After “much thoughtful feedback from Los Angeles’ diverse communities” the Dodgers have decided to re-invite the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to its 10th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night. They also issued an apology to the drag group, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and their friends and families. The decision to reincorporate the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence comes less than seven days after the team chose to remove the group from the event. Los Angeles was initially set to give the group an award as part of its Pride Night celebration. (Snip) Members also hold pub crawls that mock the Stations of the Cross, and even the Eucharist.

From the LA Dodger's website: Mark Walter is the chairman and controlling owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and an investor, conservationist and social-justice advocate. Maybe later they'll update his profile to include "anti-Catholic bigot". Because that is exactly what this social-justice advocate is.

How sad that an American institution like the Los Angeles Dodgers chose to invite a group of drag queens who regularly mock the doctrines of the Catholic faith to their celebration of Pride NIght. I am a practicing Catholic, educated first grade through college in Catholic schools, and never once was I taught to be dismissive, or disrespectful, or to commit blasphemy against someone else's beliefs. When these drag queens mock the Holy Eucharist, the Passion of Christ, and The Blessed Mother, then what they are doing is committing blasphemy, and that is a serious offense against God. The drag queens should never have received an apology from this corporation. I am surprised that their planning committee did not know something about the group's type of humor before the invitition was extended to them. Doesn't the Bible tell us that you should never make a fool of God. If I were a fan, I'd never attend another Dodgers' game or even watch the team on television, and the Bishops of Los Angeles should make sure their parishoners are made aware of the disrespect shown to Jesus and His Mother by this group.

Does ADHD in fact exist? This week the BBC’s Panorama programme quite rightly exposed some very worrying private clinics.
