Will Biden’s Ukraine Trip Inspire Even

President Joe Biden made a “surprise” visit to Ukraine Monday. It doesn’t take a cynic to wonder how many tales from the trip he’ll come up with to pad his already bursting catalog of self-aggrandizing lies, which the media has mostly ignored for decades. We can imagine Biden in the coming months telling audiences that “we were shot down twice” as the Air Force Special Air Mission jet approached the Rzeszow airport in Poland near the Ukraine border, and then while visiting the front, the Ukrainian forces “let me shoot some of their artillery,” which was particularly rewarding because “I

No surprises with what Biden’s scenario will be, as Biden will just tell the Ukrainians and the Poles what they want to hear like he does with every domestic and foreign ethnic or racial group that listen to him. As an example in this instance Biden will erase all the Puerto Ricans from the community where he grew up in Pennsylvania and Delaware, and will replace them with immigrant Ukrainians and Poles who he will say he hung with during his growing up years, of course all BS. That’s the way most of the old time liberal Democrat corrupt politicians have operated over the years. The potential problem this time is Biden, looking for a way out of the bad inflationary situation and out of control government spending that is underway in the USA, is sitting right in the middle of the country, Poland, where the Second World War started, with Biden having a great potential through his words to stumble into a shooting war with Russia, that could well involve the use of tactical nuclear weapons, and directly involve the deployment of U.S. troops.

Yes, including the one where Biden claims to have been raised in a Polish neighborhood. This has been disproved before and will be disproved again. Biden claimed to be a defense lawyer earlier in a Ukraine speech. That also is false.

Congress To Probe COVID Vaccines — And

One of the key functions of Congress is to oversee how our government’s many branches do their jobs. It’s a central part of holding those in power accountable. That’s why it’s good news that the new Republican House has decided to investigate the COVID-19 vaccines, which turned out to be deadlier, and far less effective, than promised. This is not one of the “gotcha” committees, such as the ones run by the Democrats during the last session of Congress that amounted to little more than political sideshows with no real serious intent of reform or improving government. Instead,

Tuesday night, Tucker Carlson’s audience witnessed one of those hilariously spontaneous moments only possible on live TV. Chris Miller, former acting Defense secretary, incredulously half-asked his host, “Vivek (Ramaswamy) just announced that he’s going to run for president? Did I hear that right in the last segment?” Assured he had indeed perceived correctly, Miller continued, “That’s just amazing. So I’m literally second fiddle.” Miller can be excused for uncertainty that he had captured the 37-year-old activist-investor-author’s declaration. Ramaswamy stepped on his own applause line – awkwardly delivered as “I am running for United States President” instead of

Shortly after a Biden administration official boasted about how the federal government might ban gas stoves for being “unsafe,” the White House reassured the public that no such ban was in the works. We warned readers at the time not to believe such reassurances because “once this sort of train starts moving there is often no stopping it.” That was in early January. It took less than a month for the Biden administration to prove us right. Earlier this month, the Department of Energy released a proposed rule that, if implemented, would essentially regulate gas stoves out of existence.

This is the last of our series about the worship of false idols and how these secular religions are eroding the fabric of our society. (The previous columns appeared here, here, and here.) Climate obsession, the concept of ensuring equal outcomes as opposed to equal opportunity, and the unmooring of gender from biology have profound implications, but these generally do not have as pervasive effects as the imaginary “right not to be offended” and its progeny, self-censorship. Claiming to be offended has become a weapon to exert control over others that is neither justified nor deserved. It is, itself, offensive, to say nothing of annoying. For instance,

Recent revelations that President Joe Biden kept classified government documents at his two namesake think tanks, his Delaware home and even his garage have largely been treated with a yawn by big media. But average Americans are paying attention and worry that Biden's careless stewardship of classified documents endangers U.S. national security, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. In our national online I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,358 adults, taken from Feb. 1-3, we asked Americans two questions, the first being: "How closely are you following the story about classified documents from Joe Biden's time as Vice President found at his former office and home?" As it turns out, Americans are paying pretty close attention

While spending the country into ruin, President Joe Biden likes to portray himself as a fiscal conservative who has cut the deficit in half in the past two years. But a new report from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office shows just how big a lie this is — a 5 1/2 trillion dollar lie, to be exact. During his State of the Union speech last week, Biden not only claimed that “my administration has cut the deficit by more than $1.7 trillion — the largest deficit reduction in American history,” he also claimed that he’s a miser compared to Donald Trump. “Under

Almost exactly two years ago today, the New York Times ran an article headlined: “Biden and Fed Leave 1970s Inflation Fears Behind.” That story has not aged well. Neither have the troika of ideologues and imbeciles behind the rebirth of ‘70s-era inflation. On Tuesday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that prices climbed 0.5% in January, which is up from December’s 0.1% hike. Prices were up 6.4% over the year before, which is higher than economists had been predicting and comes amid warnings that inflationary pressures are building again. This all comes one week after President Biden reassured the nation that “here at home, inflation is coming down.”

Hot, cold, wet, dry, sunny, clear, snow, no snow – it doesn’t matter, it’s caused by global warming, the climate alarmists tell us over and again. Their desperation is palpable, the cords that keep them tethered to reality fraying more than ever, their charade coming apart. For more than 30 years, the crisis peddlers have carried the narrative that man’s carbon dioxide emissions are creating an existential threat. They’ve cajoled, bullied, lied, deceived, screeched and burned an immense volume of fossil fuels to get their hard-left agenda codified and executive ordered, and they have some successes to refer to. But their efforts have been, and always will be, useless.

With inflation running at an average annual rate of 8% last year and 4.7% the year before, Americans are feeling the pinch. The White House said Wednesday it moved one step closer to meeting its offshore wind energy goals by announcing the first lease sale for developments in the Gulf of Mexico. President Joe Biden set a goal of having 30 gigawatts of offshore wind installed by 2030, with another 15 GW coming from floating turbine installations by 2035. To reach that goal, the administration said it opened its first lease sale for offshore wind in the Gulf of Mexico. Three lease areas off Texas and Louisiana could support the development of enough wind energy to meet the demands of nearly 1.3 million average households, the White House in a fact sheet.

The Ukrainians have not only held their own, but have managed to liberate a good chunk of their conquered territory. They’ve been buoyed tremendously by a constant influx of Western military aid. I argue here, against a small but vocal conservative faction, that we should continue this aid. There has been plenty of unhelpful hyperbole on both sides of the debate. Prominent pro-Ukrainers have attempted to equate opposition to Ukrainian aid as opposition to democracy itself. Michael Beschloss, NBC’s resident Rent-A-Zinn, referencing members of Congress who didn’t applaud Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent speech, and in Stalinist fashion, tweeted “we need to know from them exactly why.”

As for math, across 53 schools, no students are proficient. The bulk of those underperforming campuses — twenty-two in the case of reading and thirty-three in the case of math — sit within the City of Chicago School District — where taxpayers annually spend between $5,929 and $56,311 per student.

While approved by the Food and Drug Administration for veterinary use, xylazine, a non-opioid, is not safe for humans,

Ukraine's insistence on reasserting control over the annexed Crimean Peninsula is controversial for United States citizens, exclusive polling for Newsweek has revealed. Throughout the past year, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly committed to "liberating" Crimea from Russian control. The peninsula was illegally annexed by Moscow back in 2014. "Crimea is our land, our territory," Zelensky said in January. "It is our sea and our mountains. Give us your weapons—we will return what is ours." His words coincided with reports that the Biden administration was warming up to the idea of supporting Kyiv in its goal of retaking Crimea.

These governments believed it was important to report on successes and failures of pandemic decisions because it was the public that was on the receiving end of policies such as closed schools, vaccine mandates, and shuttered businesses. The United States is notably absent from this list, despite a long history of setting up bipartisan commissions after national crises in order to avoid repeating mistakes. Since 1989, when the current iteration of bipartisan commissions essentially came into being, Congress has funded 170 commissions to
