Public health officials will provide medical assistance to residents of East Palestine, Ohio, in a greater response to increasing fears in the community after a train loaded with toxic chemicals derailed more than two weeks ago, leading to possible contamination of the air and drinking water in the region. Starting Tuesday, health experts with the Ohio Department of Health, the Columbiana County Health Department, and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will meet face-to-face with citizens for two weeks as part of a series of public health clinics to answer medical questions and provide health assessments, medical care and other assistance

The railroad should be forced to buy the homes of all residents who want to leave at the pre disaster market price. If it bankrupts them, so be it.

I hope at some point we can use real science, and facts, and look at what has actually happened. We need to have facts on water supplies. Are they actually contaminated? At toxic levels? Be very aware that when some news report says "XXXXX was detected" in the water, or air, or ground that very well may mean absolutely nothing of significance. Current technology can DETECT at parts per trillion.....where toxic effects of most chemicals kick in at tens or hundreds of parts per million. So, "detected" can still be millions of times below the toxic threshold. These anti-industry, anti-modernity Luddites look for bad events like this to exaggerate the bad effects. This may be much like the huge TV hysteria about the oil blowout in the Gulf of Mexico. Hysterical claims that "the Gulf will be a dead zone for decades" and "all life will die in the Gulf" and such nonesense was pumped out daily. And what actually happened? The naturally occurring bacteria which live in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and normally live by digesting the oil that has seeped out of cracks on the floor of the seabed for millenia, had a massively increased, but temporary food overabundance. So they did what bacteria do, they increased their numbers and after about 4 or 5 weeks, somehow the oil "just disappeared". Various "experts" were brought in to pontificate. "The oil has sunk to the bottom of the Gulf where it will continue to kill for decades more" was often heard. What antiscientific, fraudulent nonsenese. Oil floats on water, never sinks. But saying that the ecosystem had cleaned itself up by naturally occurring oil-digesting bacteria eating it was counter to "the narrative". We need to carefully and calmly observe what has actually happened in Ohio, and push the political hysteria aside. Almost any chemicals can be eaten by various bacteria, and this is the basis for all industrial wastewater cleanups, which I worked with as a young engineer. Bacteria adapt to whatever food sources occur. First, they are not efficient if it is something entirely novel, as these chemicals very well may be. But, over time, it is reasonable to expect that the pollution will slowly be cleared up by natural processes. We should work to help those processes, and not hinder them. And whatever forms of cleanup, like scooping up reasonable amounts of particularly contaminated soil and incinerating it, should be done. Incineration works because heat breaks down chemicals into their constituent, generally harmless, components. We need cool heads, clear thinking, sensible, scientific methods, and we need to keep the hysterical media and grandstanding politicians out of it. So far, apparently no one has died. That's a good start. Certainly many have been greatly inconvienienced, and lost a lot of money. That needs to be taken care of by the company. This media circus just turns my stomach, and too many allegedly reasonable people seem to love to go with the hysteria.

Public health officials were the stormtroopers of the COVID Blitzcrieg that killed thousands and needlessly destroyed the lives of children. The whole lot of them should be hanged for crimes against humanity. Government and media are the enemy of the people. .

The grisly scene where a top Bill Clinton adviser was found hanged from a tree with a gunshot wound to his chest has finally been revealed nine months after he died.  But the sheriff's report into Mark Middleton's mysterious death raises more questions than answers as it rules he died by suicide – despite no sign of the weapon that killed him. Middleton, 59, was found dead last May at the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas, an hour west of Little Rock.   Release of the report was held up after members of his family petitioned a judge. They were worried that pictures from the gory scene would be made public.

The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, which is investigating the Biden family's business dealings, has asked a former Serbian official for an interview and documents related to Hunter Biden. The Republican-led committee sent a five-page letter Tuesday to Vuk Jeremić, who served as Serbia's foreign minister and president of the U.N. General Assembly from 2012 to 2013. "The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating President Biden's connections to certain international and domestic business transactions and practices, including his family and associates who peddled influence to generate millions of dollars for the Biden family," chairman Rep. The problem was highlighted in a study by researchers in NYC last week, which found the city's posh Upper East Side neighborhood is covered in 300 times more poop than what would be needed to close a local beach. Once upon a time we mocked the Soviet Union for its gerontocracy. Aged party leaders, bundled up in overcoats and fur hats to the point of near-unrecognizability, would be wheeled out to sit, immobile, as parades passed or party congresses opened. Their withered, stale leadership was emblematic of the decaying USSR’s withered, stale ideology — and industrial base. But now the joke’s on us.
