While discussing Trump’s potential indictment on Monday, Robert Costello, former legal advisor to Michael Cohen, referred to Cohen as a “convicted perjurer” and suggested that his testimony may not be reliable in any case.
Recently, a grand jury has been investigating Trump’s business practices, including his alleged involvement in hush-money payments made to a woman who claimed to have had an affair with him before the 2016 presidential election. As part of this investigation, Robert Costello, former legal advisor to Michael Cohen, testified before the grand jury.

I’m getting the impression that Mr. Costello is trying to save his own reputation after being a legal advisor to Michael Cohen.

Cohen is a liar, to put it bluntly. I wouldn't believe a word he says.

No one believes Cohen. But for the kangaroo court in New York, you don't have to.

When even this sham of a proceeding casts serious doubt on its star witness, you know this is going nowhere.

I just saw Costello on Tucker Carlson. Pretty impressive. I think the DA better not mess with this guy.

Remember when convicted perjurers statements were taken with a grain of salt by the courts? Now because Cohen is saying whatever this DA wants him to say, they are eagerly eating up his spew. I wouldn't trust Cohen to tell me the sky is blue and my lawn is green, not without looking out the window to verify.
Between this and the fact that Mueller himself didn't go after Trump regarding this subject, this DA is poking a really mean bear that just might bite him in the bahoogies if he isn't careful. DA's usually have more caution when it comes to their careers.

We will soon find out if the members of the grand jury think for themselves or if they do as they are told.
I am betting on the latter. Half of them are probably already imagining book deals - "How I Brought Trump to Justice!"

Listen, this is New York justice at work here. As I commented elsewhere, NY attorneys can/will indict a ham sandwich if necessary. Meanwhile, Cohen really humped the pooch on this one.

Given they want to indict Trump and they think he is guilty, then why aren't they charging Stormy Daniels with prostitution or any related charge?

I have as much conviction to the honesty of Cohen as I do to the honesty and truth of everything Joe Biden says.

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when Bragg's office made a deal with Cohen. A reputable news organization (LOL) should look into that.
From The Wash Examiner in 2021:
Cohen was sentenced to prison after he pleaded guilty in August 2018 to eight criminal charges, including bank fraud, tax fraud, and campaign finance violations. The violations were related to facilitating hush-money payments to two women who alleged they had romantic affairs with Trump.
A lawsuit by Cohen was filed against Trump in March 2019, alleging the president's business did not pay his legal bills up to a promised amount. The lawsuit was dismissed by a New York judge on Nov. 12.

Let's never forget what Mr. Costello said...Cohen told him...I'll say whatever they want me to say so I don't go to jail...doesn't matter what is the truth..only what Washington's swamp wants me to say....

Someone radio or TV or internet had one of the jury on yesterday. She said she (no one on the jury) trusts Cohen. Bragg doesn't have a hill to climb but a mountain to scale to convince the g j.
