With His SOTU Ukraine Tie, Mitch McConnell

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has never shied away from shilling for Ukraine. But for Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, the Kentucky Republican took it up a notch with a wardrobe statement piece. While attending President Joe Biden’s largely incoherent speech, McConnell forwent America’s red, white, and blue, instead wearing a tie emblazoned with the colors of the Ukrainian flag: blue and yellow. Like a NASCAR driver, McConnell was apparently just sporting the hues of the brand he represents.

#11, Mitch is definitely a schill for China. He is married to Elaine Chou (Trump called her KoKo Chou) who claims to be TaIwanese. Her father is well ensconsed in the Chinese pockets as one of the CCP's main shipping partners. For a wedding present McConnell accepted a dowry of $26 million from Daddy—or was it from the Dong Chow Ping??? A distinction without a difference.

He should have worn a red tie with the Chinese stars on it. After all, every time he flies over there, on private jet of course, to check on his 'foundation to help poor Chinese kids' I am certain he brings them a couple of 'classified' items as well. I am sure his servants over here have been busy burning anything that he's not supposed to have in his greedy paws.

President Biden’s long overdue decision to end the Covid-19 public health emergency declaration on May 11 has exposed the big-government activists who used the pandemic to expand and entrench the nanny state. At the start of the pandemic, the federal government passed a law prohibiting states from removing ineligible individuals from Medicaid until the emergency declaration was ended. In exchange, the federal government picked up a bigger share of the program’s cost at taxpayers’ expense.

Republican Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson shredded federal agencies and the corporate media for working with Democratic operatives to promote “left-wing ideology” in the past several years. Johnson criticized agencies for allegedly covering for left-wing politicians while simultaneously targeting former President Donald Trump and other conservatives in the years following the 2016 presidential election. He accused the media of complying with the FBI in investigating the now-discredited allegations that Russia colluded with the 2016 Trump campaign and covering up the Hunter Biden laptop story.

On Tuesday, President Biden delivered his second State of the Union address. The speech was peppered by surprisingly agile ad libs about not sunsetting Social Security as well as calls for Democrats and Republicans to unite, especially around spurring economic growth and productivity through a new push for "made in America." The President noted—rightly—that a reinvigoration of U.S. manufacturing will inspire feelings of pride, hope, optimism, and collaboration across the aisle. Yet while his invitation for bipartisanship was music to my ears, I recognized the tone of sweet talk and low substance.

Republican Rep. George Santos positioned himself in a prime location for President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address — an uncomfortably prominent place for the embattled new lawmaker who faces multiple investigations and has acknowledged embellishing and even lying about his life story. Santos’ presence at the center aisle to see and be seen with the arrivals was met with a stern rebuke from a fellow Republican, Sen. Mitt Romney. “You don’t belong here,” the Utah Republican scolded Santos as he entered the House chamber and spotted the New York Republican on the aisle.

The public is gradually learning how, despite repeated denials and non-answers, top government officials were well aware of the potential for violence on January 6, 2021. A chief investigator on the January 6 select committee told NBC News last week that law enforcement was privy to a trove of intelligence indicating problems could arise during the election certification process but, for some unexplained reason, chose to ignore the warning signs. “The Intel in advance was pretty specific, and it was enough in our view for law enforcement to have done a better job operationalizing a secure perimeter.”

There is a certain demographic that appears to be on an organized mission to show the rest of us just how immoral and backward its philosophies really are. Most notably, these ideologues salivate over unfettered abortion, even to the point when the act becomes definable as "infanticide," and they continue to push the envelope regarding "transgender" sex-change mutilations of children, even prepubescent ones. Think they can't possibly commoditize human life more? Think again — the metaphorical "hold my beer" seems appropriate.
