A pair of climate activists in Scotland will face trial after allegedly vandalizing a display case holding national hero William Wallace’s broadsword. "The police say the accused believe they were raising awareness of climate change and that their actions were necessary for the cause," prosecutor Eilidh Smith said. Alexander Cloudley, 29 and Katrielle Chan, 21, both from Glasgow, pleaded not guilty to vandalism in Stirling Sheriff Court last week. They allegedly damaged and spray-painted the case holding Wallace of "Braveheart" fame’s sword. They're not nuts op, they are staggeringly, beyond belief, IGNORANT ! This is the result of our ( and other countries ) elimination of primarily math, science and engineering from education curriculum ! If you spend a little time asking young people just general questions, you very discover that they really do not know ANYTHING or know how to do ANYTHING ! They have spent their entire education 'learning' about how mean and selfish and just generally bad people have been in the past and how their life's goal should be correcting all of these injustices and atoning for all the past injustices. On top of this they have been told and convinced that they and what they can accomplish in their lives is the ONLY hope for the salvation of mankind and far more importantly the salvation of the environment ! They accept this BS without question because they have NEVER been taught how to analyze ANYTHING. What we are seeing is the result of DECADES of 'Indoctrination to Stupid 101' thanks to our wonderful system of 'free education' and colleges/universities full of over payed tenured theoreticians ( AKA 'professors') who themselves have NEVER done or accomplished ANYTHING except GO TO SCHOOL !

To poster #8, regarding hanging, drawing and quartering... Nobody does this anymore, the skilled pool of executioners available for a proper job died many, many years ago. Would we have "tryouts" to ascertain promising candidates for hire? I'm willing to donate some American "Doctors" and politicians for job applicants to work on if that might be helpful....

There has been some recent media buzz, as well as hope, about the possibility that former First Lady Michelle Obama might be persuaded to enter the 2024 presidential race. While that prospect is very unlikely – she has always rebuffed any notion that she might run for office – the enthusiasm is understandable. As the Democratic presidential nominee, or even the vice-presidential nominee, she would give Democrats their best chance at retaining the White House.
