I have been on this planet for fifty-three years. (snip) I have never heard the term “safe” as much as I have heard over the last couple years. (snip) What happened? We, as a group, decided to get soft. Technology has provided an environment where one can live an easy and soft life. We subconsciously agreed to not let anything bad happen to our children. Everyone won and everyone was told they were the best. Even when they weren’t even close. This fiction twisted our American youth with no non-painful remedy.

They sent a can to a man-child in a dress, and he drank a beer in a bathtub and filmed it. Yet everyone is willing to destroy the lives of employees and distributors who had less than nothing to do with the marketing stunt.
The true economic, social, and political cost of the measures proposed by governments (in the West only) to destroy their nations' businesses and jobs and to impoverish every household is becoming ever more visible. (snip) Now, under the guise of prohibiting discrimination based on race, religion, sex, etc., Democrats have proposed regulations that would force jurisdictions that accept HUD funding to "promote equity in their communities, decrease segregation, and increase access to opportunity and community assets for people of color and other underserved communities."
In other words, the left is saying that the route to upward mobility for disadvantaged minorities is dependent on their relocation to more affluent areas
Few of his supporters were surprised to learn that Trump was going to do a sit-down in New Hampshire for CNN. (snip) Host Kaitlan Colllins clearly thought she would have the upper hand. Coming from the bubble of leftist propaganda that is CNN’s principal reason for being, of course she believed she would be the hero of the event. But she got her comeuppance within the first few minutes. She acted the fool and Trump does not suffer fools, he eviscerates them with a smile on his face.
He certainly got the better of Kaitlan Collins despite her rude, smug arrogance.

Well, yet another supposedly “damning” video of Tucker Carlson got leaked to Media Matters for America (“MMFA”). As with the others, it shows Tucker when he’s not seated at his desk speaking to the audience but is, instead, conversing with those around him, whether in person, on the phone, or via text. MMFA, which despises Tucker Carlson, presumably released this material to show Tucker in a bad light. However, for conservatives, the videos give us a first-hand look at a real, thoughtful, funny, and intelligent man we’d love to meet for a beer. So I ask, mostly facetiously and a tiny bit seriously, is Tucker the man behind the leak

The technical name, albeit a less flamboyant one than the metaphor of micturition, is dissimulation.
President Trump enthusiastically touts his support of the Right to Try law, passed in May, 2018. Ironically, it may benefit one of his main political adversaries.

According to the May 2 New York Times, on the last day of her testimony in her civil suit against Donald J. Trump alleging rape, E. Jean Carroll insisted that she was fired as advice columnist for Elle because President Trump called her a liar, not because she gave an excerpt of her book to rival New York magazine. This question immediately came to mind: would a New York City-based editor dismiss a columnist because Trump called her a liar?
That question was answered by this follow-up question: In media circles, isn't criticism from Pres. Trump considered a badge of honor?
Someday, if America is saved, there may be a museum to memorialize the Covid dead. There will be a wing for those killed by the disease who died at home after being refused early treatment. There will be a wing for those who died of the vaccine and another for those who died from the lockdowns. Someone with access to the video feed from Tucker Carlson’s home studios has leaked a video that they must have expected to be damaging to the former top-rated host, but which really damages the streaming video service, Fox Nation. If Carlson is to be blamed, it would be for being frank and honest in a private conversation.

It must have seemed to Democrats like a good idea at the time to encourage the idea that their most solid political base, African Americans, deserve payment from taxpayers for the harm that slavery did to their ancestors. Particularly when Donald Trump began making inroads in 2016, taking Hillary Clinton’s support among black males down to 82%, well below the 90s that Barack Obama enjoyed. Because bribing voting blocs with taxpayers’ money is such a familiar tool for politicians, this tactic didn’t raise alarm at first.

Louisiana – Kenner police this week revealed a racial motive in the killing of a 66-year-old handyman.
Two black male suspects, Tahj Matthews, 23 and Maurice Holmes, 25, admitted to their role in killing Lawrence Herr while he was repairing a mailbox last month.
One of the suspects told police he “just wanted to kill a white guy.”
Matthews and Holmes were both charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal drive-by shooting on April 10.
According to reports, the suspects gunned down Lawrence Herr while he was repairing a mailbox on Kenner’s Georgetown Place.
Both suspects are being held in the Jefferson Parish Correction Center, according to WVUE.
