a movie that first dazzled moviegoers in 1993.” Variety is talking about Sylvester Stallone and his hit movie Cliffhanger. Yep, Cliffhanger 2 is the biggest deal at a prestigious worldwide film festival:

The White House on Thursday released a broad national strategy to fight antisemitism, describing the initiative as unprecedented in scope amid a surge in anti-Jewish crime. However, the White House evaded an increasingly contentious debate over how to define antisemitism, avoiding a clear endorsement of a mainstream, widely accepted definition while simultaneously welcoming an alternative pushed by progressives who argue the former doesn't allow sufficient space to criticize Israel, the world's only Jewish state. The 60-page document details four pillars that undergird the strategy: increasing awareness and understanding of antisemitism and appreciation of Jewish American heritage,

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., slammed the Supreme Court's ruling Thursday that limited the Environmental Protection Agency's ability to regulate bodies of water, calling it a "MAGA" court even though the decision was 9-0. On Thursday, the high court issued an opinion that narrowed the EPA's broad definition of Waters of the United States (WOTUS). The court said the federal government must define WOTUS as a water source with a "continuous surface connection" to major bodies of water. The decision upended an attempt by the Biden administration to regulate wetlands, lakes, ponds, streams and other "relatively permanent" waterways, which had relied on a broad reading of the EPA's authority

The current reports of executive branch illegality make Watergate look like kindergarten mischief. It is clear from the Durham report and the work of House Republican hearings that the current scandals in the Biden White House – and senior bureaucracies at the Justice Department, IRS, and elsewhere – are much deeper and more cancerous than Watergate ever was. It may be hard to remember, but Watergate came about due to a weird, dumb, and fairly narrow set of criminal behaviors which mushroomed into 69 officials being indicted and 48 imprisoned. I remember Watergate vividly, because I first ran for Congress in 1974 during the Watergate scandal.

A week ago Wednesday before the controversy erupted, Target’s stock closed at $160.96 a share, giving the big-box chain a market capitalization of $74.3 billion. As of early trading on Thursday, however, shares of the company were trading off 1% at $141.76 — capping a weeklong tumble that has shrunk the “cheap chic” discount retailer’s value to $65.3 billion. That amounts to a 12% drop that has shaved a whopping $9 billion off the company’s market capitalization.
