A massive sinkhole in southeastern Texas that first grabbed headlines by threatening homes in 2008 began crumbling again over the weekend, ballooning to over 1000 feet across and 400 feet deep overnight. After years of stability, the rim of the sinkhole in Daisetta began crumbling again on Sunday night after residents reported hearing popping 'like a gunshot' coming from the ground hours before. Neighbors went to bed Sunday night and woke to find that the sinkhole was growing, and it has since gained about 150 feet in both width and depth.

There is now one place in America that will no longer have to worry about faulty machines plaguing our elections. Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow and one of America’s foremost election integrity advocates, made a historic announcement on Frank TV yesterday that Osage County, Missouri became the first place in America to completely ditch machine voting and move exclusively to hand-counting election results. Make no mistake: this is a game-changer for election integrity. Osage County is not alone. Several counties across the US are moving to paper ballots. Shasta County in California voted to go to paper ballots recently. And Nye County in Nevada counts ballots by hand now.

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel described the loss of conservative candidate Daniel Kelly in Tuesday’s Wisconsin Supreme Court election as “a messaging issue.” “I will say something else. When you’re losing by 10 points there is a messaging issue. And abortion is still an issue. And we can’t allow the Democrats to define Republicans and put millions of dollars up in lies and have it go unanswered, because the lies become the truth if they go unanswered,” McDaniel said Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom.”

I’ll confess, I did not have this one on my Bingo card: Though he hasn’t yet made his own bid for re-election official, President Joe Biden is facing another Democratic challenger for the 2024 race. Baltimore— More than 150 Catholic priests and others associated with the Archdiocese of Baltimore sexually abused over 600 children and often escaped accountability, according to a long-awaited state report released Wednesday that revealed the scope of abuse spanning 80 years and accused church leaders of decades of coverups. The report paints a damning picture of the archdiocese, which is the oldest Roman Catholic diocese in the country and spans much of Maryland. Some parishes, schools and congregations had more than one abuser at the same time — including St. Mark Parish in Catonsville, which had 11 abusers living and working there between 1964 and 2004. My introduction to San Francisco came in the late 1970s, when I spent a lot of time there as a young lawyer. For a Midwestern guy, the San Francisco of that era was a revelation: great restaurants, famous hotels on Nob Hill, fog drifting in off the Bay. But today’s San Francisco is, sadly, something else. The San Francisco Chronicle has a long, long article about the city’s demise: “Downtown S.F. on the brink: It’s worse than it looks.” And it looks really bad. The numbers are grim: "Don’t be fooled. The downtown area, the city’s primary economic driver, is teetering on the edge, facing challenges greater than
