A San Jose grandmother has allegedly been importing fentanyl from India and other countries into the U.S. and has been using her home as a base for the global drug operation. Joanne Marian Segovia, 64, is the executive director of the San Jose Police Officers' Association, and was charged with attempting to unlawfully import valeryl fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, federal prosecutors said in a statement Wednesday. If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison. Starting in 2015, Segovia had at least 61 drug shipments mailed to her San Jose home from India, Hong Kong, Hungary and Singapore with manifests that listed their contents

Segovia started a global drug operation in 2015. Two of her drug packages were intercepted by Customs in 2019 and 2020. She made an illicit shipment to a drug house in North Carolina in 2021. The San Jose Police Department and the Police Officers' Association used to have a good reputation, but this woman destroyed it all. I was married to a S.J. Police Lt. for 20 years and it's sad to see these headlines, but San Jose and California have gone down the toilet for many years with SEIU and the HARD Left in charge. If we don't fight this trend, this will happen to the rest of our beloved country. We'll be like Mexico with those in charge doing what this drug mule has done.

Her regular contribution of 10% for the Big Guy, she missed a few payments. She could claim she was just trying to kill the pain caused by Republicans. She could claim she is a one-person, investigative task force trying to determine the identity of the Big Guy. Unfortunately for her, the closest she could get is a basement in Delaware. The city’s police department is under a Department of Justice consent decree that does little to address the real, systemic problems on the Chicago police force but adds reams
